Tiny flakes would blow around her, landing on her garb and pallor. They would remain until dissolving or blowing away, forgotten like everything else.
The last two were up ahead, standing over the body that she, herself, had turned over and ripped the heart from its cold confines.
"Look, boys, I don't think he is your type. If you have a bone to pick, then let me make your day." She had a wicked grin, almost laughing at the dumb pun. One wouldn't waste any time, running at her with sword in hand and shied in the other. As he came closer, the feral woman would baptize him in fire, a Flame Pitch. Sending him backwards with his shield still up. She would leap up and jump upon it, her rubber soles squeaking. The skeleton still swung his blade before she would grip it. The pressure would dig it into her dead flesh but this only made her annoyed.
"Say goodnight.." Red stood, her augmented strength pushing through her legs and into her feet for a bone shattering stomp. The other, the last, let out a ungodly roar. It sounded like something from hell, it didn't bother her at all though. She would wait there, letting the ghoulish skeleton warrior come to her as her feet remained firmly planted in his buddies dusty remains.
Unlike the others, this one was not a bull in a china shop. It did not rush in with a blind fury of raging death. Instead it stalked, circling her in malice.
"I'm sorry about your friend but I had to do it." Red would shrug, it was a kill or be killed kind of world. Survival of the fittest, you had to do anything it takes to survive. That is the rule of this land, it was wisdom that she now lived by.
The slow grinding of metal against rock, dirt, and debris was grating to the ears, Red remained fixated, gathering a current of energy into her arms and hands. Black auras fumed from their structure, consuming even her long claw-like nails. Her smile did not fade, even as her hazel spheres watched the being move steadily closer but still encircled. Its free hand began to spin, making circular motions as it drew in energy. So it was a battle magi...or perhaps its puppet master was near by? Red wasn't sure but her guard remained up as she, herself, did the same thing.
A blaze of energy came at her from her right, the skeleton releasing it to directly hit her chest. She could only pivot slightly, but the hit still took, clipping her shoulder. Red staggered back, the skin charring beneath her hoodie. It hissed and smelled like burning flesh. Seething, the anger inside her began to boil, her desire to strike, to kill, was growing. She would charge this time, advancing with a fist raised the other certainly ready too. Only she drew in, the warrior shifted, it wasn't him at all, but a projection. . It appeared further away, only a few meters with his sword glowing a bright vivid gold.
"Tch..."
Her right hand moved thrusting out to unleash a stream of fire. It would continuously pour out as long as her energy fueled its flame. The impact would slam against the blade, splitting it but not enough to miss the skeleton. Its brittle bones would smolder, smokey plumes idly wafting into the winter wind. The inferno continued, a wild dance of fire crawled over the being then it was ignited in nothing but the humanoid bonfire.
Once she stopped, her fractioned gaze fell upon the dying thing. Like a house of cards, it tumbled down and down, into nothing but pieces and ash. He was the last part of her mission, she was done. With an unneeded sigh, the feral would begin her decent back down the mountain and back to the city.

ℳamoru lend against the sign post with his lanky arms crossed over his chest as he waited for the other person that was suppose to travel with him. His red orbs scanned the surrounding area as he rolled his healed shoulder that was slightly sore from the spear that had went through his shoulder recently. As his boredom grew, he would doze off with his strange sixth sense notifying him at the off chance that anything hostile would try coming near him or if anyone tried attacking him.

The Feral woman pass up the strange looking man, her boots thudding against the rock of the mountain as she moved upwards along its side. So far, nothing but some snow flurries but the cold did nothing to her.

As she was headed up, the ground rumbled below her feet. Hazel eyes looked up, widening as a snow avalanche was headed straight towards her. Quickly she moved back down the pathway, moving out of its way. Only after its passing could she continue.

The snow formed a layer over the path, her boots crunching as she would continue on. Fingers occasionally gripping stone to keep from tripping or slipping back down. Her red hair framed her pallid face as it remained passive, pale lips pressed in a line.

As she headed higher up, a small clearing was found. It was enough for one person to walk through. Red would take the pass that was winding up part of the mountain side. Hands were jammed in her pockets like this was just a casual stroll in the park.

Again the ground started to rumble, the thundering roar of snow sounding from above. "s**t!" She exclaimed, running back several meters to barely miss the impending fall of an avalanche. Her back would slam against a ridge, ducking out of the way. A cold front blew against her face when it turned away, her lips turning a subtle shade of light blue.

As she started to move there was a far off crunching sound, footfalls in the snow. When her hazel eyes opened and looked around the corner, they went wide. There was a skeleton creature, it looked to be that of a wolf...or a large dog. She wasn't sure but it was heading her way.
Red's lower legs would blaze with pitch waves of energy, it swept down to the balls of her feet as she focused the augmentation to there. When she turned, facing the skeleton beast, it immediately started to charge at her. The Feral would run only a few feet and would leap up into the air. Her right fist would raise high as black energy licked the flesh. She would land on top of the beast, it rose upward as her fist came slamming down against its vertebrae. This would smash through it and cause the matter to fall apart beneath her. Quickly she rose, drop kicking the skull off the mountain face.
"....Touchdoooowwwnnnnn~"
She'd laugh slightly, some of the bones crushing against the rock and the others were covered by the blowing snow. The feral would continue, walking and climbing higher.

With all the avalanches happening, she got extremely lucky and found another clearing! This one was a tight squeeze as she had to turn sideways to move through it but it looked to be a shorter distance to the top than the ridged path that she had been on. Once reaching the other side, she would dust herself off and continue onward.

It wasn't that much further from the top, luckily she found shelter through a den. As she ventured more inside, she found that it was rather nice. The walls were lined with crystallize shards, they glittered against the white snow every so often. It seemed though, that no animals took this den up as a home, most likely because it was so high up.
It was after a bit of time, but eventually her thudding foot falls would bring her to another opening. Red stuck her head out of it, expecting there to be another skeleton beast or something to that effect, to her amazement though, it was actually the top of the mountain peak.
She would step out, her hands once again returning to the confines of her hoodie's pockets. She would settle down, waiting on her opponent.

Zethus ran up to the mountain and spotted a guy leaning on a signpost. Slowing his pace and walking up to the man, he asked, "Are you Mamoru? I'm Zethus. I understand We're supposed to get to the top and square off." Not knowing what else to say, he added "Sorry I'm late."

Getting no response from the strange man, Zethus shrugged. He didn't really like to talk anyway. He turned, trudged up the path, and started climbing the mountain. Pale flakes were drifting down form above, the peaceful silence giving little hint to the dangers that lurked higher on the slopes. The only noises were the sound of Zethus' breathing and his boots crunching in the snow. He walked on, feeling calm wash over him as he watched the heavens quietly lay its frozen white blanket upon the earth, like a mother tucking her child in. He'd always loved the snow. He'd never lost the childlike fascination with it. Snow had always seemed magical to him, and for all he knew, it just might be. Maybe snow was actually the presence of some obscure deity. Not that he was especially religious, but he had his beliefs like everyone else. Although, he believed more in the physical than the divine. Zethus roused himself from his musings and continued his temporarily peaceful climb.
