shandrel well, i know every state insurance i have been on, and the military insurance all require the same thing. *Shrugs* My state insurance was in MD. Before that I had an HMO with Aetna. And now Tricare Prime. I don't like how I'm "at the mercy" of the hospital... They call all the shots, not me...

I'm about to delete a bunch of people from FB... There's this one girl who is my age (20) and has a daughter a little younger than mine and she just posted pictures of her doing tequila shots... I'm sorry... But what a piece of trash! And I'm gonna delete the next person who posts a half naked picture of themself... No wonder there is a porn site called FBsluts.........

I hate California period. Politicians are a bunch of anti-gun fascist pinkos. As if enforcing strict gun control laws is going to reduce crime. It's like saying banning cars or alcohol is going to reduce drunk driving.

Ethereal Cereal I hate California period. Politicians are a bunch of anti-gun fascist pinkos. As if enforcing strict gun control laws is going to reduce crime. It's like saying banning cars or alcohol is going to reduce drunk driving. The banning-alcohol thing didn't work out so well during prohibition, but hypothetically, if we all went back to horse- and oxen-drawn carts, the animals could do the driving and we could drink all we want! ^_^ My project from my last shift at work:

The animal rights activists would be reeling if that happened, heh.
Also, dig the picture that you made. I agree with that as well, just because we're able to do something doesn't necessarily mean we should, and if we decide to do it, it doesn't mean we can abuse it.

Making something illegal will only make it more enticing. I mean really. Do you think gangs will get rid of their guns if they become illegal? Nope. Crime will only go up because innocents will not be able to defend themselves. Drinking will increase. Moonshine anyone?
The government's should regulate things, not try to control them.

Making guns illegal doesn't stop anyone from getting them--it just stops the government from collecting taxes on them. So who's the real looser? razz
When I get my ranch, I'm going to get a high-powered rifle and a high-powered hand gun at the same time. Since I'm going to be having a lot of animals on my ranch and I'm going to be living way out in the sticks, I need to 1--protect my property, and 2--be able to swiftly and mercifully put down any animal that needs it, like a horse with a broken leg, a dog with rabies, etc. It's just good farm sense.

Regarding handguns, big things come in small packages. Get a Tokarev, or something chambered in 7.62x25mm. Ballistics tests have been done where they've test fired various calibers from .22LR all the way up to .44 magnum on the military helmets issued to the Army boys of today. The only round that penetrated the helmet like there was nothing there was the 7.62 Tokarev. Everything else bounced off.
Same thing with the rifle. You don't want anything too powerful, because then it'd be impractical. No Barret .50 for you. Get something chambered in either .30-06 or .308 Winchester, those are not only relatively inexpensive ammunition types but are man-stoppers at the same time.

Exactly. I really wish I could have a ranch. It has always been my dream, but the way everything is going I don't see it happening...
My husband really wants a .50 Desert Eagle. I'm absolutely fine with that, as long as I can handle the thing. I've seen the recoil and a bunch of morons hit themselves in the face, but I've shot many guns so I'm pretty sure I know what to expect. He also wants a .50 sniper rifle. He's been drooling over a few lately... But I'd rather have the handgun for homedefense right now. Or I could just use his old bolt action 16 guage. But the damed case has combination locks... With the circular dial...

Computer shopping is going pretty well actually. Geek Squad said it is most likely the motherboard crying So I've been making a list of computers I want to look in to and compare deals with everyone. Plus, I found a PS3 bundle for $150! With $50 rebate! And it goes till June so I'll have time to save for that too.
HP G62 And it comes in purple! XD
A Gateway
Toshiba Satellite
I'm really liking the Toshiba. Especially since it has 4 GB ram and 500 GB harddrive and is less than the others. It seems to have a pretty good processor too, even though I do not know much about them, but I know intell is good and popular.

Intel is good for laptop processors, and I can attest to the quality of the Toshiba Satellite, since I have one and I've had no problems. I'd go with it, because it has more features for less money.
