I didn't even get a chance to check out the quest system. stressed

lol well...the only one that had was for beginners basically...you didn't miss much, 40g and a beginner item was all sweatdrop

What exactly do you have to do?

umm, do daily chance (I already did it before they introduced quest that day so I automatically got the item or gold), buy some clothes, change the avy and save (actually change and save, can't just press save without doing anything), and I was done..other people got a posting one...I never got that one...but it says I've completed the quest sweatdrop

I wanna do a quest. xd Which item did you get? I wonder when they'll reopen the quest system.

ohh~cean blue head wrap, they open it eventually lol don't worry smile

I put an envelope in front of it. xd

o.o...that's super bright surprised ...at least you don't need a night light lol
I don't need night lights, I have really good night vision compared to most of my family. That's why I like really dark rooms.

do you have cat eyes or something sweatdrop
I wish! But no, they're not that good.

But my sister and mom are night-blind.

Usually when we go to the movies the previews have already started. As soon as we step in my sister grabs my hand and I lead her to the seats.

And when I'm camping my parents are always "Take a flashlight!" so I do, but never use it. Only when it was pitch black did I stumble once last time (because there was a dip in the path that anyone would have tripped on) but I stayed on the path no problem. ><

o.o it's not that dark when they dim the lights at the theaters o.o...you can see in pitch black? surprised

Well here they turn the lights completely off, so all you can go by is the flashing screen. ><

It wouldn't have been pitch black if someone didn't have freakin' floodlights in their campsite that blinded me. mad

But yeah, my eyes are pretty damn sensitive. People make fun of me because my eyes are always halfshut like I'm tired, or I'm squinting with my brows furrowed. If I consciously open my eyes fully in regular light, it hurts.

No astigmatism, just myopia (near-sightedness) and strabissmus ('lazy-eye').

And I just learned people with myopia usually have bad night vision. o.O

Of course, my eyes are just one big anomaly - the lazy eye is supposed to have worse vision than the 'strong' eye, yet it's the other way around for me. I spent half an hour trying to convince the eye-lady that my left eye is stronger than my right and she was all "No way, that's impossible!" and checked my eyes anyway. Lo and behold, once that was over she was all "Wtf?! You're all backwards!"

sweatdrop

lol...hmm...maybe the lazy eye is better cuz it's used less cuz it's lazy
But you would think it's lazy because it doesn't work as good as the good eye.

That eye can also go blind if it doesn't get used very often at a young age. Hence my nerdiness and wearing a patch over my good eye to strengthen my bad one. mad

I went for surgery at eight to 'fix' my lazy eye. It's not fixed, but not noticeable unless I tell someone. ><

It also means I don't have very good depth perception, as I don't really see things in 3D - more like 2.5D (looking with one eye, all peripheral vision with other). Explains a lot of things like my clumsiness, fear of heights, etc. Also the reason I know I wouldn't make a good surgeon - dissecting animals in university proved that:

*make shallow incision*
Me: ... O.O ... *misses* ... *misses* ... *barely touches* ... *too deep* DAMMIT!
