Rivven is nearly to the point of being a lame usually, ridiculously polite and not interested in a ton more than keeping himself and his family healthy and happy. No attitude on him whatsoever.

The only time he gets to be badass is during fights... which he doesn't necessarily find that often.

Maybe Rivven and Vahn can fight in the upcoming rounds. I think that could make for a serously epic fight.

Especially considering that they're stuck using a character who someone else built, not one they could have made or fixed up in touches to make them suit the player better.

Still, at least they roleplay well. I don't look to well on roleplaying characters straight from otherplaces, but if they're doing it well that's one thing in their favor.

Yup. They do seem to be excelling, and it's true they have material to study too, where as the rest of us rely solely on experience and personal creativity.

It's people apply their mind to the creations of people who create characters like these as a job vs people applying their minds to characters created by people who do it as one of their hobbies on a computer during free time.

I haven't read all their matches, and I won't claim I would or could match them until I have a chance to show it, but I think I've got enough mind to make up for whatever other lacks I have to at least make things interesting for my opponents. Hell, I've got next to no experience, so technically I should suck horribly. If I don't, I'd say that's enough to be proud of.

I don't rp combat much at all, I'm more into the other stuff generally, and I find it more rewarding to build a character on my own and watch him develope instead of taking someone else's work. Call it an artist's sin of pride, I guess.

Anyhow, you make it sound like Vahn's not an original character in that last one. I think he's mostly your own though, but perhaps with a bit of the original inspiration drawn from that title mentioned in his profile?
