Tsu waited for a moment for the students to grow silent before starting. "Alright. From the notes here, it looks like this class has been studying the Konsou. Who wants to give me a brief review of what you had gone over?" There was a brief pause before one of the students raised her hand. "Yes," He pointed to the girl near the back.

The student glanced down at her notes for a second before standing up. "One of our main duties is the Konsou. Konsou, or Soul Burial, is the process by which a soul is sent to Soul Society by a Soul Reaper."

Tsu nodded. "Very good. Textbook answer. Now, can you tell me what happens if a Konsou is not done?"
The student's satisfied look quickly left her face as she flipped through her notes. After a few seconds of her not responding, the sub decided to answer for her. "If a Konpaku, a human soul, is allowed to wander around in pain and sorrow for so long, their Chain of Fate corrodes completely and eats a hole in the soul's chest. Anyone know what happens then?" A glance around the room and Tsu could see several hands raise. Instead of calling on one of them, he looked to Haru for the answer. "Haru, got an answer?"

"That's correct." The substitute gave a nod to Haru and began addressing the class once more. "When a human soul becomes a Hollow, we must purify it with our Zanpakuto. Looks like you all will get a taste of this tomorrow. Tess- I mean, Instructor Saotome seems to have gotten permission for a field trip tomorrow. We'll be going to the world of the living. The Kido Corps will section off an area of Karakura Town and release several low level Hollow. You will be split into groups of three. We'll draw lots tomorrow to see who you'll be partnered with. Any questions?"
There were none. Tsu nodded his approval and went back to the lesson.

"The point of the exercise is to show you what happens if we don't do our duties. You all know how to do the Konsou, and when you're drafted into one of the thirteen squads, you'll be expected to do these. And if someone messes up, some of you may be the ones that has to clean it up. Tomorrow, we'll see how much of your training you've paid attention to. You only have a week left. You should be ready."

Tsu turned the page in his notes, ready to start the next part in the lecture when a note tucked into the page caught his attention. Maruchinu, since you are not a full ranked Instructor, you will require a Lieutenant to accompany you on this training exercise as well as one more seated officer. "Huh..." There was no signature and he couldn't make out who's handwriting it was. The fourth seat shrugged it off. He'd just ask Hikari to come along. But who else? Ikkaku? Yumichika? Like they'd be caught dead helping with this. Maybe Renji. He'd have to ask around...

After a while, Tsurabisu finished up with the lecture and sent the students off onto their next class, with the exception of Haru. He had to admit, the academy was a lot harder on this side then being a student. Thankfully, he only had a week of this. "Alright, Haru. You ready? We've got to make a few stops and then go get your Zanpakuto."

"First, we're heading over to the thirteenth squad's barracks. Hikari should be there visiting Captain Ukitake. Then we'll visit Tessa. Apparently, she won't be released until tomorrow. They're trying to make sure that she didn't teach you whatever you did. After that, I'm going to check in with Captain Zaraki. I guess he's going to be your Captain, too."

Datto awoke when the sun was low enough to shine on his face. He abruptly sat up and rubbed his eyes. Shading his eyes with his curved hand, he looked up to see how low the sun had gotten. When he realized how late it was he turned to tell Sora that they better get going only to see that she was no longer there.
"What the-?" Datto scratched his head in befuddlement, "Where did she go off to? Well I'll probably see her later."
Looking at the sky again he started walking towards the class room. "I better to get to class, I don't want to get in too much trouble."
He started to run down the hill towards the school. The farther he went the more speed he gained, until finally he lost his footing and stumbled landing in front of the school door.

"Yeah. Hikari was the one at R&D headquarters. She's also the Lieutenant of squad four. I need ta check on her. After that, we'll see Tessa. I'm sure she'll wanna to know you got out okay..." Tsu noticed someone laying on the ground right outside the main gates of the academy. "Well well well... If it isn't Datto. Day one with me and you already skipped my class. We'll talk about your punishment later. Get to class. Now." Tsu turned away from the clumsy student and started on his way to the thirteenth division.

Tsu could feel that his charge was falling behind and momentarily thought about heading on without him. Bad idea. The Old Man would probably have his head. Instead, the blue haired Soul Reaper paused, allowing Haru to catch up. "You know, you fall behind like that again and Soi Fon won't hesitate to have you snatched up. You do realise that we're being followed, eh?" Without another word, Tsu began walking again. It wouldn't be long until they were at the barracks.

Tsu didn't feel the need to respond. Haru new what would happen now if he wandered off.
After a few moments of walking, Tsu wondered if Ukitake would be up to this much company. He knew that Yuu would be there, and Hikari too. Most likely those idiots Kiyone and Sentaro as well. And Captain Kyoraku, if Ukitake was feeling up to it. No, it wouldn't be a good idea for them to stop by just yet. Instead, they turned toward the eleventh division. "Hurry, and try to keep up." With that, Tsu used his Flash Step to dart off in the direction of his own Barracks.
