Even as the orb left his hand it flew wide missing the larger beast by a long shot. His hands flew up to protect him, swatting at the baby phoenix. "Damn you pest, I know, I know what I did, I killed you!" He snarled again swinging at the bird trying to get the pest away from her. He could do nothing at this rate. Soon it might be too late.

((Blocking Castor!))
The tiny Phoenix chirruped at Zinkenite, taking to the air and landing on the General's shoulder for just a moment. Long enough to rub it's head against his cheek. It didn't speak, but Zink knew what it meant.
I'll be okay.
Lyra was in Zink's hands for now.
Schee-Phoenix took the air once more, dodging shots and coughing a fireball up at Castor before it's flight path ended on top of the great Phoenix.
There Scheelite gave the bird the best form of a hug he could. Not...that birds were good huggers, but he certainly hoped that his rubbing at her face was comforting in some sort of fashion. The tiny glowing eyes looked up at the great Phoenix in worry. she'd...be okay, right? She had to be!

Yep, judging by the shade of his face, Themis was back to normal. Bellatrix sat up and brushed some stuff from the ground out of her hair.
"That was fun."
And that was no lie. She had enjoyed that little fight, even though at times she wasn't sure if she was going to be able to back up her own remarks...
"You okay?"
Okay, so now that she wasn't in a skirmish, Bell notices all the little baby youma flying around. Uuuuuuuh~

The baby phoenix launched off of Hephaistos' face, looking quickly for another senshi to ward off. He quickly lined up Gianfar in his sights, streaking towards him, claws extended outwards.
... only to miss him by a good foot and crash into the ground in a burst of flames and smoke.
Not easily deterred, he sprang up and looked for a way to redeem himself.

Scylla laughed, scrambling over the battlefield in pursuit of Zanazzite. She must have looked insane, ribbons and curls streaming out behind her as she skirted rubble, ducking and dodging around the rubble in pursuit of her target.
It was strange. She could remember ducking and dodging around trees. She'd been the one in the other woman's place. Someone had hunted her once... hunted Scylla once... had they? Many times her world had been hounded by war, but she couldn't remember anything like this.
Finally the other woman came to a half, spinning, and declaring her willingness to fight.
Wonderful.
But first? Scylla spun, bending and picking up a hunk of concrete. "Take that, you monster!" she screamed, and turned her attention back to the combat ahead of her. "And you're next." she picked up another rock, hurling it at Zanazzite.

Him again! That winged b*****d, he was too close!
Taking a deep breath she sucked in the air around her, power building deep in her chest. It was hard to explain what it was, but it was amazing. Without even thinking she exhaled. A burst of purple flame tinted with ashes came ripping out her maw towards Castor. He wouldn't get near Tanz! Tanz had protected her against him, she would return the favor in turn.
All the while still beating on Merope below her.

"No!" Zanazziite jumped in front of concrete that was being thrown at the dragon, gasping as it hit her in the shoulder. Oh, that hurt. Glaring at Scylla she ran at her, using her already broken antler to knock the rock away. Pieces of her weapon were knocked off, flying back into her face, cutting her cheeks, little rivulets of blood trickling downwards. Luckily her cracked glasses protected her eyes from the brunt of the damage. Shaking the debris out of her hair, she went after Scylla, swinging wildly.

"I feel so ******** weird." He muttered, and then, it hit him.
He'd been fighting.
He'd been fighting her,
"OH GOD IM SORRY !" He all but launched in excuses. It was a little silly, really. The onslaught only stopped when the baby phoenix passed him by.
.......What ?

If there was one person who could have arrested his progress... it was her.
The sight of her blue and black new uniform...the blue hair and the too familiar brown eyes was more of a knife twist than any Senshi could have delivered.
He stopped, and then averted his path... a hand held up for a distracted moment as the Schee-phoenix chirped at him. He had to do this... he had to...
He had to know.
"Linarite..." He called her... the name cracked in his mouth, it cut him up inside even as the familiar name fell out into the world.

Laurelite had menaced at her earlier and had been blown off with a sharp retort through confusion. The power signature had been far lower than she would have expected for a General-Queen and then she had vanished in the middle of a battle that had been of dire importance to her cause. It seemed uncharacteristic of her at best...or maybe Lina was just seeing their true natures for the first time? Maybe Laurel had never really been as powerful as they were led to believe.
It was interesting to consider.
Zinkenite, however, could not be blown off. There was a great depth of feeling for the diminutive General as he stared at her but she refused to fidget with guilt beneath his stare. "Hello Number One." She remembered that much. The nickname, where it had come from, was a mystery. But it was what she called him. Not Z, not Zink, not Zinkenite. Number One.
"Miss me?"

Bell just grinned. Wierd indeed...
She watched the look on his face as realization dawned. Oh, it was humorous!
"It's okay. We'll chat later. Right now I think we kinda need to try getting rid of these things." Those things being the baby phoenixes. One full grown one looked bad enough, but a ton of babies? Okay, maybe that was streatching reality but...
Bellatrix stood, and offered to help Themis up.
Yep. After this, there was definitely going to be brownies and ice cream. And some chatting. First thing is first though.

Another rock sailed through the air from the hand of another senshi, not far from where Asclepius found herself. And then, with an uncomfortable sound, the other girl dropped to the cement.
Dropping the second stone she had picked up, Asclepius darted to Requiem's side, chewing her lip worriedly as she saw blood pouring from her leg. Her senshi power would restore some energy, give the other senshi the opportunity to use her own attack again, but it would not stop the precious blood from leaking out of her.
And that was exactly why Asclepius had decided to pack herself a medical kit for patrols.
Alcohol wipes and a roll of gauze came out of the (cracked) plastic case as soon as the brown-haired girl had fumbled open the zipper, and she put her first aid training to work ensuring the leg wound was clean before she bound it. The poor other girl would have to go to the hospital, as well, more than likely, but she would never make it that far if she bled out on the ground.
Once that was taken care of, if the girl woke up soon, then perhaps Asclepius could provide her with a Remedy to restore her energy, as well. Casting wary glances over her shoulder at the looming Youma, the Senshi of Medicine lightly touched her palm to the unconscious girl's forehead for a moment before working on tying up the wound in her leg.

He flinched when she called that nickname, the slap in the hospital didn't sting as much as something so familiar coming from her right now.
"Why..." He said, it was so quiet...so lost. He would never admit that he cried, he couldn't... he had to be strong for his own, he had to be there for them... he could not do as she had done.
He couldn't leave.
And at the same time... he couldn't bare the thought that she had left him.

"...Yeah." He had to swallow his guilt, at least for now. He accepted her hand and got back on his feet.
That thing had to go down.
And so, Themis rose his arm in the air in a very familiar move. "Themis Noise Storm !"
Should hopefully be enough to take care of the little ones, and hopefully hit the big one too.
