Cabron the Swan Shiny Gligar Cabron the Swan Shiny Gligar Cabron the Swan Knowing.
And I did not like it one bit. lolo My friend doesn't like Nicolas Cage, but she liked the movie enough to not complain about it afterwards. I still haven't watched any movies since Inception. O: I don't follow actors. I just didn't like the ideas. I don't think you can be 'chosen' for anything by an external force. I think you have to choose yourself. I don't like combining the themes of apocalyptica and helplessness. I liked it mostly because of what was put in front of my eyes. I hate decrypting a movie while I'm watching it. It spoils the magic. :'3 I don't think his character was at all helpless. He ensured the life of his child. If he was at all helpless, the movie would have just been him puttering around, moaning about everyone dying. Even if an external force chooses you, I think you have an option to agree or disagree. If not, it's not really being chosen other than being forced. The helplessness I meant came from the 'being chosen'. I believe you have control over absolutely everything in your universe and that you make your own fate. I hate lose-lose situations; I wouldn't have wanted to be the guy OR the kid in that scenario. I think he should have been able to go. I think everybody should be able to go.
I don't think anyone should be able to decide for you whether or not you deserve something. Accept or decline, it doesn't change the fact that they don't have the right to judge you. I feel like you can be chosen for something, but then it is your choice whether or not to go with it. You can't choose to go with it if you aren't chosen.
I think people should be able to decide if you deserve something, otherwise everyone would want it. That's like saying we shouldn't choose mods, everyone should get it because why should we judge people? biggrin

I think people should be able to decide if you deserve something, otherwise everyone would want it. That's like saying we shouldn't choose mods, everyone should get it because why should we judge people? biggrin I think you can only choose or deny yourself, and that anything people say to or about you is only reaffirming the thought you already project. Nobody but you has the right to decide whether or not you deserve something. Unless, of course, you've willingly given them that power over you.
I think there's enough of everything for everyone and nobody should have to want anything. Acting like resources are limited and dividing them based on who does and doesn't 'deserve' them is why the world is in the state it's in.
Also Med, one of the rules is that we don't encourage staying on topic, like, at all. razz

The Green Hornet.
Which was a great and funny movie that I recommend, but had much less green than I was hoping.

Fantastic Voyage
Innerspace gets pulled from the Netflix instant streaming queue on the 19th, and Dad recommended watching Voyage first since it was a major influence for the movie. It was pretty good, and what little I remember of anatomy was pretty consistent in the movie.

It was pretty good, though I'd hate to think that I'd waste a power like that on fear.
