wolf4life13 Shadow sensed a change in the atmosphere and said in a soft voice. Is she gone? As he spoke he relaxed. That had been an interesting experience. "Yes she is gone." 9 said as she sat up very slowly to see who was talking. "And who are you sir?" she asked as she tried to focus on his face. She was still worn from the use of the sword.

9-Lives "Hello Hashii... long time no see. Sorry I haven't been around." 9 said from her bed, looking up at the ceiling. She had a soft smile as she knew the guild would fight to keep the place and each other safe. *She looked over at Nine and stuck the key in her shirt pocket, walking over to Nine she kneeled beside her* Hey Nine, Are you ok? You don't look so good... *She held her hand softly*

Shadow leaned forward and asked in a calm voice Are you mistress 9? I am Shadow and I believe I need to speak with you about joining this company. I will await your discretion if that is your wish. As he spoke he bowed slightly but did not take his golden eyes from those around him.

9 did want her sword but she shook her head no. The last thing she wanted right now was to have it will her to heal some more today and spend for of her life doing it.
“Give it to me later please. I have my daggers and whip. That should be enough to take care of anything.”
She replied to him in a soft tired voice.
"I’m fine Hashii, just did to much today."
9 said before turning to Shadow
"Please... 9 is fine. And you won't need to wait.... welcome to the Black Company."

Shadow smiled slightly and said. Thankyou 9. And if I may ask who was that odd person I just acted like a common pet to appease? She did not seem like someone that should get her way. Shadow's eyes flashed for a moment to gray before returning to their usual golden shade.

Slowly making her way down the stairs, Aeris yawns just slightly. She nods to those in the room before making her way towards the kitchen and making herself something to eat.

“Sadly that was Andareal. We have Forge to think for her. I’m not quite sure what she is but she is deadly and not very nice.”
9 said to Shadow as she stretched a little. She looked around at everyone in the room then sighed. She reached out for her nightstand as she tried to stand up. Her legs where week but she didn’t fall. A look of relief flashed across her face.
“What’s with your eyes Shadow? Why do they change colors?”

Shadow let out a deep baritone chuckle that removed the last of the tension from his body as he replied I'm a natural shape shifter and ever since I can remember my eyes have changed to reflect my mood. I was told when I was so young I can barely remember that it was a sign I was the reincarnation of a druid monk named Ratsu.
As he spoke of being young his eyes changed to a dark gray and seemed to flicker with tendrils of blue, giving them the effect of a storm. Shadow shook his head and smiled lightly but his eyes remained gray a while longer before gradually turning golden once more.
But that's neither here or now. He said with a care free attitude.
