 Not long after he’d showered and had a nice cup of tea, Nigel began to feel restless and had begun to wander back to the obstacle course again. Why he’d bothered to shower was anyone’s guess, since he had just put his muddy clothes back on anyway.
As he reached the challenge Nigel watched as his fellow campers made their way through the course and shrugged. He might as well give it another go. What harm could it do after all?
Dropping to the ground he found himself crawling through the mud for the second time that day.

Nigel heard a loud ripping sound and quickly turned round to investigate. His pants, his ONLY remaining pair of pants were caught on the wire and starting to tear. Frantically he fought to get his pants free; sighing deeply when he succeeded with only a small hole.
Pulling himself out of the obstacle, Nigel made his way back to the start to do it over again.

After making it through the mud Nigel made his way over to the cliff face and starting climbing. The notches were still just as hard to grip as the last time and his paws, claws and various other body parts scrapped against the rock as he slowly pulled himself up the wall.

He’d made it up the cliff! Again! Considering he was fairly scrawny and upper body strength was exactly his forte, Nigel wasn’t doing so badly at this.
Wandering over to the gator pond Nigel smiled at the alligators, “Hallo there! Remember me?” he asked cheerfully as he took hold of the rope, “Sorry I can’t stay and chat, gotta get through the rest of the course first unfortunately” taking a few steps back, Nigel gripped tightly onto the rope and confidently swung out over the water.

Confidence getting the better of him, Nigel looked down mid-swing, just as an alligator had leapt out of the water and was snapping at his rear end. With an unmanly streak, Nigel let go of the rope and went tumbling into the water. Frantically splashing about as he came up for air.
He chuckled nervously as he came nose to nose with one of the hungry alligators, “Oh err…hallo” he said nervously as he inched towards the waters edge, quickly grabbing onto the rope and swinging out across the water again before the gator could snap him up.

Finally making over the gator pond in one piece, Nigel hurried over to the ball pit and without hesitation began to slowly inch across the log. The irritated beavers were slapping at him with their tails and he was very nearly hit in the head with a seagull but he was determined to get across.

He made it! On his first try this time too. Nigel dusted himself off as he looked back at the course. He wasn’t too sure if he wanted to give it another go…at least, not just yet. He felt he deserved a nice cup of tea and a rest after all that; it would give him a chance to think it over anyway.

Eliazuli narrowed her eyes at the wire crawl with grim determination. She had horribly screwed up during the last challenge and she was going to make up for it. Even if it killed her! Well, maybe not kill her. She'd settle for badly injured.
She got onto her belly, unmindful of the mud that smeared all over her shirt as she crawled. She kept her tail pressed flat to the ground as she maneuvered her way to the other side. She emerged with minimal damage to her clothes and herself.

Elli didn't seem uncomfortable with the mud clinging to her clothes and fur. Even as she eyed the cliff towering before her followed by the mattresses strewn about, the aspiring pirate just cracked her knuckles and began her ascent. She was careful in her climb, making certain she had a firm grip and a proper foothold as she made her way to the top.
Finally she pushed herself up and reached the peak. She wanted to release a triumphant cheer until she saw... the Gator Pits.

Elli steeled herself for this leg of the challenge. She wasn't going to turn tail like some cowardly land lubber! She was going to face the gators head on! Preferably after she landed on the other side.
Unfortunately, the gators had other plans as one of them managed to catch the rope and shake the aspiring pirate loose. There was a lot of flailing, a lot of splashing and Elli was back where she started at the Gator Pit.

Elli shook the water out of her fur as best she could. The mud hadn't completely washed off, rather it had just spread all over her clothes. She made another attempt over the gator pit, and soared past the gators. Except her landing fell short.
More splashing. More flailing. Elli was not happy with the way things were turning out over at the gator pit.

What was it with Elli and gators? This was getting to be embarrassing and dangerous! This leg of the challenge was making her look like the very same dead weight she had raged about in the confessional cam! Even now as the gators once again managed to grab her and yank her from success.
She fought back this time and managed to get in a couple of swift kicks at the reptiles before she crawled back onto the starting point.

Surrender never once occurred to Elli as a viable option. She was still standing wasn't she? Albeit drenched and shivering (that water was cold!) and looking like she'd never known what being dry was like. Elli was no quitter and once more she swung on the ropes.
This time managing to avoid the jaws and timing her release just right. "ARRRRRR!!! Take that ye scurvy reptiles!" she yelled, and pumped a paw into the air.

Elli studied the last leg of the obstacle course with a critical eye. She attempted to form a strategy as she studied the beavers, the log and the dreaded seagull gun. While an idea brewed in her head, she wrung her clothes and fur as best she could. No sense in being weighed down by being water-logged, aye?
Finally, she knew what she had to do. Eliazuli bolted without caring who or what she charged into. And, to her astonishment, it worked!

What was this? Eliazuli had made her way back to the beginning for another run!? Well, she felt she had something to prove and this was her way of proving it. Like the first time through, Elli crawled her way under the wires, not caring how sweaty and muddy she would be afterward. And like her first time through things went without a hitch.
