Admiral Skippy lilchibiusa Uncle Kenny Haha, no no, just doing secret ninja guild modding So, you join guilds to mod them to see if there's something bad going on in them? And too bad about you not getting married. blaugh Btw, it just occurred to me that you're still Santa Kenny. Are you still hanging on to Christmas? @Skippy - Do you think they were stolen? I remember you saying that someone was trying to hack your old account, or something like that. When my items go missing, I realize that I sold them. sweatdrop Some of those things I sold I really regret selling now. Yes I do. I thought the same as you, that maybe I had sold them. But I liked those items, and I would equip them every so often, and I never remember selling them. Maybe I did, but I don't think so. The problem is that Gaia only shows up to 15 items that have been sold in the marketplace, so I could have had more than 15 items sold when I was hacked, but I won't be able to see the others. Poor Skippy. sad @Kenny - Aren't there mods and forums assistants for the AMC?

There are but they're also assigned to several other forums and none of them have their main forum as the AMC like I did. When I was a Helper/Site Mod I owned AMC, then I left and it's gone downhill since.

lilchibiusa I thought that the AMC has been pretty bad for years now. It's always "someone vs some" or "someone/some anime character is the best!" or something like that. You can't have a real conversation in there, but then again, I've never seen a topic worth reading in there in my time on Gaia. When I talk about anime/manga, I like to discuss plot points, interpretations, and speculations. It's gotten to the point where I can't even post. It's turned into /b/ for people under the age of 18. Sad story, brah. crying

(So I wonder why he keeps going back.) xp But I would have to say, that if one forums is getting close to /b/, it would be the GD. At any given time, there are usually three or four active threads involving nude pics, and countless more involving other forms of perversion. I don't even see how that forum is allowed to operate the way it does. But back on topic, the AMC just looks like it's populated by a bunch of 12-year-olds now.

I dunno. I think it's a bit dirtier than chatterbox. But, the name is definitely misleading. I feel sorry for all of the newbies who accidentally wander in there. sweatdrop

I always thought of the GD as a shitty place. ED as well.
.... I gave up on the AMC more or less.
What were once the Inuyasha fangirls are the Naruto/Death Note ones.
What is interesting is gg's interviews/chats with Sam (apparently one of the translators of the shows Crunchy has from Tezuka Productions)
From going to fansubs to legit translations, along the way add a PhD in Physics! (WTF?!)

I wanted to hurry and post to explain my avi. We were playing truth or dare in one of my guilds. I chose "dare." sweatdrop I was ordered to wear the sluttiest avi I could make for 24 hours. So, while I was making my slutty avi, I decided to go all out. blaugh

I don't think Gaia has good forums in general. The only reason why I stuck with it in the beginning was because I liked the avatars, then I made friends and joined guilds where you can actually talk. Once I joined good guilds, I hardly ever posted in the main forums.

I just gave you a 5/5. biggrin
I'm pretty much a guildie now. I post in this guild and two others multiple times per day. I also regularly post in a hangout thread called Luck of the Gemini in the aquarium forum. Other than than, I don't really do the forum thing. The GCD is nice occasionally to get info, but it gets kind of monotonous after a while. I can only handle so much complaining. -__-

One of my friends e-mailed me today and told me that her Gaia account was hacked. xp It seems like all of my friends are getting hacked! I'm getting really paranoid. What if I'm next? eek
Edit - I just changed my avi to make it cheaper. As of now, it is only worth about 150k. Maybe that will make me less of a target. I hope that my password is strong enough. I keep on making it harder and harder over the years, so I hope that will help. Btw, if I'm ever hacked, my mule is Ellineath. I'm thinking about doing a print screen of my inventory, and cataloging all of my items just in case. @_@
@Kenny - You're the hacking expert. What makes people targets of hacking? If you avoid all of the scams and phishing, how easy is it for someone to get your account?

Only as easy as you make it. If you avoid all the scams and phishing attempts then it just comes down to how secure your password is. If you have a good, strong password and don't share it with anyone then it is pretty much next to impossible for someone to get into it. We Mods get hit with attempted brute force hackings on a daily basis but we remain untouched because our passwords are secure.
Also, my laptop charger dying and the bank putting a hold on my new laptop order is uncool. xp
