"Heh. That's okay. Everyone's nervous." Mai assured him, the same smile still planted on her face.
Looking around, Mai thought she'd better get back to her team.
"Alright, I'll see you around, Shennen." Mai said, before standing up and walking over to Ibaraki and Kakashi.
"I think I will go back to our room. Tell Jubei where I am, kay? He'll be wondering after he wakes up." Mai said, before staggering off to the room they had arrived in.
Sighing, she closed the door behind her, and made her way to a corner. Sliding down the wall, she enjoyed the silence.

Hiro now in the main room reading a book until he saw the new guy who got hurt come in. He ignored it at first, but when he over heard, "Uzumaki..well there kid cant be that strong, his father is only that powerful because of kyuubi. Hyuga..so there two clans here whit bloodline traits i should be watchful of them, the rest i don't need to worry about too much." he got a little suspicious. How could a guy that confident get beat up that badly, he thought. Well I got three predictions so far. Either he is a really dumb genin or he is the akatsuki member; And if he's a normal genin than the person who did it to him is the akatsuki member; or it could be that pretty boy that Mai likes. Well whatever my prediction he is definitely here. That feeling back when I was entering the academy was just pure evil.

Kiku narrowed her eyes minutely before closing the book and approaching the jounnin team leader. She had to give back the book now? Fcuk that noise, not without a reward for getting it from Ibaraki. She held out her hand expectantly when she got close enough to Kakashi.
Ibaraki, for his part, was torn between respecting the bold girl and being rather angry that she got him caught in the first place. But she was still a bit pretty. Then he saw the hand.
"Uh, sensei," he whispered. "I think she wants the reward."

Mai, tired as she was, kept her eyes open. All she needed was to sit down for a while, and let her chakra slowly increase. her body could only regenerate so much at a time. She just wished she was able to use a soldier pill. But she wasn't. It could kill her, if she was this tired.

Rikou was sitting down, wanting soemthing to eat soon or he would go mad. An Akimichi witohut access to food was very irritable and often prone to a scattered mind when the hunger got worse. Despite his hunger however, he couldn't help but notice how tired Mai was. Healing Jutsu was unknown to Rikou, but it must be difficult if she was so tired. All Rikou had were some soldier pills and the three pills his father, Chouji, gave to him. He had nothing to offer her and so he immediantly forgot abotu her as his stomach growled at him for not trying to find food. This couldn't keep up for long, there had to be a place to eat somewhere.

The Uchiha was close to falling asleep; her chakra wasn't regenerating fast enough. The clinging hands of sleep her about to claim her, when a she noticed a shadow fast approaching her.
Grabbing a kunai, the kinoichi defended herself weakly, but instead was grabbed by the shadow's hands. They enclosed around her neck, and Mai was too weak to fight back. Struggling against it's hold, she realized it was a puppet from the wood-like feeling of it's hands around her neck. She hoped Jubei, or Ibaraki might come.
Who am I kidding!? They won't hear me... the door is shut! Mai thought helplessly.
Then how did the puppet get in here? She asked herself, with no response from her mind.

Shennen unlike his normal self jumps up and runs towers Mai's room. He call's to the jonin.
" You! and anyone able to fight get ready to fight!There a charka string entering Mai's room!"
As he's running to Mai's door he begins making hand signs, making a small fire ball in his left hand. He brakes open Mai's door. Whit his right hand he punches the puppet braking it's body from it's arm which are still around Mai's neck, his left hand is plunged into the puppets chest setting the whole thing ablaze; He then pulls the two arms off of Mai and trows them out of the door, for someone else to deal whit.
"Mai, are you OK?!"
He checks if shes breathing, she is.
"Oh good shes breathing"
He picks her up and places her back on the bed. Waiting for someone to give the 'all clear' for out side of the room, also in case something else shows up.

Mai opened her eyes to look at the boy. He looked familiar, ah, Shennen. That little brat.
Her eyes though, weren't the usual colour. Instead, a scarlet red with three commas decorating the area around the pupil.
"Ugh. Get your hands off me, freak." She said rudely, pushing him away from her as she stood up.
Surprisingly, her chakra supplies felt multiplied, and were full. She felt much better. A slight smirk growing on the kinoichi's face, as she turned to look at Shennen.
"You'd do best to stay away from me, punk. We wouldn't want you getting killed now, would we?"
Something inside of her awakened, as she laughed slightly, before leaving the room.
Quickly, before many noticed, she did a few hand signs, and inhaled greatly.
Putting her hand to her mouth, and creating a 'o' shape with her index finger and thumb, the girl blew out medium sized fireballs.
"Fire Release: Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique!"

"huh, wait, what?"Being called a freak was noting new to Shennen but Mai was."Maybe she just a grumpy person when she wakes up? god knows i am he-he." Shennen just sat on the bed.Looks like i was wrong about the 'no one being foolish enough to attack' theory; But how could someone get a puppet in here? wornt the jonin first here? that means someone here is the spy." Shennen then quickly looks to where the flaming puppet is. It was nolonger there."DAMMIT, its gone! how'd they get it back out!? What the hell is going on here!?"

Emi heard shouting, and opened both her eyes, fully awake. "What idiot is shouting like that? We're all done with this exam; there's no point in fighting," she muttered to herself.
Looking around, she realized the shouting was coming from group 7's room, where Mai had disappeared to a little while ago. Mai generally wasn't the hysterical shouting type, so something else had to be going on. Emi walked over to the room, and stuck her head in the door.
"Mai, are you alright?"

Emi cursed, realizing what Mai was doing just before the flames came at her. She rolled onto the floor, feeling her clothing catch on fire as she went. She rolled quickly to try and put it out, and pushed herself back into a crouching position.
"Kagemane no Jutsu!"
She sent her shadow in Mai's direction, hoping it would catch her before she had a chance to dodge it.

Mai cheerfully hopped out of the way of the shadow that was trying to catch her, and continually kept moving.
"I bet you never thought of me as the Akatsuki spy, hmm?" She asked, flicking her hair as she jumped.
Then, folding her hands into another set of hand signs, she did the exact same as before, but shout out a different attack.
"Fire Release: Grand Fireball Technique!"

Mai, the Akatsuki spy? No way. That couldn't be possible. Her parents were...
And she hated her parents.
"Fire Release: Grand Fireball Technique!"
Emi's eyes widened, as she realized there was no reasonable way of dodging this attack. The room was too small, and the fireball was too big. The only way out of the room was the door she had come through. Well, that and the door to the outside.
Can I make it in time?
Without stopping to think, Emi dove for the door out of the room.

The flames licked at the sides of the door, but didn't break through, thanks to a jet of water blocking it's path.
Akira stood behind the diving Emi, repelling Mai's attack, with his water jutsu.
After the flames subsided, Mai pouted, and walked over to him.
"There was no need for that. We were only sparring." She said innocently. She realized every other set of eyes was on them now, but she didn't care.
Akira, took his hand and touched her cheek, holding her face from moving. He looked into her eyes, before dropping his hand.
"Ugh. What was with that? Like, seriously. Keep your hands to yourself, baka." Mai snapped.
Akira just laughed, and left the building.
He is so weird. Mai thought.
Then she looked at the fallen Emi, and shook her head at the fallen girl. She then took to moving around the room, as so the shadow couldn't catch her if Emi tried.
She laughed, and found the people she was looking for.
Jubei, Hiro, Kakashi, and Ibaraki. Heck, she'd even get Rikou in it too.
"Heh. It was nice getting to know you guys. But, you know, some people die. Like you guys will." She said evilly, performing another set of hand signs, like the ones before.
"Fire Release: Grand Fireball Technique!" Mai said, once more.
