Black followed her and sighed with relief. Asami was truly a lifesaver to him, he felt completely calm around her and couldn't help also feeling safe. "As I've experienced firsthand." He replied, following her out into the courtyard. It was a great day, especially for him.

Asami knew he had loved Katherine very much, but she also knew that the queen and Matachi loved eachother as well. She wanted to keep Black happy, for a moment before, she had felt as if he was slowly becoming isolated from the one who he had loved before. Asami reached the tree that stood the tallest in the yard and let go of his hand. She turned to him and smiled, "I'm not sure about the things you like and dislike, why don't you tell me more first."

"Well, my biggest thing was reading a while back. I was so absorbed in studying and experiments that I even wrote my own book. Katherine already had it published, but I wasn't quite finished with it. Though from what I've read, it rivals that of many scholars which I'm proud of. I've also held my interest in the practice of alchemy, the creation of medicines, potions and poisons." Black explained, taking a seat in the grass. "As for dislikes... I think I shut myself off from others too much to the point where my only dislike was lack of human contact."

Asami took a seat next to him and said, "That seems really interesting, maybe when I have a chance, I'll read your book." She leaned back onto the tree and said, "Well, I'm glad you only dislike the lack of human contact." She looked up at the sky and said, "It's been peaceful here, I'd like it to stay that way."

"Yes well... we'll be lucky if it lasts more then a few days." Black laughed, looking up with her. "Though I'm hopeful with you around." He said happily. Though maybe he might have been relying on her kindness too much.

She turned to look at him with a smile, "That's so sweet." Asami could feel the breeze entering the yard gently. Though they weren't doing much now, but it had seemed nice.

Black wondered when Katherine was going to come back, it had been a while since they were home. Though he quickly pushed it away as he remembered she was with Matachi, at least someone he could trust. "Well, I'm glad I get to spend time you through all the usual stuff that goes on here."

Asami placed her hair to one side and combed her fingers thorugh it. "Well, I haven't visit my temple since I've left...There had been so many things i had to take care of. I've never found the right time to go back. And now, Katherine is gone, it's unsafe to leave her castle unoccupied. Perhaps I'll have to return soon."

Black looked over to her. "I... I don't want you to leave..." He said, feeling now like his happiness was being taken away again. "If... if you go... I think I should go with you." He said, sounding a little nervous at first. Though he was feeling like only she could make me happy.

She turned to him a blinke da bit surpised at his wanting her stay with him. She then smiled and said, "Don't worry, I won't leave until katherine returns. I wouldn't mind if you came with me to the temple, it's been a while since I've had any guests."

Asami laughed and said, "You won't be a bother, don't think like that." She lifted her free hand up to pat him and said, "I just want you to be happy."

"It's fine, just be yourself, they'll accept you," Asami told him. She leaned back and said, "I lived there for my whole life, I finally was able to leave the temple grounds when I turned eighteen. I'd say i like the life outside the temple much more."

Black decided to stand up and lean against the tree. "I'm sure it's fine over there. Maybe a little overwhelming?" He asked looking down at her. "I won't have to worry about anyone trying to crawl all over me now, will?" He asked, just sort of laughing. Though he knew they were probably more organized then that.
