Joey shrugged as in the little town someone walked up to a door fairly quickly walked inside and left then as if fast forwarding to morning more and more people filled the streets a one figure ran out of the same house and ran on the road (( HINT HINT ))

Joey made the most of the river water cover them and they were in what looked like an attic of a house and in the room peeking through a hole in the floor looked like a young joey and in the bottom floor was a man and a woman and there was a knock on the door

The door was opened by the woman and their mouths opened but no words came out then the stranger stabbed the woman and threw the knife into the head of the man he grabbed the knife then left

Alicia's eyes widened. Joey watched that happen?! Her heart filled with sorrow for the boy, and she hugged him gently. Tears sprung into her eyes making them hurt. She couldn't imagine what it must have been like...
