APH-Fem Canada-APH I'm working on trying to find a good font for the new guild logo, atm. Though, fishing through my huge library of fonts and downloading more fonts can be a chore. This might take a bit longer than expected, so sorry for the wait. It's cool, no rush. 3nodding

King of Paradise Azura, in response to your thank you for keeping this place lively, you're welcome. I know my tri-monthly visits are the only thing keeping you going here. xd I'm totally not being sarcastic... Ok I am.~ Jurassic World was ok. I just didn't like how the film tried to make you root for Claire's character, when she was directly responsible for several very preventable deaths of innocent people. Also, those teens... Can modern movies PLEASE stop featuring annoying teen twats that just ruin the entire experience with their too-cool-for-school attitudes? /rant ~ Sooo... Can't say for sure quite yet, but I may be done with future Tales titles. I'm just not at all interested in RPGs with massive open worlds that take hundreds of hours to fully explore. I really, really miss the world maps featured in the RPGs of yesteryear, a la Symphonia. I just don't have enough free time anymore for what Zesteria has in mind. And if every Tales game follows it lead - which I expect they will - then yeah, I think I may be done with future Tales titles. Alas. ~ Errr, guess that's all for now. Hi everyone. Bye everyone. FOOOOOOOOCK. rofl I highly doubt you're even interested in changing up your avatar anymore, but I'd so allow you to pick some stuff out of the treasury as an honorary member. Hell, even you are still more active than a great majority of the guild members. xd
I've been wanting to see Jurassic World for nostalgia's sake regardless of what I've heard. (Oh no, did they try to shoehorn in teen romance, though? Because EW.) I loved the Jurassic Park series as a kid even though they terrified me lol. But with movie tickets here being $7.50 a pop these days, that's kind of a little too expensive for me. lol
That's actually kind of similar to how I feel about videogames in general these days. I mean, I still have interest in them and would still love to keep up with them but it just feels like I have no tiiiiiiiime anymore. T.T Not to mention money, ahaha.
See you again soon. We should try to have something planned next time. rofl

Korsall Kaiser OMG GUYS!!! IWATA!!! ToT IWATA PASSED AWAY A FEW DAYS AGOO!!!! T~T WHYYYYY?!?!?!?! I'm still reeling from it myself. crying Just gonna repost what I said in the GCD thread:Quote: My mind is still refusing to accept this as reality. sad
Iwata was an idol and inspiration to me. One of the people who got me admiring the industry of videogames and aspiring to work in it. I grew up with mostly Nintendo in my gaming life. It still blows my mind what he managed to pull off for Pokémon Gold and Silver; to re-code it so that a game that would have had only one region would have two in much less cartridge memory space. He very well may have gone on to achieve greater things of note, but this is the one that stands out to me off the top of my head because Silver was my most favorite game of my childhood.
It saddens me to think we've lost this amazing man with a mind who would still care to think, "Well, what kind of game would old people play?" or even "What kind of game could bring the whole family together?" Someone who was still more inclined to appeal to children and children-at-heart in times when the industry seems to be getting more and more obsessed with "grown up" themes of dark realism and bloody violence. An "old man" who wasn't afraid to give silly presentations whereas the air of other developers seemed to demand you only take them seriously. Someone who was focused on FUN more than business. Someone with his generosity, who willingly slashed his own salary in half so that no one would have to be laid off. That's rare to see out of a president of a big-time company.
Thank you for everything, Satoru Iwata, and may you rest in peace.

Hey, I saw on tumblr you took that color vision 'test' and got tiger. Did you ever see my reblog on that? I got Robot with a score of 31 and 0 mistakes! XD I eventually ran out of time on one that was a ridiculous number of black squares...

Jurassic World was okay theater viewing. Also, there was no real teen romance. The teens in question are two brothers, the elder of which tries and fails to pick up the ladies. I can see what you mean about the wide open world. It seems like every game is trying to do that, and the detailed, quality content is suffering for it. I, for one, prefer my games a little more linear than that, but with opportunities for exploration if I feel like it. So yeah, Symphonia. Still picking up Zestiria, though.

Speaking of games, I've recently pre-ordered the new King's Quest game that's coming out on the 28th. ^_^ With having played the older games as a kid, it's giving me a moment of nostalgia. XD

I just remembered that Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 is due out early next month. I look forward to it.
On a Zestiria note, I might just preorder the PS4 version and save up for the PS4 later. Depends on how much I have to spare later.

Kinda juggling some ideas for the logo atm. Sometime, I might post some conceptual drawings here, but for now I'm still brainstorming.

@Azura: WHAT'S THIS ABOUT FREE THINGS? Haha, but yeah, I really don't care about dressing up my avatar anymore. It's been 841 days since my last change, so... Still. The cheap a** in me always love the idea of free things, so if could direct me to this treasury, my wallet would be kindly obliged.
No, there's no teen romance, but the teens are still annoying regardless.
Yup. Wish all these awesome games were coming out 10 years ago. crying
Planned? Absolutely not. You know that's not how I jive, Bloo. I'm an //ERROR//, and a //ERROR//'s gotta nknsnkn3928938cch8848hd48f.

@Evil: Yeah, I really wish every game stopped adopting the whole open world thing. Then maybe I'd have time to play other games, haha.

Sorry I haven't been able to get to the new banner or whatever. I've been given some freelance jobs so I've been busy with those and trying to catch up with my writing. Also, I won't be around next we because I'll be in Las Vegas for five days.

ShadeKyubi Shall I look into the future for you? As long as you shout "I CAN SEE THE FUTURE" while you do so, sure. King of Paradise @Evil: Yeah, I really wish every game stopped adopting the whole open world thing. Then maybe I'd have time to play other games, haha. Yeah. "Open world" often means "100+ hours of filler." A long game that doesn't deserve to be long. Xenoblade Chronicles, now... That is a super-long openish game done right.

Also, I won't be around next we because I'll be in Las Vegas for five days. It's fine. smile Take as much time as you need.
I've been gone for practically the past month myself because of church community things, which include editing sheet music, compiling songbooks, a video project, and late night choir and dance practices. All of this has to do with the 35th anniversary celebration of the main community in the Philippines (the one here on Guam is a branch).
And for that, I'm also gonna be gone in about a week...for another month. Because I'll be staying at my grandma's and she has NO MORE INTERNET CONNECTION AT HER PLACE SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME--- gonk
Semi-kidding about the agony---I mean, I do dread going that long without internet, but at the same time I feel like some time offline might make me feel refreshed.
I will try to reply to the RPs before I go, I'm pretty sure I'm much more free now that I finished the video project and 95% of the sheet music/songbook project.

Hey... Just popping in to say that I went to a liquor store for the first time today... >w> (little big so I stuck it under a spoiler tag) Hoo! >.< I tried the Rum Pocket Shot... Wow... It's labeled as Imported Caribbean Gold Rum. Just wow... I know I like the Crown and Fireball and that's the entire reason I grabbed them, but I'm looking forward to trying the others.
