Tairu was utterly confused when read about chakra nature. It was just like his experiences with his reading on general anatomy. I don't understand why I don't understand! he thought in frustration. For some reason he just couldn't comprehend nature types. There was something about it that he wasn't getting and it was making everything just so confusing for him.

Fire beats wind, and lightning beats water... NO!.... it was lightning beats earth, it dosen't make any sense but that's what the text says. Then there's the whole thing about how one thing makes another nature type stronger.... agh!

Tairu closed his eyes and breathed out deeply. okay lets read it one more time. Tairu reread the passage but it still didn't make any sense. Maybe if I draw it out I'll understand it more. Tairu thought as he tried to troubleshoot his issue.

Tairu pulled out his sketch book and and as he read the information again he drew each element in a hexagonal pattern. Fire beats wind, which beats lightning, which beats earth, which beats water, which beats fire. When he was done Tairu had this drawing. As Tairu looked at the drawing he began to comprehend chakra nature type a little more.

Tairu searched the shelves for some time but he came up empty on his search for information on the Hyuuga. That figures, all of our information is probably locked away within a vault somewhere so that the unworthy are not allowed to find it. With his quest for knowledge on the Hyuuga blocked Tairu set out to find another interesting book. Looking high and low he searched the library shelves for knowledge that peeked his interest. Tairu pulled several books that looked interesting, based on title and cover, from the shelves and set them aside. "Chakra Control" by Ran Tau, "Anatomy of Men" by Sakura Fei, "The Body" by Sai Kishimato, and "Medic Nin" by Yamato Kailan.

Tairu decided to start with "Anatomy of Men" by Sakura Fei. He began to read it but almost immeaditely lost interest. Men are driven by one thing and one thing only, women. It quickly became apparent that this book was not a medical book. Tairu was unsure of what kind of book it was but he quickly decided that it was a bad one. Tairu then moved on to "The Body" by Sai Kishimoto.

"The human body starts out the same for the most part. At birth the only thing that is different among human beings is the sex organs. Though as the body grows the differences between males and females begins to radically change. Boys naturally begin to acquire more muscles and distinctive features while girls become curvier and develope breasts...."

Tairu was rapt with interest. This book had Tairu's complete interest and he was compleately focused on the book.

Finally after what seemed like an eternity, Minoru managed to find the page he was looking for. He would have to make a note of whoever wrote so he could write a well thought out, civil, complaint form citing the fact that he was completely incompetent of making a book of anything. Still the book had good information, and references to boot. Bookmarking every page so he wouldn't have to keep searching again, Minoru took a look at the information he had gathered thus far.

All things included it wasn't as if he had caused himself any measure of discomfort. Other than the final book he had managed to compile a good bit of data concerning the Kunai, and its practical uses. Now he would just have to write it all down, something Minoru wasn't accustomed to doing. Writing, like speaking, varied depending on what country you were in. Luckily enough Minoru could read and write the language they used in Konoha, but his handwriting was atrocious. Reading it was like trying to smash one's head against a wall repeatedly. Taking a few deep breaths, Minoru cracked his neck and began writing.

It was as if Minoru had been touched by the god of writing. Or at least, that's how he felt. For once it appeared as if he could read what he was writing down. Being on the road all the time had always meant that normally "civilized" activities such as reading and writing had taken a back seat to more practical skills. Like tracking and hunting so one could eat when it was negative thirty degrees Celsius in the desert. A person had to have his priorities.

And yet as he copied his notes, Minoru couldn't help but feel a sense of dread coming over him. The Genin exams were coming up, and he didn't have any sort of edge. He wasn't sure who was graduating with him, but he needed an edge of some kind in order to ensure his winning. Losing, that ever present annoyance, wasn't acceptable this time around. Only by standing atop the bloody bodies of his fellow students could he call himself worthy of being a shinobi.

Everything was going so well up till that point. It was looking so perfect... The sun was shining through; illuminating his hand copied work like it was something being prepared for a religious tome.

And then...

Some idiot ran by, knocked over the ink he was using, and ruined everything he had copied down. If only he had gotten a look at the guy's face, Minoru would have made sure to put something in his drink the next morning. Rolling up the useless paper, Minoru brought out a replacement and began working from scratch.

All and all, this was definitely boring compared to a life of travel, exploration, and discovery. It was any wonder why people had scribes and slaves somewhere to do this for them. Surely they didn't do it all by hand?

But there was another pressing matter on his mind. A ninja was, by definition, a person who used stealth and misdirection to his advantage. Why then, did all of the stronger ninjas seem to focus on flashy effects and area effects? Why use summons at all if your goal was to be discreet?

Then again these were all just rumors he had heard while traveling. Tales of men who walked on top of the oceans and had giant serpents at their beck and call. Tales of men who were made of stone, who could cast their bodies in such a way that they were impervious to any attack.

But these were only stories. No need to believe any of that nonsense. And yet if there were ninjas, perhaps there was more than a grain of truth in them...

It appeared that Nemesis had struck again. She was there for only one reason, to strike those down who got too full of themselves. Those who had too much, she would humble them. Those that were too arrogant, she would humble. For Nemesis wasn't bound by anyone, not even the gods themselves.

Of course she went by many names. "The Untamed One," as she was referred to in the islands in the south east corner of the world. The people of the shifting sands called her "The Mirage" for her uncanny ability to lead travelers to their deaths with sandstorms.

But perhaps more prominent than any of the others, she was known as the "Wyld." Not the way you referred to any animal, she was the goddess of nature, and kept it free of the bounds placed on it by people.

Most ninja in Konoha seemed to take the trees for granted, and built huge structures to house themselves. This was not how she had intended. For no matter how high the villagers built, one day she would pull them kicking and screaming back into the earth. As was her way.

Unfortunately as he thought about her teachings, Minoru found himself writing what he was thinking down onto his paper. Hastily scratching it out, he looked around to make sure no one had read anything. He wasn't sure how the locals viewed strange religions... And he wasn't going to find out while being burned at a stake.

It appeared that Minoru had hit the proverbial wall. Every time he put his pen to paper, he ran out of things to write about, or his mind blanked, or it wandered off in some random direction. So was his punishment for getting to confident of his abilities. The Wyld always made sure that the tall grass was eaten first.

But he pressed forward, drawing the stances he would need to go through in order. But it was easier to read the books than it was to copy them. Perhaps the scribes really were tough individuals, people who were wise beyond that of the Hokage?

Not that Minoru cared about Konoha, or it's Hokage. Word on the street was that the leader had left for ten years and then decided to make a return. A leader who wasn't around to lead wasn't a leader anymore in Minoru's eyes.

Not that it mattered to him at all. Until he was a full shinobi, what the Hokage did was his own business. Minoru didn't care about protecting Konoha or the Hokage. What he cared about was nature, and being able to fulfill the Wyld's ambitions. Even if those ambitions were to tear down Konoha's grand city brick by bloody brick.

At this time however, Minoru had better things to be doing. He had to finish re-copying his scroll so he could move on. The time to plan elaborate coups was long in the future. Maybe, just maybe, he could learn to love Konoha. And if Minoru began to love it, perhaps the Wyld would to.

Genjutsu Kai: Release
The user attempts to break the chakra circulation flow in his body in order to see through a genjutsu.

Jibaku Fuda: Kassei, (Exploding Tag: Activate)
Utilizing chakra, the user is able to activate the explosion mechanism of a distant bomb tag.
Cp cost: 3 per tag
Damage: Exploding tag damage [10-20]
Requirements: Chakra Control 5
Training: 1 day or Learn in the academy.

Ayame Tori (Murderous Grasp)
This jutsu uses a metal string strengthened with chakra to make a thread capable of cutting through steel with little difficulty
Cp cost: 6 per foot per turn
Damage: 5 - 12 + half chk mod + half str mod
Requirements: Chakra Control 10
Training: 3 days
Special: Can be used as a weapon!

Soshuha (Manipulating Attack Blades)
Blades are held floating in mid-air as they are controlled by the user's chakra. These blades can then be directed towards any desired target.
Cp cost: 6 per blade per turn
Damage: weapon damage + chk mod
Requeriments: Chakra Control 15 the weapons..
Training days: 9 days
Special: Can control up to 5 blades + 2 more for every 10 ranks in Chakra Control

Tanuki Neiri no Jutsu, "Play Possum Jutsu"
The user forces them self into a deep sleep using their chakra to cover their pulse and heartbeat to fool an opponent.
Cp cost: 20 + 5 per turn
Damage: N/A
Requirements: Chakra Control 10
Special: You appear dead. DC to find out you are alive is 35. Roll is d20 + wis mod.
Training: 2 days

Katon: Goukakyu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Grand Fireball Technique)
Utilizing a high amount of chakra, a large ball of flame is exhaled from the user's mouth.
Cp cost: 30
Damage: 20 - 40 + chakra modifier.
Reflex DC: 10 + Character level + chakra mod for half damage. Neutral 20 or surpassing the save by 10 means no damage.
Requirements: Fire Affinity, Chakra 20+, Chakra Control 12
Training days: 7 days/ if Uchiha teaches you, 4 days
Special: Uchihas learn this at young age. This does not mean that Uchiha starting out will have this jutsu.

Katon: Hosenka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique)
Multiple balls of fire are sent at the target. It is also possible to hide shurikens within the fireballs, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack.
Cp cost: 15 + 3 per ball.
Damage: 6 - 15 per ball that hits.
Training: 7 days
Requirements: Chakra Control 10 + 2 per ball.
Special: If shuriken are hidden inside the fireballs, treat the shuriken attack as a Surprise Attack.

Doton: Dochū Eigyo no Jutsu (Earth release: Underground Projection Fish Technique)
The user is able to dig underground using chakra, and to remain there until ready to attack. Useful for preparing an attack or an escape, but accomplishes nothing else on its own.
Cp cost: 15
Damage: N/A
Requirements: Earth Affinity, Chakra Control 8
Training: 2 days
Special: +chk mod to Hide roll. If undetected, person can Sneak Attack. User suffers double damage from earth based ninjutsu.

Doton: Doroku Gaeshi (Earth Release: Earth Shore Return)
After striking the ground with his hands, the user creates a large wall of earth will rise into place as defense. The defense is not perfect though, since a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall.
Cp cost: 35
Damage: N/A
Requirements: Chakra 15+, Earth Affinity, Chakra Control 12.
Training days: 7 days
Special: Creates full cover, crumbles when hit.
