In case you missed it, Trira: mewrose @Trira Anise managed a muffled 'thanks' as she took the tissues, and made liberal use of them. She cried for a couple minutes, and one point half-leaning/half-slumping against the offered shoulder. By the time the tears had eased up, the tissues were a mushy useless blob.
"We...knew who the one kid was so...they caught him, and eventually the others," she answered between hiccups and sniffles. "But..the Growlithe could never fight again...He was pretty much stuck at home." She tried to blow her nose again, but didn't have much luck with the sodden tissues.
"So that's why I only practiced stuff like Sing and Heal Bell with Felix. Halcyon's new and Sola's a rental, so they weren't any better at battling, and I didn't really know what to tell them anyway. So we didn't help much, and only got hurt...And to make it worse!" She started tearing up anew now. "When Felix was hurt, just looking at him break down, and I couldn't even see straight to help him! Someone else had to tend to him! Even though I knew how, and he was right in front of me, I couldn't even..." She buried her face in the soggy tissues in an effort to not start bawling again.

Jenn watched as Anise practically saturated the tissues to death, and attempted to pat her on the back comfortingly when the girl took up her offer and used her shoulder. She simply nodded and patted her, not really knowing what to do in the situation, but she knew it was better for Anise to get it all out.
Jenn gave another nod, and looked over at the Felix. She could imagine that growlithe that would never have recovered, but tried to smile comfortingly anyway. "You know, considering the circumstances, I'm just happy that growlithe got a chance to live. It could have been much worse..." Jenn, using the arm that wasn't occupied by the crying girl, managed to fish another few tissues out of her 'Survival Pack' and a roll of something that would have probably been used to wrap wounds in a normal circumstance. She passed the dampeners over to the girl, and continued to fish around in her pack for something to soak up tears. Eventually she found a square of fabic and passed that over too.
"I can see how that ordeal could have been tramatizing. It's okay though, he's okay now." She murmured, nodding toward the downed feline. "And that's what happens sometimes. People can't bear to see their loved ones in such agony, and don't want to feel as if they couldn't save them right, if something were to happen. It's natural for you to have broken down at the sight of such despair, especially because of everything you'd gone though..." Jenn simply trailed off, and patted the healer. Right now, what she needed was a friend, and nothing else.

@Trira Anise again accepted the tissues and other materials, and spent a few minutes just sniffling and wiping her eyes and nose as she recovered a bit. "Yeah," she finally said. "I just wish I could have done more..." She finally noticed that Felix was awake and leaned down to pet him for a moment before sitting back up.
After a moment she said, "I should probably learn how to fight better so we at least have a chance if something like this happens again. But the idea of battling still frightens me a bit."
