Draeken Aakarshan Draeken sighed and shook his head. "The plan is to leave you as far from the Citadel as possible. Mastema has defenses there that would give even myself and Xol trouble. I will not allow you to put your life on the line. I don' want to lose you as well." He noticed Derek and nodded a greeting. "Good evening. Adjusting to the dojo life well I hope?" She grumbled "Dad! You have to let me help you find her! She's my mother! I'm alot stronger then you think me to be! If I was stuck there you'd let her help you!"

Sadness touched his eyes for a moment before he responded. "You are right that I would likely allow Phia to come, but that's only because she would likely beat me to a pulp as well as threaten...but this is you that I am talking about. Right at this moment you are all I have family wise and I would hate to lose you. Plus there is the chance that we could fail getting Phia back and if that happens and I were to lose you...Even if I were to die as well in such a scenario, I wouldnt rest, even in death, knowing that you too were gone." He leaned forward and hugged Aria tightly, kissing her forehead. "I know that you are strong, but your safety comes first."
After a moment he released Ari from the hug and smiled a bit before looking to Derek. "Well...If my hearing serves me right, it is Cole screaming at us from the garden. Someone may want to help him find his way out of there if that's the problem."

A lot of what Draeken said to his daughter (at least, Derek assumed it was his daughter from what was said) made no sense to Derek, but it was probably a personal family matter, so he paid it no mind. Instead, he turned his attention to finding Cole. There was just one problem with that. "The gardens? I'm not sure where that is. Plus, chances are if it's some sort of maze, I'll go, but I might need someone to come with."

"Yea but if you f-ed up and died, what If I could have prevented it by being there...Then You'd leave me there all alone again! If you both died...Dammit Da Lemme come! I don't care! I understand what I'm getting into...Hell if I fought you when you were a fricken psycho I think I can at least hold my own for long enought to help you!!!" She was being stubborn, biting into her bottom lip, and in doing this, she looked exactly like her mother.

D, just let her go. *The voice would come rather abruptly. Twilight walked from the kitchen, chugging down a glass of water. He sighed in relief after taking a few gulps and looked to the two* Believe me... I'm a dad and I'm pretty sure I understand what you're feeling and thinking. But you're going to have to give her a shot sometime. It looks like you underestimated what Aethi could do... and I'll bet Ari's a little more capable than either of our perceptions of her as a teen will allow. Besides.... if Axl could hold his own at her age I think she'll do just fine *He chuckled once then went back to drinking. Ari might be surprised to hear a such a sudden vouch of support from her uncle*

Draeken was about to protest further, but sighed as TJ put forth a good point. "Yes, I realize this...But...It's also a matter of how to get Ari in and out of the barrier." He sighed again and looked back to Ari. "I know you are strong, but I don believe you to be strong enough to be able to use the method I know of to get into the barrier and still have the energy to fight. Getting in you could probably manage but what about once you are in there? Unless, TJ, you know of a more energy efficient way to get into the barrier?" He looked once again to TJ and tilted his head. "Xol and I also wish you to join us in this attack and rescue mission. Your knowledge of Mastema could be valuable, as well as your skill in battle."

Ahsayuni approached the bar and searched for a drink. She tried her best to ignore the conversations around her but failed miserably. "........."

So trouble is something you shouldnt have much of." He grinned a bit and shrugged.

Aria blinked, kinda confused that TJ would even put in a good word on her side. She Turned to him "Thank you! Da' I'm of your's and Ma's blood...I held my own against you for pretty long before Aethi made me quit...I'm not weak. The problem is...you dont believe in my ability...I don't train my a** off just for kicks around here...if i was bored I'd go back to New york!"

"...attack and rescue mission? This may be none of my business, but I'm mildly curious as to what this is about. I mean, you people let me stay here and gave me food, so I'm willing to earn my keep somehow." Derek said. He still had little idea as to what this was about, but it had caught his attention for the time being. He still needed to head out and help Cole, but there hadn't been any more calls. That could either be good or bad. Derek hoped it was the former.

*twi put his hand on Ari's head and tooks his mouth away from his glass of water* Down fireball... I think he gets the idea.... *Turning back to D, Twi seemed to drift off into thought* I haven't so much as talked to Mastema in over a year.... it's been since before the sanctuary was taken down. I can't really say I know much of anything about the barrier other than the fact that Than designed it. Your way of getting in is as good as mine. *He shrugged* We'll see what happens.... but odds are I'm going to have to go face to face with one very likely to be very pissed off demon prince before I do that. *He sighed*

"Like I said before, Aria, I know you are strong, but can you open and maintain a wormhole long enough for you to get yourself through to the other side of Mastema's barrier? I don know. You can come, but if you cant get into the barrier, outside is where you will have to stay. Unless I find a way to get multiple peopel in at once." He shook his head in disbelief that he was letting Aria go, but soon got over that and looked back to TJ.
"Well, at least you can make a promise to try and come along. And though I am curious as to why you will have to confront such a person, I think I will let the matter lie."

Aria removed Tj's hand from her head and looked to him. "Who might we be facing....Mastema or Thanny?" She looked mildly concerned about fighting Thanny, she was rather fond of Thanny since was little, she didn't want to have to fight him.

*Twi placed his hand back in his pocket and finished gulping down his water. With another sigh, he looked to D* One, I'm not promising I'll do anything. *It was a rather straightforward and perhaps unexpected statement* and secondly.... why am I going to have to calm down a pissed off demon prince? Well... for lack of better words, Kai's son has a lot of pent up frustration most of the time. Events of last night caused his sister to pass out, I believe. Odds are he's not going to be happy about coming to get her. *Twi placed the glass down on the table and turned to Aria* Let's ask my crystal ball.... stare I don't know, Ari. That's up to them. On the bright side, I think that if Than does choose to fight, he'll be easy to take down. *So much for a bright side*

Draeken sighed at TJ's response. He seemed to be sighing a lot tonight, he thought, but then dismissed it and shrugged. "Fine. No promises then. I really do hope that you would be able to join and help us, though. And as for Kai's kids...Sounds like fun. If I'm around and you need help, just call. I'm sure I could help quite a bit in at least restraining them."
The thought of possibly facing Than disturbed him. He didnt want to have to fight the kid, but if he had to...If he had to, he would hold nothing back. "I should hope Mastema wouldnt sink to his lowest and send out Than to fight us. I would much rather fight the b*****d himself."
