After ten minutes of waiting and humming Sparrow sprinkled the unicorn horn over the potion (powdered of course) She then decided to stir it randomly back and forth freely. Sparrow then ladled a little of the concoction into a cup and wrote her name on it in scrolling letter. Sparrow then grab it and started skipping over to the freezer. Sparrow put it in there and grinned widely and then skipped back to her desk (all while humming) and cleaned up.

Meiko begins by preparing the cauldron in front of her. She gets her wand from her pocket, and fills it with water with the, 'Aguamenti spell', non-verbally. After doing it three times and filling the cauldron with the water, she lits the firewood under her cauldron with the, 'Incendio spell', non-verbally in a calm manner, making the fire to be only making the water warm.

After warming the water for a few minutes, she sprinkles in the rose petals with a serene smile as she did. She gets the stirrer and stirs it, making the juices get worked up even more. Meiko gets a dropper and gets the vanilla. She drops 3 drops into the cauldron, and stirs it again calmly.
"Time to heat it up a bit..." she said to herself as she pointed her wand beneath the cauldron, casting the spell, 'Incendio', again, but with more concentration, making the solution boil this time. As she boils the solution, Meiko gets the mortar and pestle, crushing the beetles' eyes.
"Good thing these are just eyes..." she murmurs to herself, looking at the crushed beetle eyes with disgust. She shakes it off as she gets a tablespoon of it, and drops it in the cauldron. Meiko stirs it counterclockwise 12 times and adds a clockwise stir at the end. After that, she used, 'Aguamenti', on the flames beneath her cauldron, allowing the solution to cool for ten minutes. She hums the song, 'French Love by Vanilla Lucy', as she waits for it to cool.

After ten minutes, Meiko sprinkles in the powdered unicorn horn over it. She stirs it as she keeps humming random songs. After stirring, she gets a ladle and pours some of the solution in an empty cup. Meiko grabs her marker and writes her name in front. She then skips her way to the Muggle freezer in front. She places the solution in and goes back to her place.
She sighs with relief as she starts to doodle in her notebook. "Finished at last~"

Liviana714  Liviana materialized in the doorway, her usually alert disposition marred by an general unkemptness and bedraggled look. She dragged her heavy, rusty, second-hand cauldron behind her. In a dull voice, she said, "Forgive me for not coming to class Professor Akahana."
(Sorry! Student teaching is taking up a lot of my time! I can't promise to be on often, but I didn't want to get expelled. Do you want me to make up all of my work? sweatdrop ) ((Nah, that's okay. lol We haven't done much anyway, because I've been busy with college. ^_^;;; ))

 Eriena Emm – Gryffindor – 5th year
Some of those ingredients were the sort of things they put in anti-stress soaps and whatnot. That made sense to her. Eriena had her cauldron up and bubbling in a matter of minutes. She crushed her three rose petals while whistling a happy tune (and every single time... er... No, she wasn't singing that song). She poured those in the cauldron, then added her three drops of vanilla after stirring. Eriena couldn't help but take a sniff; vanilla smelled heavenly.
She was busily scribbling in her agenda until her cauldron began to boil. She quickly scooped up the beetle eyes she had crushed earlier and sprinkled that into her potion. And then... the dreaded counting stirs.
"I hate these," Eriena muttered to herself as she stuck her ladle moodily into her potion. ... ten... eleven... twelve. And an extra stir the other way.
When she took out some powdered unicorn horn, Eriena couldn't help but gulp at the sight of it. Learning about unicorns and seeing them in Care of Magical Creatures was making her feel rather sad about seeing their most magical asset crushed to powder. No! Snap out of it, Eriena! This was for magical properties! Surely the Ministry of Magic was making sure this was done in a humane way. She wasn't about to turn herself into the wizarding version of a PETA activist.
She poured the powdered horn into her potion and stirred a little harder than she needed to. A few drops were spilling out, but she stopped before anything drastic happened. Eriena then poured some of the potion into a vial, corked it, slapped her name on a label onto it and then walked over to the freezer to put it in.
"Professor, do you keep anything else in here?" she asked, finding a place to stick her vial among the others. "Like popsicles or something?"

Cloud finished copying down the instructions for the potion, and then stepped up to her cauldron. She aimed her wand into it, and muttered a spell so that water flowed out of the tip. When the cauldron was full, she poked the underside of it, and a small flame appeared underneath. Cloud sat back, waiting for the water to warm.

Ghaleon Elmerast, Ravenclaw, 2nd Year
Ghaleon filled his cauldron up and warmed the water, it always seemed to take ages to heat up a cauldron he noted. He then began to sprinkle rose petals over it and started to to stir the mix to get the 'juices' to work into the water. Then adding vanilla, waiting for the mix to boil..
Adding the beetle eyes Ghaleon started to stir it all counterclockwise twelve times making sure to add a clockwise stir at the end. He groaned a little now having to wait for the mix to cool for ten minutes before sprinkling the unicorn horn powder over it and stirring again.
Now he needed to freeze it... without magic? Good grief, he wondered to himself just how in the world wizards and witches made this potion before muggle technology caught up to them. He put a small bit into vial, labeled it and stuck it into one of the free freezers.

Liviana set her old cauldron up at her usual workstation, and dug through her bag for her potions kit. Upon finding it, she was dismayed to unearth the ingredients she needed, but they were stale or shriveled up. Making a mental note (and hoping she could remember in her mental state), she began to attempt the concoction with poor quality materials.
Liviana worked quietly, and sometimes found herself in a trance as she completed her work. Dazed, and zoning in and out, she murmured "Incendio," and lit a fire below her rusty pot. She carefully whispered "Aguamenti," and her wand complied with little difficulty in contrast to her previous experience in Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Liviana took special care in crushing her withered rose petals. It reminded her of Alden, and each individual petal seemed to be her heart. Each time she crushed one, she remembered the love they once shared. Once the water was warm, Liviana added the roses, glad to be rid of them. Stirring, she lost herself in her potion.
She added the vanilla, which reminded her of the times she and Alden would cook together, many Christmases and Easters had been spent with just the two of them. Cookies and cakes were made with copious levels of vanilla, and the smell reminded her, painfully, of better times. Liviana stirred, ridding herself of the powerful scent.
She let the flames rise, and waited for the liquid to boil. Stirring twelve times counterclockwise and once clockwise, she daydreamed.
Liviana paused to let the mixture cool for the mandated ten minutes, and utilized the time to write down the instructions on calming solutions for personal use. She was probably going to need much of it in the weeks leading up to her trial for underage spell use.
When the ten minutes were up, Liviana siphoned off some of the potion into a container and shuffled to the front of the room to place it into the freezer. She returned to her station to clean up her worthless concoction and her useless materials. Without looking back, Liviana left the potions classroom.

Eriena Emm – Gryffindor – 5th year "Oooh, sounds delicious," Eriena said, getting up from looking into the fridge. She wished she were old enough to drink sometimes, just so she could try her hand at making alcoholic beverages. It was kind of like potion-making: adding in the right ingredients at the right measurements and whatnot. It would be a nice summer job to have, bartending... And if she could do that at a wizarding bar, she may be able to create some really crazy stuff.

Casting "Incendio," Heart lights her cauldron after filling it up with three cups of water. As she waits, she takes out the rest of the ingredients, placing them to the side on her desk. She copies the instructions onto fresh parchment, and labels the top of the page with "Relaxation Potion?" The water heats up in a few minutes, so Heart sprinkles the rose petals over the cauldron, stirring the mixture. She adds the three drops of vanilla, stirring once more.
She increases the intensity of the fire with a flick of the wand, and watches the liquid until it begins bubbling. Dumping a tablespoon of crushed beetle eyes into the concoction, she stirs in the counterclockwise direction twelve times, then stirs once in the other direction. She takes the boiling cauldron off the flames.
Ten minutes later, Heart sprinkles the powdered unicorn horn as directed, and stirs. The girl takes out an empty vial, ladling some of the potion into the container. She labels it with her name, then walks up to the Muggle freezer, opening the machine. Carefully placing her work into the freezer, she closes the device, striding back to her desk, and plops down.

Amelia Frances
Amelia made her way through the dungeons. They scared her, her imagination running as she sensed spirits' echos filled the corridor. She refused to acknowledge them, telling herself they'll go away, as she found the opened door. Slipping inside, she looked around. Yes, this was the potions room. There was a sense of calmness throughout the room that she absorbed quickly as she entered, heading to the desk, as the other students seemed to be working on their own. "Ma'am?" her voice was calm, reflecting the aura of the room, "I've been assigned to your class. I apologize for my tardiness: my father had extra leave. Is there anything I need to do before trying the..." she looked at the board, "calming solution?" Amelia gave the teacher a smile; though she never tried to brew a potion, she knew she was good at following directions; it couldn't end up that bad.

 Harmony Trumarie...
Harmony held back a scowl at being called a kiddie, she levated the materials to her table, save the rose petals, she didn't buy any. The Slytherin pulled out her wand and murmured "Orchideous." A red rose appeared, it was so dark it looked black, just like the blood from cheesy vampire movies. She got out her pestle and mortal, and pulled three petals crushing them in a forceful motions.
Harmony filled up her cauldron with water, and conjured a fire to warm it. After a couple mintues she pointed her wand at the fire and said.
"Aqua Eructo!" The flame was extinguished. The brunette picked up her crushed petals and sprinkled it, she stired the mixture slowly pausing only to add the vanilla. Harmony conjured a fire again, and picked up her beetle eyes, as they layed out on her palms, she stared at it with a slight grimace on her face. 'Well at least it's a pretty colour...'
Steam came from her cauldron, and Harmony feeling the heat looked into her calduron, her mixture was boiling. The Slytherin dropped the beetle eyes, and began to stir slowly in a counterwise motion, she added a clockwise stir at the end and began to hum, Something Wicked This Way Comes.

Ravenclaw, second year... ::Walking into the classroom, Sabrina looked at the instructions on the board and gathered the ingredients for the calming solution.::Sorry I'm late, professor. I'll get started on the assignment right away!::Sabrina started the base for the solution, and allowed the water to heat up to a reasonable temperature. Once the water was warm enough, she added the three crushed rose petals, carefully stirring them so that the juices dissolved into the base. Introducing three drops of vanilla to the mixture, Sabrina then continued to stir the mixture delicately. As the ingredients were beginning to combine, she let the cauldron heat up more, bringing the water to a slow, careful boil. After the water began to bubble, Sabrina dropped in the tablespoon of crushed beetle eyes. She stirred the solution counterclockwise, carefully counting to twelve rotations, and then making sure to remember the clockwise turn at the end. The girl used the ten minute cooling period to revise her notes and make sure she was completely caught up in the class. Now that the potion was accurately cooled, Sabrina slowly stirred in a small amount of powdered unicorn horn. Ladling some of the solution into a nearby vial, she sealed it, wrote her name on it, and walked over to the large, muggle freezer to deposit her assignment.:: ...Where those of wit and learning will always find their kind.
