Luo nodded, "Really, it is our swordsmanship, not our swords that is the basis of our power, that's why we're granted the ability to channel our capabilities into unique swords. These rings are only used in times of absolute peril, a literal last resort. That's why no one knows about these other then past and current kages. They are just an added boost to our power."

Matsuya nodded. "Of course. That was expected. Everything these days seems to be a last resort. First Sephiroth returns, then Zane fakes his death, and now we have these rings of unfathomable power." He shrugged. "Not that Im complaining. I could always use a little more power in a fight. I have three.... no, four swords now, and I still could use an edge." He ran his hand over each of his blades. "These rings, you said they each have powers. Any specifics?"

LT grunted as he heard to Luo said about the rings. "They all look ugly, except the one in the top right." LT shrugged and began to run around again, bearing through the pain was one thing that he was good at, but this was just annoying as hell. He decided to change up the track a little bit so he ran straight down the middle of the room up the wall and across the ceiling and down the opposite wall with out using any chakra. He could tell a difference in his speed, he could tell that at first he was getting slower but now much faster. "Hey Matsuya, how were the exams?"

MAtsuya merely grunted at LT. He wasnt in the mood to talk about it at the moment. He put his hand on Shinsou, pulling it out of the scabbard. It doesnt look like much. But if Jima's right, it could be more powerfull than most blades. He was thinking to himself, watching the wakazashi move through the air. "Shoot to kill, Shinsou." He muttered the command Jima had told him to say. The blade erupted in a shining light. It shot all the way across the room, stabing itself into the wall. Matsuya hadnt moved a bit from the entire thing. His eyes were wide open. "My God!" He pulled the blade back, pulling his chakra from it. It returned to its normal form, that of a wakazashi. He looked at the blade. "Such power in such a small blade. That's interesting, that's very interesting."

Watching the blade extend and go by him, Luo let out a small sigh as he heard it pierce the wall. "Please try not to do that too much Matsuya. And no, no specifics on the rings other than the jutsu they can grant each user having something to do with the character on the ring." He then looked at LT. "Stop grumbling, you get the one that fits your character."

"Matsuya, I believe I taught you better," Blade told him as he sighed. "Like luo said, it is not the sword, but the man...the sword is an extension of the man, says so in the Mist Standard Swordstyle," Blade stated as he walked up to Luo. "So in other words, the we have to train with the rings AND the stage 8. Talk about a challenge. Oh well, couldn't have come at a worse time. I've been hearing...chatter...if you will," Blade told them. "And it's not good. We need to get stronger in order to surpass our limits."

Matsuya sighed, sheathing Shinsou. "I didn't know what it did. My bad." He looked at the rings again. "The one that matches our personality, huh? And what would that be, for me?" He looked the rings over and over again. But he couldnt even guess. He himself didn't knoww what his personality really was. He lived it everyday, it became normal, unoticable to him.

"Sorry," Zane chuckled as he streteched his muscles out. "Oh and it seems I'm kinda getting better at this," Zane stated as he moved his hand, at such speed that it seemed as if he had three of them. "Wow, once you get past the pain, it almost seems natural, just a bit to go," Zane grinned. "Well you mind handing out the rings already buddy?" Zane asked him eagerly. He was cautious when it came to the rings, as they possesed immense power. Suprisingly he had taken a page out of Luo's handbook and was patient, trying to learn more about the rings before putting it on.

Sighing, Luo picked up the ring in the middle, tossing it to Matsuya. "Ring of the Oni for he who is strong-willed. Strong beyond strong, undefeatable with the right tools. Behind his face is a demon in waiting, one of his horns protruding from the ring. Don't fail me with the power of this ring Matsuya, and never remain as hard headed as the horn which adorns it. It is with our respect that you will truly earn your other horn."
Luo then picked up the ring on the bottom with three sixes, tossing it out to his closest friend. "The mark of the beast for the demon of the mist. Ferocity and viciousness in battle are usually what this ring pertains to. When your blade moves, demons cry out. The mention of your presence moves mountains, and depicts the coming of hell on earth. Use your power for noble purposes, and think before you act. Your mind can be just as powerful as your strike."
Picking up the ring on the top left with a slight chuckle as it appeared to be in the exact opposite position of the one he wanted, he tossed it to LT. "The all seeing eye for he who sees everything. The sting of your piercing gaze can cut through the very soul of a man. The ring you possess is closer in nature to you than you think Tares. Do not look at an items beauty to measure its power."
Picking up and tossing the ring on the top right to Blade, Luo spoke to the man. "The ring of growth for he who plants the seeds of the future. With the vines of a thorny exterior, not many see that even you are comprised of water, and human as well. You have perfected your movement amongst the other shrubs through time, and as such have reached heights of true knowledge over your own field and domain, unparalleled. Those who face you dare not make the same movement twice, as you have the capability to adapt to it and rise above it. Just be sure to remember those below you always."
Tossing the ring on the right to Rein, Luo smiled a bit. "The apparition, for the one often devoid of outward emotion. The face of the angered oni within the ghostly flames embedded into the ring depict the fire of emotion burning underneath the surface. It is that fire that will fuel your power, and the face of that apparition that leaves your movement and attacks unseen, unheard, and unnoticed by others. You are the ghost of terror. Never disappear from the sight of the ones you love again."
Picking up the last ring, Luo placed it onto his own finger as he cradled the box under his arm. "The ring of Orochi for he who's mind cannot be contained in one figure. The depiction of the mythical eight headed serpent is a symbol of his cunning, wit, and might. As the story depicts, his wrath and cunning may only be superseded by a god. In his own head lies the thinking power equated to the great sword Kusanagi, and in his hand lies its fury. As his tongue flicks, his beguiling voice is headed always. Let this power never rise to my head, and let my words speak action."
Looking up at his men, he noticed the way they stood was the order of the rings in the box. It was a sign to Luo that he had made the correct decisions in choosing who was given which artifact.

In a quick flash, LT set up the camera and took a picture of everyone. This would be a memory that would last a life time, perhaps more. He took the ring of the "all seeing eye," and was weary to put it on. He just held it in his hand. LT decided he would wait for some one else to put it on to see what would happen. "Dont call me a coward, just call me safe. So you dont know the power of the rings? Then how are we suppose to use them and and train with them?" After several seconds of staring at the ring he muttered a thank you to Luo.

Matsuya caught the ring. He stayed emotionless as LT snapped the picture. He didnt want to be remembered as someone who showed emotion so easily. Matsuya looked at the ring, laughing a bit. "Ring of the one-horned oni, huh? Thats interesting." He slipped the ring on his finger. "How exactly are we to train with something this dangerous?" He looked at the ring again, smirking. A demon in slumber, huh? Well, Matsuya was determined to gain both of his horns.

Kane sheathed his katanas and bowed toward Blade as he took the scroll and said, "as you wish". He turned toward the door and left.

Zane grabbed his ring and pocketed it as he thought upon Luo's words. "Hmm...I guess this one really does suit me," Zane stated plainly as he stretched his muscles out. "Well, I gotta get back to training in the swordstyle, I'm almost there..." Zane chuckled as he activated Stage 7 once more. He had enough time to rest as he took off, zooming around the room in a mad dash.

Matsuya sighed. "Well, if you'll all excuse me, Im going home to get some rest. I havent slept since before my exam, and its getting to me. If anyone needs me, you know where my house is." Matsuya pocketed the ring. He left all of his swords in their places and started to walk towards home. He yawned as he exited the facility, his fatigue was truly taking its toll.
