Sai took in a deep breath as his foot lazily touched down on the edge of a rooftop that stood not that far from the battle raging on. So this was what was causing all the commotion? Some freaky, little girl. A sigh passed through the man's lips as his eyes took in the scene for a moment before turning skywards. The girl's head slowly turned to face the Kazekage, a dull grin spreading across her lips as the blood from her body and cloak began to raise up at a strange quantity. With in moments a large glob of blood hung high above the building as the girl shook with laughter. With another screech, the girl swung her arm and with her cape reacting along with her, a large ripping wave of blood was sent at Kentaru as the glob of blood came crashing down onto the building. He watched as she made her move. A big glob of blood. She was throwing a big glob of blood at him. That was annoying, and disgusting and several other adjectives that he was sure that he was going to come up with later when he had to write out the report on this monster...ha, like he was really going to be the one who wrote out the report on the battle with this monster. That was definitely an Akane kind of job. She liked that kind of paperwork, didn't she? Meh, even if she didn't, she was the kind of person who'd end up doing it, and he was fine with that. After running his mind over the various things that he could do to deal with this situation at the speed of light he quickly discovered that all of his attacks were of the 'all or nothing' variety. He really didn't have anything in his arsenal for dealing with this sort of thing on an even playing field, and that was actually more frustrating than anything that this monster girl could throw at him. He had been reminded that this wasn't the sort of thing that he could just cut the head off of so that they could study it later, and then he had realized that it was apparently too weak for him to battle to a standstill with one-eyes sword without tearing the poor monster a new one (which was going to produce more blood, which probably wasn't a wise idea anyway), or there was the option of shooting at a train with a b.b. gun, and really, that wasn't going to help anyone either. She had definitely dodged his attempt to grab her (and that was incredibly frustrating in its own right). Perhaps he was putting too much thought into this. In any case, at the moment the best option that had come to mind was the option of not being where he was right now, an option that he very much liked, after all, the best defense was not to be there. As Oasis healed Notwen's arm, she said something that startled him. "I think... she's coming." The orange-haired boy looked at her in disbelief. That monster girl up there was dangerously strong. The last thing any of them needed was for her to come into the building. Then Notwen's heart sank. The smell of blood permeated through the holes in the ceiling, and it smelled like a lot of it. " Oasis, you weren't followed, were you?" he asked. Notwen heard a great volume of liquid slide across the roof, then almost immediately something huge struck the roof, which began to collapse. Small trickles of blood began to pour from the widening cracks. " Run!!" Oasis shook her head "I do not believe I was followed, I..." she stoped when something suddenly went wrong. She felt a massive movement of fluid, her glowing blue eyes flashed upwards at the ceiling, then it hit, a mass of liquid hit the roof with great force and without a second thought she went on pure instinct and dove out the window her feet just barely touching the edge of the planter she remained for only a moment as she glanced back to check on Notwen before vaulting from the window, she saw Notwen attempt the same but get held back by something? and then he was caught by the attack. "Damn, this is bad." she states as she clung to her new location and looked in on the situation trying to decide what was the next best course of action. Men, women, children, and infants rose from the blood, squirming and bubbling their way toward the orange-haired boy. Notwen adopted a combat stance. " Ok blood people. Take one more step closer to me and you all get it!" The infants launched themselves at him, their arms turning into curved blades. " Oh, behave!" He covered his hands in thermal energy and began swatting away the bloody pests, which dissolved back into pools of blood. Once Notwen had taken care of the infants, he turned around to find himself staring at a huge obese man. The creature swung it's huge arm at Notwen, who jumped onto it and ran up it's length. " Get out of my WAY!!" In his right hand he formed a red Calormen with a white core, and rammed it into the man's face, which exploded. The way to the window was finally unblocked. Notwen turned around and snapped his finger, creating a Will-o'-Wisp that was intended to keep the other blood people from coning up behind him again. Once through the window, Notwen reunited with Oasis. Kenta narrowed his eyes at the sticky blob that seemed to be holding him down. This was a pain in the a**, and much more trouble than it was worth. He wasn't actually sure why he had listened to what Oasis had told him about keeping this little blood girl alive. He had thought that he wasn't going to have any trouble with a task like that. Once he got out of this sticky goo he was going to cut off her head and then put it on the end of a pike or something and tape it to the front gates. Why had he held back anyway? This girl was in every definition of the word, a monster. Monsters didn't need to be treated the same way as humans. He didn't need to show restraint. Based on the way that she was talking like she didn't know what the hell was going on, he doubted that they'd be able to get any information from that sort of thing either. He narrowed his eyes dangerously. He had done all of this holding back and it was going to be for nothing. His fingers curled into tight fists and he started his struggling against the sticky goo that was obviously meant to hold him in place. It wasn't going to be successful for long. He was going to tear out of this and then cut up that little girl. After that he was going to write up his report and talk about how much of a pain in the a** she was, and how it totally was not worth all of this effort for the tiny little bit of information that they might get out of her. The feminine voice that cut through the air was something that Kenta couldn't ignore. It was a voice that he knew all too well. It belonged to the kind of person who would tell him that he needed to hold back so that they had a live specimen to study, or so that they could try and interrogate this difficult little monster girl to get information that she didn't have out of her. He really wasn't sure that he wanted to hear such a voice at this particular time. " Lord Kenta!" Hadn't he told Akane that she needed to stick around with Fuyu? Where was he if she was here? He hoped that she hadn't just left him somewhere. Didn't she know that guy was blind? Well, he was probably tired of everyone looking down on him just because he couldn't see. He had managed to get as far as he had without needing to be able to see, hadn't he? Just like Kenta was going to tear out of this goop and lay the most colossal beatdown on this blood monster that anyone had ever seen. As he let out his battle cry roar, his fists coming up above his head and tearing down to either side, there was a splash of the gooey goop as it tore away from him, leaving him in relatively the same condition that he had been in before he had been stuck to the roof with it. Well, that wasn't true. It had left him in pretty much the same physical condition, but as far as mental conditions were, he had lost his cool. It was actually a bit of a tragedy really. He had been working so hard on being calm, cool, and collected, and he had been going to approach this situation with that same attitude, the same attitude that he had shown towards Sai. He had been going to be a good guy, and he had been going to capture this creature alive. Now he was not. He had felt the bubbling of rage well up inside of him, a rage that had been there since his last defeat. He had gotten beaten up once already, and he had just about gotten beaten up here by not taking this stupid monster seriously enough. He was tired of having to hold back. She was a blood monster? Time to let out a little bit more blood. His feet slid over the rooftop. Normally they would have kicked dust up as he moved into his fighting stance, but this time everything was coated in the thick red goo. His eyes narrowed as he readied his sword, " I'm fine, Akane. I think it's just about time to give this monster girl the spanking that she wanted." His fingers gripped the handle of his sword tightly. One strike was all it was going to take.

From her current position Oasis was able to see her KazeKage break free from the strange blood attack as it had crashed down on the roof, she took note that Notwen was able to break free also, she was pleased that he was able to get free without need for any help but obviously the attack had injured him. She paused for a moment where she was crouched at and then dropped down and kicked off the wall to go through the window again. "Notwen... your hurt again." she states shaking her head lightly, it was to be expected though, the monstrous attacks coming from that girl were immense. "Hold still for a moment let me patch you up okay." she adds as once again she worked up her medical ninja focus. Her hands glowed some with the healing chakra and she put her hands on him for a moment and healed his wounds. Sai yawned lightly and shook his head in boredom, "Blood manipulation... Reminds me of that old legend of Jin Uchiha. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some connection between the two... Jin's origins was this very same country." The man spoke aloud to himself as he delegated his thoughts over the battle that was going on. A small smirk played across his features as he watched Kentaru. The boy had finally fallen to his anger and was going to become serious, maybe he was capable enough to lead his country. At very least, this small monster was certainly nothing difficult to him. The small girl screeched again as chakra pulsated from her body and the blood that surrounded the area rose up and stabbed into Kentaru and Notwen's bodies. It wasn't that much, but it was damage and blood... More blood. Notwen winced as the blood dug into his flesh again. He glared at the naked girl, who was now annoying him with her constant shrieking. " Oasis, Lord Kenta, we have to finish her now, because the more we get hit, the more blood she'll have to attack us." Without waiting for a reply from either, Notwen broke cover and attacked. Weaving seals as fast as he could, the boy released a corrosive fireball. Girl's head quickly snapped to the direction of Notwen as he preformed his seals. With a cold snuff she turned her head away to face Kentaru again. She wanted this man's blood more now... The other one was nothing but an insignificant fly now that would only cause harm to himself. The moment his seals were finished and the fire ball was released, it would reach no farther then a foot or two before an orb of blood would encase it. With a violent, crushing force, the blood would douse the flames before striking out to stab at Notwen's face and body. Ijin the sensor that was with Hatsuma's little entourage explained calmly gazing across the village though it was behind the massive wall. His eye's were an unnatural white and he was often mistaken for a hyuuga as a result of that combined with his sensing abilities. "We must assist then as best to our abilities since it's likely that there will be a conflict at hand." Hatsuma stated bluntly as she began to approach the door to the village. "unfortunately we cannot enter the village, the nomads have a code to follow." Ijin explained calmly giving a bow to Hatsuma causing the other three shinobi to follow suit. stand again he pulled a small piece of parchment out and wrote something on it handing it to Hatsuma. "the direction and distance to the chakra bulk from this location, good luck." the shinobi stated before they all performed synchronous hand seals and vanished in a flurry of sand. "very well then... I better hurry... " Hatsuma stated calmly to herself unsure about her usefulness as a shinobi at this point in time. She rushed through the gates and along the vacant streets as what would be required of the citizens in case of an invasion of any sort. after some quick vaults over a few buildings she was within range of the battlefield. She likely couldn't ge a surprise attack on the opponent but she'd see what she could do.

This was all pissing him off. The fact that the creepy blood girl had shown up in the first place pissed him off. The fact that Notwen was running around like he had a chance of beating it and like he was king of the world and everyone should follow what he was saying was pissing him off. The fact that they now way too many people staring at this stupid monster and he had been told not to kill it was pissing him off. He was in no mood to deal with this creepy little girl anymore. He also knew that there was no information that was going to come from her, and that nothing that they could do in the area of torture was going to make her talk if she was excited about getting a spanking. It was all just so stupid and made him so angry. This was a fight that he had decided to step into in the first place mostly to make up for the fact that he had lost an earlier battle, and to show that Notwen kid that the fact that he was losing to this creepy monster girl. He could end it all, and he was going to. His sword came up and shifted in his hand again, twisting forms in the same way that it always did with all of its black smoke effects. Finally it was in his hands as the large scythe. He narrowed his eyes and pulled it back, thinking for a moment that perhaps he should apologize to Oasis about the fact that they weren't going to be taking this girl alive. Well, things happened. With that, the scythe cut through the air, aiming to cut through the creepy naked blood girl as well. And then her body slowly began to sink into itself. Her skin melted and her muscles and bones dissolved until she too was only another pool of blood that slowly leaked into the rooms below from the cracks of the roof. Vyrin opened his mouth to cheer on the Kazekage's success in defeating the monster but he quickly stopped as a jolt of fear ran through his body with a single touch on his shoulder. Wide eye he turned to face Sai's cold face as the man stood beside his with his hand firmly gripped on to his shoulder. Gritting his teeth and taking a hard, heavy breath, the boy turned back to look upon the scene as a few drops of water mixed in with the raining blood. Within a few moments the sky was dark and gloomy with storm clouds as the rain poured heavily onto the Village Hidden in the Sands... Oasis went still as she felt it, a strong force and a collision. She jumped back and out the window clambering up the wall she came up just in time to see the girl fall. Oasis turned and looked away from it really preferring to not see a little girl fall in half. She closed her eyes and gently nodded her head, if the Kage chose to kill her, than it must have meant he was unable to subdue her, but had she really been that powerful? She held a hand against her head for a moment as she muttered something foreign, likely a death prayer she had learned from the elder of her village. "So, its done now..." she states quietly as she brought her hands together "It was a necessary end." she adds with a similar somber tone as her hands moved through a few symbols and she turned to face the blood. "Like all things eventually this too will be washed away." she states softly as the blue glow slowly faded from her limbs and her eyes. She finished the seals and from her mouth she released water to wash the blood from the rooftops. Once most of the blood was gone or at least no longer visible she sighed and then looked to her Kage, certainly he would know what they should do next as the sky went dark and the rain began to fall. She turned her attention from the kage and looked up into the sky. It didn't rain here, at least not often. So, was the sky crying as well? She sighed, or was it another thing coming to attack her home. She closed her eyes and held her hands up in the falling rain, at least for now it was a cool water that fell.

Notwen watched as Kenta sliced the girl in half. The two halves of her body tumbled down the mess of blood wires, which were also beginning to lose their strength. He averted his gaze from the pieces of the dead girl. It was Notwen's second time witnessing murder, and even though he could stomach the reality of death, it brought back the painful memory of his own family's demise.
Oasis began mumbling something Notwen didn't understand, then used a water style jutsu to wash away the blood from the roof.
It's over... he thought. The orange-haired boy left the Kazekage and Oasis on the roof, jumping down and landing lightly on his feet on the empty street below. He slowly began making his towards the academy. As he walked, a clap of thunder resonated across the now gray sky, heralding the rain that began falling over the hidden sand village.
Soba saw what happened and tracked his student's path. From the rooftop.
"So he's headed for the academy..." said the chuunin quietly to himself. He didn't need to be close to Notwen to know what he was going through the boy's mind. He remembered how things were on the night that Notwen lost his family, shaking his head roughly to get rid of the images. I'll give him some time alone.
With that, Soba turned and headed home.
Waiting in the darkness of the chuunin's abode, an uninvited masked visitor sat back on the couch facing the door. He had black spiky hair with orange highlighted bangs that ran down both sides of his masked face.
A pair of golden eyes watched the door intently through the white mask's slanted eye slits. Tonight he was going to clean up a mess he had left unattended for nearly three years. 19 Lines
