((You didn't have to tell them it was me redface ...*runs from spotlight* ))
Yazira sighed, but whether it was surrender or exasperation it was hard to tell. "I am sorry you treat your colleague's lives so frivolously." She met Emma's gaze steadily and without a trace of doubt. "'Why do I care?' The growing number of fiends, perhaps? The fact that we are the only protection for innocent people yet it seems we are more intent on injuring our own? How about you tell me." She whistled to the stallion and gave it a hand signal. The horse plodded obediently forward. "You're supposed to be a professional, and that's the best you can do?" She turned to go but the horse stopped. Yazira glared at it as it casually ignored her and stepped gingerly to the elevator...and to Malkin.
((She'll melt eventually...))

Kiro sighed. I'm being ignored by both sides of this argument... I guess being here this long I still don't have much reputation at all. Maybe being an assassin was a better living for me. Who knows. Kiro admitted sadly. "I'm going to go sleep somewhere. Come find me if you need me William." Kiro called out to let his partner know. Oh yeah, we have a rookie too. Kiro remembered. "You too rookie." Kiro added with a big sarcastic smile and was then on his way.

((I'm thinking Malkin may need to disappear. I've lost what I intended to do with this guy. xp ))
Malkin walked off angry, and yet, frightened. That was the first time he had openly threatened anyone. The first time he had actually lost himself in his anger. Yet, he was still him. It didn't make sense. He hid himself for fear that anger would best him and he would start killing. If he lost that fear..."Gods help us all." he whispered. Getting a cigarette out shakily, he barely noticed another presence behind him. Looking for his matches, he lit it and took a deep drag, feeling his tension disappear. Hearing the kid speak, he chuckled. "Thanks for the offer kid, but I have someone to talk to about my problems. And she's waiting in my room." Stepping into the elevator, he nodded to the man to go down. He had noticed something about his aura as well. It seemed more...together. Both a good and bad thing. But he wasn't sure which. Poking his chest, he felt the wound healing very quickly. Must have been that monstrous aura girl. Looking up, he noticed the woman and her horse approaching. "The hell...?"

((No, don't get rid of him! He's a really intersting character, and gives my char a lead in to a good side story. Keep him...pleeeease xd Just the horse is going up to Malkin, it ignored Yazira's order. Hey Azure, was that directed at Yazira? I can't tell.))
Yazira called to the animal again and still it went on as if it hadn't heard her. The horse was massive, standing 5 1/2 feet at the shoulder. It stared at Malkin with huge soulful eyes through long waves of raven-black hair. Then, as gentle as a new-born lamb it lowered its great head and pressed it's velvet nose into Malkin's chest.
For the first time in a long while, Yazira could not say a word.

((Kairi, you could always keep Malkin around but put him on the back burner and make a new character. Griffin, you are allowed to make up to two other characters also.))

(Nope, it was directed to Isaac.)
"Well, that's a new one," Train said as the horse touched it's nose to Malkin's chest. His eyebrows shot up and then back down, he was done there. At this point, since Malkin didn't want to talk to him, he just wanted to go back to bed where he was.
Emma didn't announce her answer to Yazira, it was cheeky, and accurate, but it appeared to Emma that the horse basically disarmed the situation. She stepped on the lift next, wanting to go see John to pick up her tuck. She missed the familiar weight. Her rapiers were still held behind her, but the three person limit was there now. Emma wasn't sure how much Matt wanted to take them down, Emma was capable, but she really didn't want to. Of course they couldn't move it with a horse on it. How'd they even get it up there in the first place?

((Kairi, we're really gonna need some input from you soon. Griffin, I just happened to glance at your equipped list and I had to wonder: Why are you riding your chocobo pants less?))
"Malkin," William said, flatly ignoring the actions of Yaziras' horse. "I can't let you go wandering around without an escort. Not now. If we took this to the execs they'd probably want us to put you down. As far I care you're still one of us though, so we're not going to do that. But you've obviously slipped further to the side of the fiend, so I have to insist that be monitored, for your safety as well as everyone else. Some people might not take this in stride the way that we are." William turned to Matt. "Matt, could you take the first shift? You're on his team anyways. We'll have Leroy take a turn as well, and maybe Tyrone."
"Yeah, I got no problems with that." Matt said. "Like you said, we're gonna be workin together anyways. Maybe I can help you with this somehow." He said to Malkin.

((Sorry. Work has been hell to me. As for Griffin not wearing any pants, I think Griffin likes riding rough. lol ))
Malkin looked at the horse poking him in the chest. "Come on, really now?" sighing, he patted the horse on the nose and listened to the two Hunters speak. Shaking his head, started chuckling. "Enough. I am not a fool, I know what I am. But slipping more to the fiend side? You child. There are no 'sides' to what is happening. I'm simply changing." Looking at the elevator man, he made a motion for down. He was tired of this all. It was the villages all over. It was those kids, those adults, it was everyone all over again. Everywhere he went, he was a monster. He came to the Corps to have himself killed. When the founder said that he could fight instead, he was happy. He could die for something good. And now, in one moment of desire, his life was falling apart. Stupid fiends.

"I understand that you're simply changing, Malkin." William said. "But taking into account the source of that change you should understand why I'm wary. It's just a precaution. Honestly, I don't feel that it is necessary. Look at it from my point of view. If I were the one that were changing, would you risk letting me roam freely and possibly hurt the people here? no matter how much of a remote possibility you might think it would be? I hope not. I hope you'd have me guarded, for the sake of all the other people here." William turned to Matt. "Stay with him."
Matt waved a hand at William, dismissing his orders. "No need to act all commanding here, Will. I would've taken to watching the guy without your suggestion." Matt turned to Malkin. "Let's go, man. Get us some rest. We're gonna be team members anyways, so it might be a good thing for us if we spend a bit o' time together. Get to know each other a little."

'Stay with him?' Are they ******** serious? Malkin remained silent, taking off his coat and deftly slicing it, he formed a hood. Putting it back on, he tugged his new hood up over his head hiding his horns and eyes. "Should have done this a long time ago." he muttered to himself. Picking up his dual blade he had set on the elevator floor, he stared at it. He needed to change himself. He could tell that he would not be able to wield his dual blade or twin swords any longer. His style was different.
((Sorry it's short. I think I need to change Malkin a bit. Characters are supposed to evolve, lol, so this is my lame way of revamping him a bit and making him more controllable. Let me know if this is a No-No Stoic.))

Matt walked up to Malkin, draping one arm over his partners shoulders and slid the gate to the elevator closed. "C'mon, it's high time we beat a retreat." He said, his typical grin on his face. "Take us down, guys." He said to the crank men. And they did just that, disengaging the locks and lowering the elevator to the ground floor.
As the elevator carrying Malkin and Matt descended out of view the one on the opposite wall rose up into place. A man in the uniform and armor of the Corps. exited the elevator and walked up to the group of Hunters that were still arrayed there.
"Excuse me, Sirs." The guard said as he stopped in front of them. He offered a salute. "I have an order here directing a restructure of the squads for The Corps." He handed the sheet of paper to the closest person to him, Isaac, saluted, and left.
"Again..." William said. He walked over to stand next to Isaac and read the sheet, over his shoulder, aloud. "Team 1: Emily, Gene, and Tia. swapped out that other new kid I guess. Team 2: Train, Enyo, and Tyrone. Man, Ty'll be pissed. He specifically asked never to be assigned a new team. Team 3: Matthew, Malkin, and Yazira. Ha, looks like you're gonna have to get used to working with Malkin now, Yazira. Team 4: William, Kiro, and Isaac. Nice, ours is the only team that stayed the same. Man, those execs just can't make up their minds, can they?"
((I believe William, Isaac, Kimiko, Kiro, and Yazira are still there. I know Kiro was leaving, but had not yet. I think the same might be true of Emma.
Kairi, that's completely fine. Malkin is different than he was before, an alteration to his combat style would be expected.
I should point out that while The Corps. is directly funded and operated by Caliverts military it is not actually a part of it. The Guards are military, as are the execs. And most of the other personnel are militarily employed, though the Hunters and Guardians are not. Unless they were part of the military first. There are 8 ranks in the Calivert Military: Cadet, Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Colonel, Brigadier, General, and Marshal. The Hunters and Guardians hold an unofficial rank between Captain and Major, that is why the Guard referred to them as Sirs, and saluted them.))

(( scream Real cowboys don't wear pants!!! xd ))
Yazira waited until Malkin stepped away from the horse before going to retrieve its bridle. She was about to go when the soldier came to deliver the new team lists. She patted the horse gently on the nose and gave William a half smile. "It seems you haven't been listening. Its not Malkin I will have to get used to working with." And with those words she lead the animal away.
She had not gone far when a soft whine alerted her to a large black dog poking its thick muzzle out from an open door. "Shoba! What are you doing in there?" She dropped the horse's bridle and knelt to summon the dog with open arms. "The kitchens again? That cook spoils you rotten. I shall have to have a word with him." The dog licked its lips and Yazira sighed. "Well, I see you've had a better day than I have...I can't seem to stop making new friends!" She stood up and lead the horse back to the stables. "Where do they get off injuring the boy that much huh?" She questioned the dog angrily. "But I don't know enough to assume...maybe they were just defending themselves...I shouldn't have flown off the handle like that." She gathered a handful of grooming tools off a shelf and proceeded to tie the stallion in its stall and brush its sleek, black coat. "Now they think I hate him...just like everybody else it seems." Shoba listened to his master's voice intently from his straw-filled corner. "Well this horse likes him, and if an animal trusts him it certainly means something..." Shoba yawned and lay his head down, falling asleep as Yazira continued to speak her thoughts into the still air.

(( Ooo, Tia is in there. I should actually do her backstory then. >.> ))
Kiro quickly made his exit without being noticed much at all. "Man higher ups are really annoying..." Kiro mumbled as he made his way back into the cafeteria. He sat down at one of the tables, facing backwards so he was outward towards the doors and leaned back in a sort of stretching fashion.
Drawing the katana on his right side he held it out in front of himself and looked deep into the steel with a lazy, yet depressing look in his eyes. Feels like something is going to happen soon...
