The side of Allure's lip twitched slightly as she tried to control her desire to burst out laughing at Gloryr's exploding rock display. She looked around for a rag and notice one that was dirty on one edge but mostly clean. 'That'll have to do..' she thought as she picked it up and walked to Gloryr. There, she held up the rag and offered to help him clean up the mess. With her other hand she covered her mouth which coughed lightly from the traces of dirt still surrounding them in the air. Secretly she also did it to keep control of herself as she was nearly about to laugh again. It was simply too odd a sight.

"Thank you, madame Allure" Gloryrness said, accepting the rag. After cleaning his eyelids and the area around his mouth with it, He shook his hair a bit. Causing small parts of the sand to fly. "All these times in the mines. And I can't do something as simply as hollowing a rock. Even with my powers." He said. Followed by a loud laughter, that could easily attract more people. A laugh like this could brighten up your whole day. "Perhaps. Madame. You could hollow some of those rocks for me?" He said. After being able to control his laughter again. "If we fill it with this sand. And spread it before we attack. The enemies will be blinded by the dust. They won't know what's get them, and were from."
Gloryrness let out a long yawn. "But it's getting late. We should go and have some rest."
(( I just realised. They travel trough a DARK portal. Gloryrness second element is LIGHT/Holy. ..Hehe. ))

Cobra_X The mine was almost complete now. Even Cobra didn't know how deep it was at this point, he had lost count of the distance after the first mile, he just kept focusing his energies on dropping the floor while simultaneously shifting the earth and stone away into the surrounding surfaces. He was very careful to avoid any sewer pathways of other major pockets in the earth, but the rock and stone had to go somewhere, and so he was constantly throwing it and combining it with the ground to the side, which was the cause of the immense tremors in the area. The creature was almost nearly re-formed at this point, and as Cobra looked up, he was worried he wouldn't make it. Gloryness was doing what he could with his incantation, probably some sealing technique by what he had spoken of earlier...but Cobra knew nothing of the man's strange element or powers. ...when the beast was reformed, Cobra heard a roar that pulsated an uncomfortable wave through his body, but then was surprised to see Straven leap from nowhere and drive his sword directly into the beast's head. Cobra would never have thought he could have summoned that energy from anywhere, he had assumed him as out for the count, but it would seem that Straven's determination was greater then he had ever thought. The creature wasn't expecting it either apparently, as Straven's attack succeeded to distract it and cause it stumble again, but not before it managed to create a claw like protrusion that scraped across Straven's chest, causing him to bleed greatly as he crashed to the ground. "Now! Seal it!" , just as Cobra screamed the words, the floor beneath the creature burst open, leading down miles into the ground as the creature tried to clamor out of the rubble. It soon found itself completely restricted as Gloryness' incantation held it fast as the creature was helplessly dragged down into the nearly bottomless chasm beneath it. The creature screamed as it fell, clamoring at the seal, but helpless as it fell into the darkness of the makeshift mine... "I Can Never Die!!! I WILL BE BACK!", but the sound was soon drowned out as Cobra slid several layers of tomb-like slabs of stone over the top of the mine shaft, continuing the same type of slabs every 20 ft down for at least 25 layers to assure that no one would be able to dig far enough down to uncover any part of it on their own, or fall into it by accident. The battle finally over, Cobra dropped his arms and the aura around him dissipated. He fell to his knees and immediately felt completely drained, but was able to keep himself upright at least. It could not be seen past his sleeves, but his left arm would be completely disabled, hanging limp at his side and colored a deep purple/blackened color. Marks, veins, and strange symbols of the same color would cover his entire left side of his body for the next few days and be a constant drain on him, and his arm would be unusable for about that same period of time. Crawling over to Straven slowly, Cobra looked over the man, looking for some sign of life, but the man's breathing had all but stopped, and he could see no real hope for him, but he would wait until the last second he would draw breathe...it was the least he could do for the man who had given his life for the cause. Death, Is only the beginning. Salem Sat there, Alone. it was impossible to see, and he could tell by the weight of the stone around him he was several miles under the earth. He smiled to himself. Though he was alone, and would very likely never see the light of day again, he knew what had happened. He knew he had gone rampant, knew the souls he had devoured, and that he would have to atone for what the beast inside him had done. But that was all ok, everything was ok. He was away now, far from anyone he could harm, deep underground, in a prison made by one of the few people he regarded as close to a friend. He smiled wider, knowing that with his imprisonment, at least a few of his companions managed to survive the encounter, and that, was enough. Salem felt oddly at peace. more so then he had in a long time. Since long before he had sacrificed himself to the shadows as a young man, a deal with the dark forces he had tried, and failed to control. In his death he had been reborn, but not as a savior like he had so longed to be, but a monster. A monster who was only capable of death and destruction. He laughed to himself. " Lets see you consume someone now" He laughed still longer for a moment. When a voice spoke to him. " Well aren't we chipper? Fool, neither of us shall ever feed again, I wonder how long it will be before we try and consume one another...." It seemed odd to Salem that the voice should come not from within his own head, but rather the other side of the dark chamber. It would seem the creature was no longer locked within himself, that was a pleasant thought indeed. he wondered then, what he had become in its absence. His sense of peace and well being grew stronger again, he even felt a bit euphoric. He found himself laughing, as he tried to place his head in his hands he could not find them, they passed through his face. Curious, he made to stand but felt no legs beneath him, yet still he rose. He drifted lightly in the dark space a broad smile touched his lips as his vision grew clear. He saw the dark beast he had grown to hate sitting in the center of the dark hole that had come to be their home. It growled and muttered to itself in anger, Salem, though he had once hated the creature, could not help but feel pity for it.
He Shook his head and look down to himself, he glowed faintly his feet floated just above the ground. He recognized his form as one of a spirit, or a 'Ghost' as they were commonly known. A thought occurred to him as he reached for the stone roof of his cage, he drifted upwards towards it. When his fingers made contact, instead they passed clear through, he drifted yet farther upward. He heard the beast cry out in anger as he slipped away from the stone hole he had come to know as home. He drifted for what seemed like hours until softly, he flowed up from the surface of the earth.
Around him lay the ruined streets of the south of Paris, though he could not bring it upon himself to place blame for the atrocity to him. The creature had caused this, not him. He stood there in silence until ahe felt a hand drop upon his shoulder. A familiar voice said. " Salem? " He turned to see a very tall man, his skin shone an iridescent silver, Salem recognized him as the spirit he had seen following Allure when they first met. "I am he. Do I know you sir?" The silver man smiled and patted Salem on the shoulder. " It does not surprise me you don't recognize your old traveling companion, what with the changes I underwent after I left you that day." Salem smiled and nodded. " I thought I recognized your voice old friend. Tell me, " Salem said looking around at the ruble and seeing the multitude of spirits wandering out from them. ", What is death like old friend?" Sol shrugged. "Death? My friend, Death is only the begging."
And so the two walked with the others, the spirits followed Salem as a lamb does a Shepard, Sol standing tall like a sentinel in the soft light. They took those shattered souls of the innocents of Paris and lead them off into the horizon, to find peace and rest for them all.
((Yes it occurred to me we could have just left Salem in the hole with the beast, but something about it didn't sit well with me. I felt both he and Sol needed some closer after the really violent ways they both went out. So voila. Hope you enjoyed it smile ))

Sam trailed after Havessa, muttering under his breath and stopped when she did. Thinking quickly Sam darted into the door frame and hid behind the connecting wall. he pulled his knife out of his boot and angled the mirrored blade so that he could see what the woman was doing, but she couldn't see him. Sam cursed lightly under his breath and sheathed his knife, making sure the sound echoed "is there something you aren't telling us Havessa?" Sam said and pointed to the bag.

Havessa was interrupted from her practices when Sam called towards her. She had whipped the sunglasses off and jumped back towards her bag. Shoving them deeply in, she made sure it was secured tightly about her waist.
"If you're asking if I am an enemy, I can assure you Samuel, I am not. And if you are not asking that, then what are you asking."
She turned towards the door and saw the subtle glimpse on light reflecting from the mirror-like blade.
"You might as well come out, I know where you are."
Her last vision due to the scale had answered one of her questions when she recalled a memory. She now knew from when she came. But not what year exactly, or where, or what she is, or how she got here. Those were all answers she still sought. She wasn't sure if she should feel safe, or not. She didn't know much about this man, or if he was even trustworthy. The atmosphere created by the tone of his voice made her feel on edge. She had taken a step back from him, a safe distance away from those crushing effects of his gravity manipulation, or at least according to what she had seen.

(Last thing Gloryrness said, was that "We" should have some rest. So, Yeah. Gloryrness has slept)
Gloryrness has had a bad dream, Which made him moody. Stretching out, he slowly stood up. Put his hand trough his beard to 'put it down' again. Useally when he slept ,his beard -which isn't one of the shortest, but not that long either- would go in all sort of funny directions. And let out a long yawn to finish it off. Then he put his armor back on, and walked out of the room. Walking down the hall, he saw a familiar face. It was Sam, The man he'd seen earlier while he was in the hall with Cobra. The man that also followed them to the other room. This was one of the group, Gloryrness knew. Walking over to him, he noticed the light arguement, but just ignored it.
Tapping Sam on his back, he just kept walking. As old as Gloryrness could be, he still had some sense of humor. As he was walking on, he also noticed Havessa. The girl that he also had seen earlier. Realising that Havessa was the one Sam was argueing with, Gloryrness stood still. Cocking his head slightly, before speaking: "Fighting eachother is not adviced, tall ones. Rather spare your powers for this fight we'll have. Retrieving a castle is not easy, mates. I speak from experience" He said in an annoyed tone.
((Someone had to break the silence. Sorry if this ruins your plans. xp ))

Havessa glanced down to look at Gloryness in the eyes. Her motions were unflinching. "We were not about to fight if that's what you think you see sir. To fight each other is pointless I understand."
Surely Sam wouldn't leave alone what he had just seen, her sunglasses and the odd clothing in her precious bag. But Gloryness had just perhaps saved her an awkward moment, for the time being. Havessa relaxed a little bit and moved back into main hide out. On her way, she stopped right beside Sam, facing the opposite way of him. Gazing up slightly at the ceiling of the sewers, her words that flowed from her lips were quiet, almost a whisper.
"We all have our secrets Samuel, and for a reason."
Without another thought she kept going towards the entrance to the hide out and sought that room full of outfits. It was time she shed her recognizable clothes for something more suiting now that she was considered a wanted criminal in Paris. It looked like training was out of the question in the sewers if she was just going to keep getting interrupted. Perhaps she could train in the room while she looked for a new outfit.

((Once again. Sorry for messing with suposed plans. But I'm trying to get this moving again.))
Gloryrness stood for a while. Looking in the direction that Havessa walked in. Then to Sam. Then back again. He decided to follow Havessa. After following her for a while, speed-walking, he finally caught up with her.
Looking up (in Havessa's direction. He's walking left of her), he said nothing. But kept walking by her side. After walking at her side for a while, he asked: "What was that all about, tall one?" "If you don't mind ol' Brodon asking. That is."
((Incase you all forgot. His last name is Brodon. So incase of saying 'Gloryr' to him, while speaking to him. (Which is pretty annoying. xp ) you can say Brodon. Or ofcourse, Gloryrness.))

Havessa let out a sigh as Gloryness walked along side her. She slowed her pace a little so he could walk at a more comfortable pace.
"Despite how things may look, none of us in this group knows anything about each other. We're all strangers you know. Some volunteered out of good will to help Allure, and others, were forced to with no other place to go. You are a dwarf correct? The world is less forgiving than it used to be, anyone who is different from the norm is shunned, feared, and sought out to be destroyed."
Havessa stopped herself momentarily.
"My goodness, I'm babbling on. Sam was confronting me because he saw something that is not of the norm, even for us who have special abilities. It is my secret, and my quest."
Havessa moved into the room full of costumes and other clothes. Leaving the door open in case Gloryness decided to follow. She stopped in the middle of the room and closed her eyes and began concentrating. A rattling slowly began to emerge and the locks on chests began to shake. Concentrating harder, the locks popped open and the chests flew open. Opening her eyes again, she glanced around to see her work.
"ahh I may get a hang of this ability yet." She said mostly to herself since she didn't really get much opportunity to train. She will surely rejoin the others once she is adorned in new attire. Shuffling through fabrics and items, she kept in mind the environment of their destination.

(( Do remember that Gloryrness is from around 1500. Or maybe even another few 100s back. So, for all he knows. Those glasses and clothes are normal. wink ))
Gloryrness saw the clothes in the room. And decided to wait outside of the door. Incase the girl would want to dress herself in different clothes. Gloryrness was a polite man. And wouldn't want to come across rude. So he simply did not speak, until he was spoken to. He wouldn't like someone starting a conversation while he was dressing himself either.
He sat down on the floor. One hand laying flat on his left, the other on his right. He could feel the vibration of people walking trough the many halls. He closed his eyes, And was sort of meditating. Concentrating on his hearing, he waited.
((Also. Kokeshi. We're not in the sewers. Just in an underground hide-out. Sure, The sewers are part of it. As in, Maybe you'll need to walk trough it for a bit. But that's it. I noticed you mentioned Sewers several times in your posts. ))

((Yes, but if you read a few posts back I did mention that Havessa headed to the entrance - meaning the entrance of the hide-out. So she went back into the hide out from the sewers.))
Havessa promptly emerged from the room, looking completely different from before, only her face was recognizable.
She gazed to her side where Gloryness waited for her to come back out. Once the door behind her had closed, she held a hand out to the polite dwarf in a manner to shake hands.
"Let's cut down on how many strangers there are amongst us shall we? My name is Havessa, It is an honor to meet one as unique as yourself."
It was soon time to rejoin the others as staying in the hideout too long might attract attention from outside forces. It was almost time to move out.

Gloryrness stood up and reached for her hand. The leather of his glove pressed against her hand in a firm handshake. "Gloryrness Brodon." he paused "Well met."
Letting out a short, hardly noticable sigh. He said; "I shall ignore the comment on me being unique." His eyes now looking down. A sad expression appeared on his face. "Long ago, there were many different races. Many of them living in peace. It saddens me that I'm the only one of a different race here."
"But I am here for a reason. I am here because the Gods wanted me to fulfil my task. To cease Chaos. That's why they granted me these powers.
I should not complain, for I am honoured to be able to help every living creature on this great world."
The dwarf now looked at Havessa, straight in the eyes. Gloryrness's eyes showed hope. They would win this battle, and many others. They had to.
"We should get going" He softly spoke.

The mention of ignoring her "unique" comment kind of made her chuckle a little to herself. They were all unique after all.
"You said "from long ago", may I ask how long ago exactly? That is, if you know. I'm afraid I'm having difficulty in figuring out what time I am from as well." She admitted with a bit of secrecy to her voice.
She wasn't sure if she could really bring herself to believe in a higher being, but dared not to argue it with this religiously controlled era. They walked along the halls, passing its inhabitants here and there, only some glanced their way.
