Nodding, Kalore hid the worried look behind a smile. He pointed to him to be the one to choose what they do, but then he cocked his head to the side. The elf closed his eyes, his ears hearing something. Before Monty could say anything, Kalore was up in one of the branches, looking at something. What it was, even the elf didn't know for sure. What the hell?

Monty nodded but watched Kalore leave into the branches. He must have heard something. The demon's hearing was good but not as advanced as the elves. He stood their tense. Looking and hearing and feeling for anything out of place. Monty opening his mouth to ask Kalore but shut it quickly. The fact that Kalore was mute disabled information coming to him. 'Damnit. I'm going to kill that elf scum for this.' He vowed and shook his head. "Signal what's wrong Kalore." He said quietly knowing that he could hear him.

The elf wished that he could tell Monty what was wrong, but he couldn't. Instead of answering, he gave a shrug, telling him that he didn't know. Kalore looked at the tower and found Kyin. The man was on his feet looking in the same direction as him. Wing beats. That was what was heard, and that wasn't good. Jumping down, Kalore wrote, "I hear wings...But I don't see anything. Lord Kyin is watching for them, but-" Head to the side once again, Kalore froze. He didn't hear anything. Dropping the paper, he jumped back up into the branches and looked around. There was nothing.

Monty raised a brow and then thought....'Wing beats?' That was an odd thing. He picked up the notepad and read it. 'Wings.....It can't be birds because he wouldn't have acted on it....Unless there are Harpies in this place.' He shudder at the thought of going up against Harpies again. "Kalore...Go back and I'll scout the area." He said and looked around. There was this feeling of unease creeping up his spine.

Raising a brow, Kalore had his hands on his hips as he shook his head, "Hell no," was obviously what the man mouthed out. Taking back his notebook he wrote, "Not on your own. We stay in sight of Lord Kyin. We'll both scout just in case something comes up and it requires a fight. Got it?" Even though he was mute, Kalore wasn't going to just sit there and be useless. Monty needed his ears but he also needed someone that could get help or fight as he got help.

Monty rolled his eyes. "You act like our boss. A pain in the a**." He said but nodded. "Just know that I will not be responsible for burning the enemy to death." He said. "Now let's go." He didn't want to waste time incase whatever Kalore heard and possibly saw was still around, what ever it was. 'There are some many creatures out there with wings.' He thought.

Rolling his eyes back, Kalore placed the notepad in his bag and quickly was leading the demon around the tower, listening closely for anything. He knew that his grandfather would be watching for whatever it was that was making the sound, but Kalore also knew that it had wings, but wasn't that large, maybe double the size of a man at most. But there were multiple powerful beings that could be like that. Harpies, Elementals, Dracokins...Kalore prayed that it wasn't a Dracokin. If it was...Thank the Goddess that Zaine was there...

Monty went through the wide array of creatures that had wings. He crossed out the smallest ones and was left with the big creatures. Of course, he placed Angels and Demons for last because not one of them would be in this place. There usual haunts were the cities or in caves because some of them liked to be isolated from the general public. Unless things have been changed that he wasn't aware of...Which could be a bad thing for alot of people. Shaking that aside, he looked around for anything out of the ordinary.

Stopping, Kalore listened once again, his eyes widening. The sound was that of scaled wings. There was only one creature that had scaled wings and was of that size. Mouthing out a curse, Monty was grabbed and the two narrowly missed a claw coming towards both of them. Of course. It was a Dracokin. Monty was taken back to the entrance but they were stopped by a woman. She had the signature blue hair and golden eyes of her family as she leaned against the door, "No Kalore...No telling who's here..."

Monty held back curses and then he looked at the woman with a raised brow. Who the hell did this female think she was? "Stand aside woman." He growled. How the hell can Kalore even tell anyone anything? There was only some much a person can write on a piece of paper. If this female was what he thought she was then he was having a rare meeting with a Dracokin. One that he wouldn't have a problem taking out with his own fist or arrows.

The demon was ignored as the woman took a step towards him and looked at Kalore. "That was our cousin, Jasper. He doesn't understand that elves aren't toys..." Kalore growled as a man with the same blue hair but dark eyes came down by them and eyed him as if he was food. The woman shook her head and spoke in a language that neither of them would know and he nodded, taking off again. "I'm sorry, Kalore...I've heard about your voice, and I apologize. Brother could do nothing?" Kalore shook his head, mouthing out a negative. She sighed, "I see...Well I'm just here to get Jasper back...He got out of his confinement but I think I have him back under control." Kalore nodded and waved at her. "Please don't tell Zaine that he was here...Please?" He nodded, "Promise."

Monty narrowed his gaze on the two but kept his mouth shut. He watched and looked over his shoulder and relaxed abit. Thankfully it wasn't something that meant to attack them otherwise he was going to get into his warrior mode and kick some arse. Monty stood there in silence looking around incase that Jasper Dracokin wanted to swipe at their heads again.

Once Jasper was gone, the woman sighed and smiled at the demon, "I'm sorry for such a horrible entrance...I'm Alice, Alice Venom. Ziggy and Zaine's sister. You are?" Kalore smiled at her and then at Monty, showing that she wasn't a threat. Well, as long as she kept her knives in place, Alice wasn't a threat... "Is that one woman....Gambler right? Is she okay?" Kalore nodded. "And the others? That other angel dude and crazy...I mean Joker?" He grinned and nodded. "Okay...good. Sorry we didn't stay...But Ziggy was worried about me." She laughed nervously and Kalore nodded, a small smile on his lips. He remembered how beat up she had been and didn't blame her brother for worrying.

Monty calmed down and noddd to her. "Monty." He said simply, not really thinking that he needed to get into titles and it was pretty obvious that he was with Gambler's group but if Alice didn't know then he would be polite and tell her should she want to know. "Shall we go inside?" He said motioning for the door.

Alice looked nervous and shook her head, sighing. "I wish I could...But I can't. I'm not even supposed to be here, but tell Lord Kyin what was going on please, Kalore. Or...um...Sorry." She looked down while Kalore sighed and rested a hand on her shoulder, smiling. "It's fine." Another smile and the two hugged. "I'm glad the others are okay...But like I said, don't tell bro?" Kalore nodded and soon Alice was running off. Sighing, Kalore shrugged, letting Monty decide what to do next.
