j_hawk Jet Brody Zap also flew off into the sky, heading towards his home. He felt something strange in the air though. It was a shifting of winds and a build up electricity in the air. A sudden change in the weather like that was definitely strange. It was as if someone was purposely conjuring it.
He headed towards the center of the storm, to see what was happening.Rico Stexel
That boy had teleported her out of the way of his attack, but he had expected it. Instead, he punched the head off of a zombie that popped up in front of them before they left. He smirked. 'Punching off a zombie's head... Well, there's a first time for everything.'
He looked up to see the storm above him. This must have been that girls power. He crouched down, turned his legs into springs and shot up towards her. He turned both of his fists into large blades and held them out towards her. Coop Enders
He chuckled as Hikaru warned him. Was he that easily read? Even so, he placed one of his own shadows into a shadow here so he could easily find the place if he ever decided to come back. "No worries, Hikaru, you can trust me," He replied with a look in his eyes that seemed to ask 'Or can you?'.
He looked over at Hikari and thought for a second. "Spaghetti sounds just fine. Thank you," He answered.

Cameron screamed as she saw the blades coming towards her flesh. She sent a gust of wind backwards to fling her body away from him. Her mind spun as her wet hair stuck to her face. She wrapped her fingers around her belt and scrunched her body into a tight ball, letting go of her powers and free-falling towards the ground to pass Rico. She hoped she'd be able to stop in time as the wind rushed past her body and ground came closer.

Jet Brody As he flew toward the storm he saw a figure land atop of a building. It was a shiny reflective figure. "No..." He said as he figured out who it was. Zap recognized him far too easily. It was Rico. Or, Metallo as the masses called him. He never once called himself that or claimed it to be his name. Zap had had lots of encounters with this villain. He was hard to hurt, that was for damn sure. His electricity usually seemed to pack quite a punch to him. The times he was able to hit him that was. If he was around, it meant a serious fight was in store. Every time they had fought before, Zap left severely wounded. If not for his increased bio-electric healing, he would have been dead from the wounds he had received from these encounters.
Thankfully, the villain hadn't seen Zap flying towards him. Zap covered his entire body with electricity and flew towards him, full speed. He smashed into Rico, wrapping his arms around him and zooming towards the ground. They crashed with a great impact, creating a small crater. He grabbed onto the back of his enemy's neck, pumping as much electricity into him before he was forced to stop. Rico Stexel
His target changed her direction and fell to the ground. He kept going forward and landed on top of a building. He turned to look at her, as his hands changed back to their regular shape. She had landed on the ground and was probably realizing where he had landed also.
He raised his arms and dozens of small spikes popped out of his body and floated around him. "Your rain storm is nice. Would you like to see mine?" He asked as he threw his arms down, raining the spikes down on her. He started laughing evilly as something crashed into him from behind him. A severe wave of pain was shot throughout his entire being. The spikes raining down towards Silver dispersed before making contact.
He crashed into the ground, the pain still immersing itself throughout him. What was this? He'd only felt this kind of pain before, but never this harsh. It was from that persistent electric hero, Zap. He morphed his face to the other side of his head, so he could see his attacker. You could easily tell from his face that he was in agonizing pain.
"Let. Go. Of. Me. You. Fool!" He slowly said, taking a long pause between each word. He balled up his fists and punched the ground. Spikes rose up and zoomed toward the hero, who was quickly off of him and next to Silver.
Rico lay on the ground for several moments, breathing in air, trying to regain the strength to stand. He knew that he couldn't die here, but now he wasn't sure if he would win.

Taeko witnessed the whole thing with Rico from behind the lamp post. When he looked as though he was in pain she ran over to the metal man. She looked genuinely concerned for him though she also looked unsure of how to help.. She had no strange powers unlike everyone around her at the moment.. She sat next to the metal man and signed worriedly, Are you alright..?

"Tick, tick, tick, tick..." The slow sound of rain dripping across metal rang through the air as a figure walked slowly down the street, eyes hidden behind a helmet of shadowy metal, black robe hiding most of the figure.
It stopped at a street corner, looking towards a fight a block away, it's right hand raising to touch the lamp-post beside him. For a second he stood there, before the post suddenly snapped, metal shearing away from concrete and slamming down into the road. If someone came across it later, they'd say that the bolts had rusted to the point where the weight of the lamp pulled it down.
Such was luck. Slowly the figure walked forwards, calling out, it's voice a rasp behind the steel mask, "Hello, Heros and Villains. I do not know if you recognize, the voice of Bane, but forever more, I hope that you do. I am Bane."
"Tick, tick, tick, tick..." the rain pinged off of the helmet over the man's face, brilliant blue eyes invisible beneath the armor as he stared out at the group, a cruel smile hidden beneath shadowy steel.

Silver took a glance over at Bane. She'd heard a bit about him from the papers, although she'd never had the pleaure of meeting him in person before. She also glanced at Zap, who was now standing next to her. He was a well known super-hero around the city and she was extremly glad to have him around since Roan had vanished. She took a deep breath and turned back to Rico, who was a pile of metal, a sitting duck, in her opinion on the ground in agony. She took her chance and pulled her sword once again, her muscles more worn this time but still strong. She sprang through the air and positioned her sword to slice of the metal villain's head.

Hikaru glanced at Coop with a sort of irritation in his eyes. The man, clearly, could not easily be trusted, but he knew better than to go against his sister's wishes. After all, the only things he ever did, he did to make her happy. "Yeah, sure," he said in a huffy tone and followed after Hikari into the kitchen. "Do you need help?" he asked her, every so often, side glancing at Coop to make sure he wasn't doing anything he shouldn't.
Hikari smiled and pulled out spaghetti sauce and basil, mushrooms and olives. She liked to make her spaghetti sauce with some extra things in it. She hoped Coop wouldn't mind. "Uhm, can you grab me the noodles? They're in the pantry above the toaster," she said with a nod as she moved over to the stove and pulled out a large pot, filling it with water and putting it on the stove for it to boil. As she waited for the water, she began chopping up the vegetables.
Hikaru did as he was told and placed the two boxes of noodles next to her as he watched her chop veggies. "Be careful," he cautioned as he turned to look at Coop. "You watch television much?" he asked curiously. Usually, he would flip on the news to check out any sort of signs of danger, but he would try, now, to not be so worrisome and to relax.

Bobby walked out of the parking structure and looked up, noticing the rain for the first time. If there was one thing he hated, it was running in the rain. He pretty much got soaked immediately. He saw a slightly damp parka in t5he security booth, and grabbed it before bolting. He moved to fast for the security cameras to see, so the guard would probably think he just lost it. The rain rolled off the slick parka as he ran.

Jet Brody Zap watched as Silver launched herself towards Rico and the girl. It was too quick for him to stop her, but he was sure that girl wasn't evil also.
He knew he was right after Rico's statement to Silver. He dashed over to her, taking a combative stance, ready to fight.Rico Stexel
He nodded his head at her question and slightly propped himself up on his elbows. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw that sword fighter charging at him. He then quickly made himself shoot up, grabbing Taeko and dashing out of the way of the attack.
As he turned to face Silver, a ring of metal formed around Taeko's waist, carrying her away from the battle. Not very far, but enough so that she wouldn't be in the path of danger. "You know, for a hero, you sure didn't think twice about harming a civilian. Did you?" He asked Silver. A small dagger appeared in his hand as he walked slowly towards her. Coop Enders
By the time Hikaru had asked the question, Coop had already been on the couch, TV turned on. As he was flipping through the channels, he turned his head towards Hikaru and said, "Yeah, dude. Love it. They got funny stuff on this thing." He turned his head back towards

Taeko gave a look of relief when the metal man nodded. She held onto the ring of metal when she saw why the metal man had done it. She looked worried, though she looked curious as well as she watched from within the safety of the ring of metal.

"Heh-heh-heh..." A low laugh rippled free of Bane's lips, issuing forth from his helmet in a way that made it clear he found this entire situation amusing. Slowly his right arm came up as he walked closer, before gripping the lamp-post at the corner.
A few seconds of silence as he watched, before the light-bulb above him shorted out, providing more shadows for the area. Slowly, he spoke, "Two... Versus one... Come, one of you heros. Leave the metal man to your ally, and let us make this... A fair fight."
The man raised his left arm, leather-bound book hanging from his wrist on a thick piece of rope, beckoning slowly. His cloak shifted in the dripping rain, covering his forehead and arms more, as if to prevent the rain from pinging off his armor.

He had been running a good 5 minutes when Bobby tripped and almost fell over a fallen lamp post.
"What the hell?" He said to no one in particular as he walked around the corner in awe. There was some sort of super-showdown going on.
"Ho-ly s**t."
Bobby was pretty sure that there was nothing he could do to help, but he couldn't pass up an opportunity like this. How often to you get to see a superhero fight? He ran into a building near the fight, and up the stairs to the roof, where he could watch all the action unfold.

Hikaru shook his head, wanting to laugh. It was a bit funny that Coop had taken so well into their home. Perhaps the man had no worries, and for that, Hikaru, although hesitant to admit it, held admiration for him. In a world as messed up as the one they currently lived in, it was often difficult to be so laid-back and carefree. But, here he was, in an apartment with two of the most laid-back people he had ever met. And neither seemed to care...
Hikari shooed her brother away in a loving manner before returning to her cooking. Perhaps one would not realize she was blind if she were in the kitchen, but she had had enough practice to know where everything was and what to touch and what not to touch.
Therefore, moving over to the pot, she gently slid the noodles in and allowed them to boil, setting a mental timer in her head as to when they should be done. She moved back over to another pot, which she poured sauce into, along with the veggies she had chopped up. Being blind had its set backs, but its perks too. All of her other senses were heightened, which helped a lot, and so she never complained.

Silver rolled her eyes at Bane as she turned to face Rico, ignoring his words and trying to focus on the battle. She tensed her muscles and dove to the ground, rolling along the pavement quickly and sending a strong kick to Rico's hand, which held the dagger. She used her arms to push her body back up and stood in a second, behind him now. Waiting for a only a moment to calculate her attack.

Jet BrodySince Silver had decided to take on Rico, Zap turned to face Bane. He would have rather have wished the fight had gone the other way. He thought that he would have been much more effective against Rico.
He raised his hands, balls of lightning forming from them, emitting light. The guy had destroyed that light bulb above. It was either for a cool effect or he had wanted darkness. He wasn't sure which, but he was going to keep his guard up.

A very good move on the girl's part. The dagger would have gone flying out of his hand, if it weren't connected to him. He turned towards her, holding out the dagger towards her. The blade then extended quickly, aiming to jab her in the shoulder. Coop Enders
He sat on the couch flipping through channels, laughing occasionally at something funny. He thought for a second about why he was there. He could be out doing a job right now. 'Business first,' He remembered hearing from some time long ago.
Here he was though, about to eat dinner with two perfect strangers. Was it a change for him? Yes. Usually, the only fancy dinners he ever went to were ones held when someone wanted to impress him as they hired him. He wasn't the type to be impressed by that though.
So, why was he here? The scent of the cooking food reached his nose. A grin crossed his face. A free meal was a free meal.
