Conversely, it could mean he knew all along and just didn't care. No harm in a mere photograph, after all... But still, sunbathing? Kratos doesn't seem like the type to go out of his way to engage in such...hmm...*

*The confetti can believe what it wants, but even badasses need to relax every once in a while. Not to mention, the warm, comforting rays of the sun coupled with the rhythmic splashing of the waves on the shore could induce a relaxed state that would render the thought of something as trivial as a photograph rather inconsequential.* Zaul Oleander Part o' me wants ta step in, but th' other part o' me thinks this's kinda...really funny.

I can honestly say I do not recall spending a day like this. Furthermore, I can see the absence of a telltale detail and thus why the pile of confetti is thrown off.
