Daredevil felt his club snag something and knew he had the right target. "You're not!" he growled as he yanked back on the club to pull Psycho-Pirate towards him. At the same time he lept forwards with a scisor kick to meet him. He needed to try and take the guy out before he could make any more phantoms. //Um, I haven't been paying attention to other posts either. I don't think anything's changed with your characters Lyn. People have kinda gone to Psycho-Pirate or Sinestro, 'Pirate being the one causing the most trouble at the moment. //

anyway...
Flying up out of the hole, Sinestro say two annoying things: that although Canery seemed possesed, she was being held back by the Sentry, and since her altered emotional state would not last forever, she would easily be able to tell him her plan once her sencese were regained, and that the Psycho-Pirate had been captured. The fool couldn't be left alone for 2 minutes without screwing up, and what about the protective aura...oh, he'd stopped thinking about it-that was why. Odd-Sinestro was never absentminded... Anyway, letting Haden get kicked, Sinestro created a momentary protective aura around Canery, expanding it enough to force the Sentry's arms open just a little so Canery would be dropped, then quickly cancelling it one she was free of his grip and encasing her in a chute that would land her near the two red-clad men. Then he engaged Sentry, to distract him.
Poor 'Pirate-Roger had a KILLER migrane from using his powers so much and so often, his side and chest hurt from getting beaten, and the Medusa Mask was itself unhappy-their sybiotic relationship was not currently aiding it's own agenda. Things never went well for Hayden when the Mask was displeased...

//I'm gonna try to keep this going...hopefully people will come back soon...// Daredevil senced something happening with Canary and Sentry. Canary was comming back, and still in a rage. He needed to take out Pirate now and hopefully end whatever effect the mask had on her. He grabbed Psycho Pirate by the back of his costume and tried to leap farther away from Canary, bringing Pirate with him. Worse came to worse, he could use the guy as a shield and maybe one of her punches would do the job for him.

(hey, i've just been waiting for someone to show back up!)
[color yellow]Sinestro shot a seemingly random blast at Sentry's forhead-but it was really a cover for a subliminal command that the gold and blue-clad hero should not attack, or follow, Sinestro...for any resion. Even, if using such a trick now was a repitition...[color yellow]
something's wrong with the color-wording!

Sentry sidestepped the blast and smiled a cold smile. "Nice tr.." That wasn't his intention Robert, he's trying to mess with the back of your mind.
"You really don't want too delve to deep in there." If I lose control.. you're all dead."
Sentry rushed at lightning speed bringing himself behind Sinestro, he reached out his hand and blew and mid range solid light blast towards Sinestro's back from close range.
"This needs to end."

She felt the blonde man drop her, the ground sent a jarring bolt through her body. She came up even angrier than before but this time the anger was all directed at Psycho-Pirate. Scanning the roof top she saw Daredevil holding Psycho-Pirate and he was looking suspiciously like a punching bag. She flew at the pair her fist raised to deliver a vicious left hook. {Yay! people are back!}

Of course that had not worked...repeating oneself is not conductinve to success-how could I have forgetten that!? Sinestro wondered incredulasly, dodgeing the sentry in midair as an earth mattadore might a raging bull. As he did so he caught sight of the Psycho-Pirate, struggling against the other red-clad meta, caught in his own trap...wait...that was it! Haden HAD altered Sinestro's mind-breacked their agreement! Oh, and now he would PAY! But no resion not to include yet anouther square-jawed, blonde, muscle-bound earther clod in that..none at all. Done with avoidance, Sinestro mentally charged at the Sentry, grabbing at the mans fears, this Void he paranoidly and futiley tries to staunch, with his ring-determined to rip them to the surface! He poured all concentration into the task, useing the autopilot feature of his ring to stay aloft, and out of the Sentry's reach...

Hayden, meanwhile, was sqwirming and trying very much NOT to be a meat-shield. And with Canery charging at him...that'sd be really bad if he were! He had to think of something-he-yes! Fear! Terror! Mortal Dread-he'd pour it on her psyche, enough to drown even that sad sack Paraiah! The mask reformed once again...

She was in a near blind rage but after years of martial arts she kept her mind rational. Her eyes caught as the mask was about to shift and she quickly shut her eyes relying only on her sense of hearing and that weird sixth sense that warriors have in battle. {you know the one that makes the hair on your neck stand up when a sword is about to slice off you're head} She hoped that the man in red had enough sense to figure out she was going after Psycho-Pirate and hold him still.

Daredevil could sence her comming at them, but for some reason, didn't feel that she was after him again. Wouldn't matter much if she was, not with the Pirate still caught and between them. "Sorry, but I gave you the chance to cooperate." he said, keeping Psycho-Pirate in front of him and now standing his ground.

The Sentry dropped to his knees, he knew the presence that was starting to overwhelm him. This man, whoever he was, was making a terrible mistake.
"You need to stop what you are doing, if the void comes you are dead, we all will be."
The Sentry put his hands to his head. "NO I cant let this happen!" The Sentry clenched his teeth and made a fist with his hand. "When you face your fear as much as I have, you learn the only way to fight it is with strength. The void is something none of us can deal with."
He knew this would be his only chance before he lost control, he fired off a few blasts to keep his attention and flew with a speed unnoticeable by the naked eye behind the man and grabbed him by the neck. He knew now that even if the void would take over this pink man would be the first one that the void crushed.
"If... you don't.... stop this now... this will be your last breath. Know now the the void... the void... will not even give you this chance."
Sentry could feel his control slipping and he was hoping this would work, if it didn't the entire world could be in danger.
