ROUND 1 OF THE MAIN EVENT HAS BEEN POSTED!


For all of those competing in the Main Event, you have until July 19th to get these battles completed or the tournament will move on without you (victory being award to the most *active of the two competitors).





*Activity will be judged by most posts on the tournament thread and time spent waiting on the WFC and will be made as a judgement call based on the views of myself and other guild crew members.

So... Could this be a three legged bracket? Have three Groups (Fire, Water, Grass Group XD ) of four each (with 1 bye) and have 2 rounds, winner moves on to a 3 person round robin?
Just a guess.


Sounds like an interesting idea, but I rather not allow so many to get a bye on the first round. 3nodding

That was the original plan but seeing how we were going to have to go to the 3-man round robin to settle it anyways, perhaps I'll just leave it this way to keep things simple. And by my last comment, I just meant that assuming me and Luther won our battles we would battle each other just short of the finals (again). kp_anthony very well might put the smack down on Luther like he's done before and since I never finished my preliminary battle against Azure Jaguar the last time, I don't know for sure if the jag has any sort of surprises in stored for my team this time around or not. pirate

Just know that you'll be battling the winner of the battle between Banned From Television and Andy2Xtreme.

Pretty much. They in no way, shape or form dictate what type(s) you are limited to as the Main Event has the exact same rules as the preliminaries except it's best 2 out of 3 battles and losing equals direct elimination. The winners of each battle in the group are going to battle each other to "represent" the group in the final round robin. So pretty much if you defeated Banned For Television, you will next need to battle Nitrox Dragon and defeat him to get into the finals.
