Laughing outright this time, Draeken stood and walked over to the man. Standing, he was seven feet tall and well built. His head still didnt come near the rafters of the room, but he still would tower over most people in the guild. Extending his hand towards the man, he smiled. "The names Draeken, though I am actually three people right now. Long story. Who might you be, if you don' mind my asking?"

"Name's Derek. I'm a mage from the Fringe. I've been wandering around looking for a job. Thought this place was a construction company where I'd be able to get work, but I guess that didn't work out very well." Derek took the man's hand. The instant he touched him, he feeling he had before intensified. There was definitely something about this man his magic was resonating with. Derek remembered something Draekan had just said then. "Wait, you're three people? What do you mean exactly by that?" While still grasping the taller man's hand, he was getting some impression of what it meant, but wanted clarification. He didn't even notice the other man dropping from the ceiling.

Looking slightly confused as to how to explain it, Draeken kept Dereks hand gripped in his own. "Well, to put it simply, I was made evil by a man named Truinthil. Because of that I guess I decided to forcefully merge myself and my ancestor who resides in my head. After that I learned of a way to merge myself with him more completely, as well as with Truinthil and here I am today, only made good again. Otherwise it would still be pitch black outside and you likely dead." He grinned a bit nervously at that.

Draeken laughed at Cole, though and shrugged a bit. "I'm a vampire. While I can eat solid foods and get some nutrients from them, I need blood on a fairly regular basis to survive." He grinned slightly, his right fang just barely showing from between his lips.

His gaze went to Xol then and his eyes actually began to look as if when he blinked the man would be obliterated. "Yes. We do need to have a word, Xol." He said his name with what sounded to almost be hatred or disgust.

Ahsayuni blinked and swallowed hard. I thought vampires couldn't consume human foods but instead feed on humans and animals... she thought.

"A practically dead person with fangs and mind powers. They don't like sunlight or crosses...or wooden stakes..." she paused before continuing, "And there's a rumor about them not liking garlic either...but who does?" she shuddered.

Ahsayuni heard Xol's words and sighed. She didn't want to hear what he had to say nor did she care but what she didn't like was his tone when he talked about the 'newcommers'. She watched him from the corner of her eye. "Hm..."

Draeken was amused by the questions he was getting from everyone. "Well, to try and explain what a vampire is..umm..Pretty much, think of a vampire as a human with abnormal strength, speed, and other abilities and must ingest blood as a source of nutrients to survive. Most vampires cant go out in the daylight, but because of my lineage I am able to do so." He shrugged again then looked back to Derek.

"Well, yes. I have tons of memories and have a lot of skills and abilities that I didnt have before. As well as all their energies and magics combined in with mine to pretty much make me real strong, though my body still hasnt fully caught up to that." Glaring at Xol once again quickly, he sighed. "I fear though, that we will have to continue our conversation another time."

He released Derek's hand and looked at Xol with his whole attention now. "I know that you were healing the wounds that I myself inflicted upon my wife, but that doesnt make you much better in my eyes. But yes, the point is that Mastema has her now. So let us get to my mansion if you want private." He sighed and grumbled something under his breath as he opened a portal. He could travel through the shadows seeing as that would take less energy, but time was more important now. "After you."
