//ooc: I'd like to take this moment to appologise ahead of time. I got way too carried away with this. XD
And I'm sorry if anything offends anyone. Wanted her to be mouthy and it just so happened that I had my favorite joke book from the library handy. There are a ton more, but I'm saving them for Kingpin or something. XD //
Sholeh popped onto a rooftop near where one of her transporters had been. Or at least where she sensed one was. She glanced down over the rooftop and found a little red-head girl walking down the street. Ok, so this one just teleported the girl. There’s nothing lying around so she shouldn’t have to worry about this place. Hm…should she take the girl back to wherever she’d been before? Then again she hadn’t been paying much attention to where people were at before, and this was one of the duplicating girls, so it was hard to tell where she was at before. Actually…this girl was the original, wasn’t she? Eh, maybe she should just take this one straight home. Or at least what she considered a home._-+-_-~*~-_-+-_

After a few moments of walking, Rosie had managed to calm herself down. Though now she was annoyed that no one had found her yet, or the fact that she didn’t see anyone out and about. Didn’t really blame them though. Stupid storm. Well…nothing to do but try and find her way out of this place or find someplace to stay until the storm passes.
She thought she heard some commotion coming from the other side of the buildings she was walking by, but there was still quite a bit of walking to get around the block. She came upon another alley and decided to see if she could cut through it to get to the other side quicker. As stormy as it was, there shouldn't be any shady characters lurking around in any alleys right now. No one should mess with a little girl anyway. Not like she had any money or anything.
Instead of coming to the end of the alley, she came upon a dead end about halfway through. Nice large brick wall. There were garbage cans, dumpsters and crates around, but nothing she could really climb on to get over the wall. Besides, be a nice drop on the other side to get back down. Rosie sighed and turned to go back. Just going to have to go the long way she thought as she took a few steps forward, then stopped dead in her tracks.
Three figures were walking down the alley towards her. Three men…looked like a bit of an odd combination. One, she couldn‘t tell how old he was. Red hair and beard, tall, and he wore a brown trench coat that covered most of him other than his head and feet. Another was…well he looked like he lived at a Twinky factory or something. She was surprised he could fit in this cramped alley. Dressed up like a thug or something on top of that. Headband, leather jacket, bling and everything…lots of gold as a matter of fact. Well that explains why there‘s a poor third world country somewhere. Last guy was the same as the fat guy, only he was skinny and looked like he
attempted to work out.
She had been wanting someone to find her, but she had a gut feeling that this was the last kind of people she needed to do that.
”You lost there sweetie?” the man with the beard asked as they got closer to her.
”No.” Rosie replied with a small smile.
”I was on my way home when I…seen a kitty run in here. It looked like it needed a home so I followed it to bring it home with me. But it‘s a really good climber.” she said as she glanced up the wall.
”You out here all by yourself?” he said as he knelt down to be more eye level with her.
”Um, yeah, I don‘t live very far from here.””You really shouldn‘t be out here in this storm. Too easy to get hurt or something happen. Why don‘t you come inside with my sons and I until it passes, then you can head home.” He said with a small smile.
Yep, definitely starting to get a bad feeling about this. Guy was a lot older than he looked if those were his
sons.
”Thank you…but I‘m not supposed to go anywhere with strangers.””That‘s true. Smart girl. But it‘s alright, we live right here.” the man said as he pointed to the building beside them.
”You won‘t be far from home at all. Just don‘t want you walking around in this bad storm. We have toys and cookies inside.”Ohhh, yes. This was not what she needed.
”You‘re still strangers...””We won‘t be strangers if we introduce ourselves, now will we?” the skinny man with bling finally said.
”I‘m Leo, that‘s Bill, and he‘s Jay.””And what‘s your name pretty girl?” the other man said, going to brush her hair back from her shoulder.
Rosie automatically stepped back, and her smile completely disappeared, her expression replaced with a mix of surprise and utter disgust. Just that look in the man‘s eyes was enough for her to understand just what they were
really wanting.
”You have GOTTA be kidding me. An entire freaking city and this is the first type of people I run into?” she growled. There was little, if any, sweetness in her voice.
”Stop. Alright, just stop. I‘ve already said no. Get it? I‘m not going with some loser petifile or wangstas.” she said, crossing her arms and standing straight.
”Wangsta?!.” the big guy growled.
”Ooh, a feisty one, eh?” the skinny man said with a nasty little grin.
”I suggest you all just make yourselves scarce before the police pass by. Or worse a super hero.” she said as she started to march towards them to pass by them. The two men stepped aside with a bit of an amused look on their faces…but the big guy didn’t budge, and she couldn’t get around him. She stopped and looked up at him.
”You taken a look around kid? Place is a ghost town. And there hasn‘t been a hero in sight since the storm began.” the skinny man said.
“So why don‘t you just make this easier for yourself and just come with us…since you‘re apparently smarter than you look.” the man in front of her said.
”That so?” Rosie asked, turning towards the skinny man.
Well I bet I can get someone over here easier than Pillsbury Dough Boy over here goes through a Bakery.” Rosie said cooly, glaring at the man who was still blocking her path.
The man looked down at her with a bit of a scowl.
”What did you just say?”Rosie turned back around and gave him a smug little grin.
”Oh, I‘m sorry…you didn‘t like that one? And that was the nice comment too. I could have brought up that the shadow of your butt weighs one hundred pounds, the National Weather Service names each one of your farts, people run around you twice and get lost, they have to take the train and two buses just to get on your good side, you don’t eat with a fork you eat with a forklift, you use two busses for roller-blades, you set off car alarms when you run, or how about your blood type is Ragu. Like any of those ones? No? I have more if you‘d like.” she sneered, then grew quite serious again.
”I‘ve been running around all day, I‘m starting to get cranky. Last. Chance.” she growled as she turned to face the other two.
”Let. Me. Through.””I don‘t think so you smart mouthed little brat.” the big guy snarled.
”You‘ve done pissed me off.”Rosie sighed, then turned and forced her way past the other two towards the wall again.
”Alright, so Mister ‘I have my own area code‘ wants to be an idiot. You two losers going to smarten up and leave or do I have to mess you two up as well?” she said as she glanced around at the boxes and wall a moment.
”Tell you right now. I have little if any sympathy for freaks that like to mess with little kids.” she said, glancing back at the other two.
”Cute. And just what do you plan on doing, kid? Kick us in the shin?””Just grab her. Longer we stay out here, more chance there is of someone walking by.”The two thinner men both started towards Rosie, who watched them with annoyance.
”Fine.” she growled.
In one quick motion, she bent down and picked up a long metal pipe that had been lying in between some of the crates in front of her, spun on her toes, and lunged forward as hard as she could to dive between the two men. She held the pipe solidly in both hands, holding it horizontally in front of her, and felt the ends of it connect with the men’s kneecap with a small crunch. The second it did, there was a bright red glow around their knees, and Rosie flipped herself up and over the pipe, landing in the middle of the three men.
The two men hissed in pain when the pipe smashed into their knees, then panicked when they realized that they couldn’t move that leg. The pipe was now lodged into their knees, attatching both men’s together thanks to it. The pipe was quite literally part of them now.
”You asked me for my name, right?” Rosie said, turning back towards the two with a malicious smile.
”Call me Fuze.”With that, she lept at them again. This time she landed on the pipe, then bounced off of it and onto one of the boxes, where she again jumped, flipped, and aimed her heels at the men’s chests. One man took the hit, and tried to grab her, but the other man lost his balance and fell, bringing the other man down with him. Rosie landed on the ground, spun and touched the asphalt behind her, sending a stream of red light from her hand to the two on the ground. When the glow vanished, the two men began cursing when they realized that they couldn’t get up at all.
”Two down….” she said as she stood back up and stared at the big guy.
He stared down at the other two with a bit of shock, then nervously back at Rosie. Rosie smiled wickedly, stood straight, crossed her arms, and looked straight into his eyes.
”Now let‘s see…where were we? Ah, yes. Your belly button makes an echo. Your belly button gets home fifteen minutes before you do. Your high school yearbook photo was taken from a helicopter. You step on a scale and it says ‘to be continued‘. You went floating in the ocean and Spain claimed you for the new world. You were born on the forth, fifth, and sixth of May. You have smaller fat men orbiting around you. When you talk to yourself, it‘s a long distance call. You tripped over Fourth Avenue and landed on Twelfth. You have to grease a door frame and hold a Twinkie on the other side just to get you through. You sat on a dollar and when you got up, there were four quarters. You sat on a quarter and a booger popped out of George Washington‘s nose.”The big guy, who’s face had slowly become twisted in anger as she had been talking, let out somewhat of a roar and charged at her. She smiled and knelt down on the ground again. She waited until he got to just the spot she wanted, then let her fusion power hit the street again. It caught his foot that was on the ground, and held him just long enough for him to fall. He landed on top of the other two, and a bright red light exploded as he hit the ground.
She smiled, then ran towards them, jumping and bouncing off the back of the big guy to reach the end of the alley where she could easily escape. Rather than make a break for it, she stopped and looked back as the man stood back up. She could tell from the sound of the guy that he wasn’t going to be pretty when he turned back around. And he wasn’t.
The big guy looked fine, but he had a few extra body parts poking out of him, as well as an extra head and face. There was a leg going from his chest, up through his double chin and part of his mouth, then out the top of his head. He couldn’t talk that well, apparently from not being able to close his mouth…and only having half of it to use. One arm he had full use of, but the other would only extend so far, thanks to a leg that was attached to the middle of his upper arm. A knee was bent in his stomach. An arm flailing from his hip, back, leg, and ribs. A completely freaked out head was sticking out of his side, facing behind him, and there appeared to be a face moving slightly under his shirt. Anything else was covered with multiple layers of clothing.
”Let‘s see you lure little girls around now, freak.” Rosie said sweetly, cocking her head to the side and placing her hands behind her back.
”You…ah kih you!” the big guy roared, drool now sliding from the corner of his mouth.
”Oh, dear…what ever will I do?.” Rosie replied sarcastically, faking a terrified pose, then took a quick glance down the alley to make sure no one was around. She moved towards the closest wall, then grit her teeth as she slammed her knee against it to scrape it up. She then glanced at the thing and smiled as she moved back to the middle of the alley.
”If only there were someone around to help a poor, frightened, lost, and defenseless little girl.” she said with the same sarcasm as she sat down on the ground and turned so it looked like she had fallen.
”Tolh you! No-one here!” he snarled as he awkwardly made his way towards her.
”Guess we‘ll just see about that, huh Frankenstein? If your right, you‘ll have the reward of not being stoned I guess.” Rosie said with a little smile. She then paused a moment, and her eyes became very big, a terrified expression covering her face. A second later, she let out a bloodcurdling scream, and began to act like she was having trouble getting up.
”SHUT-UHF! AH KIH YOU!” he roared as he stumbled towards her faster.
Rosie continued shrieking and got to her feet, half stumbling, half hobbling towards the end of the ally and towards the open street.

Sholeh sat there staring down at the two below her with her mouth ajar. After another moment, she laughed and turned to walk across the rooftop. Ok...scratch that. She didn't need to take the girl anywhere. The girl could totally take care of herself. She was fine. No problem here. Well, there kind of was...but hey, everything else was crazy at the moment, so why not? With another flash, she vanished.EXIT Sholeh to Fisk Towers.
