"Wha-Oh....nothing.", Vernadette replied, shaking out of her stupor. She was a bit embarrassed that she'd been caught fantasizing about romps with a male. "Who would your first choice be, Tasia? I'm actually quite stunned that Lady Aegle chose the elf, myself", she asked. She did think it a bit strange that their fearless leader chose him, although it was not her place to question her decisions.

Tasia's cheeks reddened as Vernadette asked her who her first choice of giving her daughters would be.... "H-How am I supposed to know? All I'm concerned with for the moment is filling up on my stock of herbs and cataloging those I'm unfamiliar with." She looked down at the ground, quite embarrassed.

Vernadette put her hand on Tasia's shoulder reassuringly. "Don't worry, Dear Sister. The Goddess protects us and we move according to her will", she said trying to reassure her. Vernadette's strong point was history and books, not interactions with her fellow Valks, or any other fae for that matter.

Tasia admired that Vernadette was trying to reassure her. "Thank you, Vernadette. Usually the children come and help me pick herbs, but with battles going on lately, they've had to stay inside, so all I've been thinking of is getting myself a helper. From tonight's pickings, I found the right one, but he has to go through training first, which delays stocking my shelves further." It was strange for Tasia, talking to a fellow Valkyrie when the only ones she ever spoke to were the children who loved to watch her work and would tag along with her up the mountain to collect herbs... "I'm sure that the Goddess has plans for us that we are unaware of." (( @ Jet: She hasn't carded them yet; maybe later tonight ))

Vernadette nodded in understanding. "I need help as well. The temple library is in need of organization, and it's a daunting task alone. Truth be told, I'm afraid of heights, and the higher shelves require a large ladder to reach", she admitted with a laugh. "Well, Tasia, would you like to accompany me to find something to eat? I'm famished. Looks as if Iduna could use something to nibble on as well."

Tasia was shocked. "You? Afraid of heights? That I never knew! Looks we all need help" ^^ At the mention of food, her stomach gave off quite a rumble. Blushing once again, she nodded her head in agreement. 0///0 (( Nice avi, Sosi XD ))

"Oh yes me. Indeed we do", Vernadette replied as a loud tummy gurgle sounded. She giggled a bit as her own stomach roared in protest. "Looks as if we need to find something to eat, tut-sweet! C'mon!", she said grabbing Tasia and Iduna, making them trail behind her. She was finally getting swept up in the mood of the celebration, if only for food.

Trailing behind Vernadette with Iduna, Tasia couldn't help but think about their duty to the Goddess. It was their duty to give the Goddess daughters to worship her, and the captured males was their way of producing those daughters. Her mind wandered, wondering what it would be like to have that fateful night with a male, and what that male would be like, look like. The aroma of food quickly brought her out of her thoughts and her stomach rumbled again, this time softly. She smiled as the mood swept her along, exciting her.

As she neared a large table with cooked meats and other things on it, a large grin swept across Vernadette's face. The only thing she loved more than her library was food. She grabbed a large plate and began heaping meats, cheeses and an assortment of other tasty things onto her plate. "M'mon! 'Cha 'unna eaf sumfin'?" she managed through a mouthful of food.

Giggling at Vernadette's attempt to talk with food in her mouth, Tasia grabbed a plate and began to pile it with assorted foods as well. "Don't tell me, one of your favorite things about celebrations is the right, am I correct?"

Finally chewing the last bit of food she shoveled into her mouth, Vernadette was able to speak again coherently. "Of course! They always make the best food after these things." She looked over at the things Tasia had put on her plate with a raised eyebrow, wondering if she missed anything good.

After Vernadette's short explaination, Tasia realized that they did have the best food after the battles. She observed as Vernadette looked at her plate. "Is there something wrong?" *blink blink*
