Cole hisses as the light flashes him for a moment, but thankfully he wasn't in the blast itself. Once his vision clears he reaches out, grabs Derek's cloak, and retreats into the training room to watch.

KB seemed mostly unphased by the fog surrounding him. His eyes darted to Jason, and he took a step back, letting Jason have a good shot to slice open his chest. As he presented himself as a target, he telepathically projected the countless agonizing screams the children made as he had toyed with them. The projection of such sounds was mostly aimed at Jason, to fill his mind, though surely the others in the area might here the sound faintly. Almost as if they were imagining the children screaming and begging as KB tore their flesh apart.

*He swings his giant sword again, taking a step foeward, simply swinging from left to right once.* ... You think I haven't heard... these kinds of voices before? I admit they sound more sloppy, but do you have any idea how many demons use a child's body as a sheild?

Derek reeled from the sound in his head. He knew a psychic assault when he felt one (having been subjected to the telepathic shouts of friends and instructors before), but this was unlike anything he'd heard. He hadn't ever seen it used as a weapon, or used for a voice not one's own. It was possible, in theory (and the concept intrigued as a magic semi-researcher), but this use of it was revolting. As a weapon to unnerve the enemy, this was perfect, though disgusting and appalling. It did accomplish two things, however. It made Derek lose what remained of his appetite and forced his hand as to which side of this brawl he'd be on. His fingertips on the hand holding the remains of his sandwich glowed green for an instant before he yelled, "Oy! Why'd you hit the rest of us with that?" to KB and threw the sandwich (which had, though the use of Derek's magic, had had all of its contents bound together and their density increased to about that of wood). The leftovers flew right at KB.

*Twilight still did not engage KB on his own, but did hear the voices. All he did was snort in response* I have to agree with my pal over there.... it's really nothing new to me.... *Twi was starting to feel a lot more relaxed about this fight than the last, but had a hunch that was possibly the man's intent*

Cole twitches violently and clutches his ears, trying to block out the sound in his mind. He had heard kids in the hospital but... This was bad, really bad, too bad. His already vulnerable psyche was acting like a hollow cavern, taking the sound and bouncing it around inside his skull, increasing in intensity and volume and adding to his small cache of memory.
"Why... would... you... do... that..."
He gasps as tears stream down his face.

KB hissed at Jason as the sword cut deep into his flesh. It caused KB to stumble back, as the bottom half of his now severed tie dropped to the floor. The wound that crossed his chest bled openly, but he didn't seem to mind. Instead he simply shrugged and once again surveyed his surroundings. Luckilly for him, stumbling back had caused the sandwich to narrowly miss him and go flying past his face.
He was always overconfident, he knew that. With a soft growl he lunged forward at Jason. He meant simply to grab a hold of Jason, digging his claws in deeply, then take a nice big bite out of the man's neck. He assumed Jason would attempt another futile slash. Meanwhile, the voice being projected turned to a slower and more boring voice, as the gospel truth of the bible was being played out for the Demon. There was a slight chance it would at least annoy him, if not due to it's nature then simply how boring it was.
Meanwhile, the sphere of light had vanished, leaving a small crater in the middle of the Dojo.Smoke rose around the dip, which had a perfect curve.

*As KB lunged at him he drew out one of his S&W, 44 calibure magnum and aimed right between the creature's eyes. In response to the sound of the bible leaping into his mind he simply said-* Amen I guess... *Before emptying all 6 bullets into the thing attacking him.*

With the sound of the children replaced by something infinitely less effective (but also infinitely more boring), Derek began to act. From his arms, the bandages began to unravel. Rather than falling to the floor, however, they began to float and coil and twist as if each was possessed by a will of its own. Four ends now flaied about in front of Derek. Two wrapped around behind him and, with a click, disconnected the chain wrapped around his waist. Each coil then lifted the chain to Derek's outstreched hands. Derek himself, during this time, had begun to chant and move his hands (and the remaining two bandage ends) about in front of him, tracing invisible sigils into the air. When the chain was placen into his hands, his chanting became louder and the motions of his hands were replaced by those of the bandages that had handed him the chain. When the chanting reached its peak, each of the four bandages flew to the floor in the four cardinal directions; North, South, East, and West. Derek, with a smirk on his face, threw one end of the chain into the ground, which it sank into with no resistance. The chain continued to fall, though Derek's other hand kept a tight hold on the other end. Derek sank to one knee, continuing to mutter the end of his spell.

*As KB made his lunge, Twi saw his chance. Taking off straight for KB with the energy ball gone, Twi would spin right before reaching KB and slash his sword right at KB's knees, intending to sever the lower legs while he likely wasn't paying attention to that part of his body. He was going low enough not to get hit by stray bullets. Twi would continue his dash until he was several good meters away from KB, whether the man's legs were really severed or not*

'What was this? The screams of innocent children, this... odd retoric... where... WHERE? GET OUT OF MY MIND!!!'
Cole screams at the voices in his hea,d adding to the din. There is no psychic backlash or anything like that, but slowly and surely Cole learns to regulate the maddening voices. Regulation slowly turns into suppression...

Seeing Jason draw the weapon, KB had reacted on blind instinct. He was long gone before the bullets were fired, leaving only a shell in his place. The bullets tore through his body, causing his head to become nothing more than blood and brain matter, and chips of bone, all of which sprayed out over the Dojo and near Twilight. As the body began to slump forward, Twilight's slash severed the legs. It dropped to the floor in pieces, then twitched slightly. Moments later, the body became like dust, collapsing under the weight of itself. The dust seemed nearly unreal though, as it seemed to be dragged into the cracks of the Dojo, and vanished. The voices in the Dojo stopped suddenly, except for one. The soft raspy voice tried to talk directly into Cole's mind.
Free of a body now, his presence had to react solely on his other skills. He put a lot of effort into breaking into Cole's mind. Though whether or not it was neccisity or for simple amusement was unknown. "Please don't ignore me.....I don't like to be ignored...." There was a childlike giggle from the raspy distant voice, as it tried to burrow into Cole's mind.

Derek continued muttering, not releasing his spell. If the coast was clear, then he'd drop it. But until then, he was ready to respond at the slightest provocation. It couldn't have been that easy. Someone who can accomplish molecular disintegration like that white orb did didn't just fall like that. There was some trick here...

*Twi turned and saw the dust float away, and only frowned* If he could come back last time he can probably do it again... *For now, Twilight just stood where he was and thought*
