So we were talking about stereotypes in English class.
There was a list of stereotyped groups and we had to list some of the stereotypes within those groups.
Women and African Americans were my favorites.
"Okay, so what are some stereotypes of women?"
"LOUD"
"TALKATIVE
"BELONG IN THE KITCHEN"
Etc.
"African Americans?"
"FRIED CHICKEN"
"WATERMELON"
"KOOL-AID"
"STEALING STUFF"
"RUN FASTER"
Etc.
I lol'd.

xD I remember a project in one of my Art classes in High School that was similar to that...We split up into groups and were given a social 'class' or ethnicity. Mine got African American...Apparently, the first thing to come to mind for an African American in my group was a Handsome Successful Business owner named John. That vote was NOT unanimous...haha!
