I will second that Purgatory Flame ..part ...Purgatory is like hell right. So hell's flame sound a lot stronger than ...Salamandre which is simply a lizard ....or is that more of a newt?
Well Salamandre was actually more a reference to the mythical meaning, not the amphibious salamander.

Oh, and Tuski is right that a Purgatory Flame would be more of a cleansing fire instead of the fires of hell. Purgatory is supposed to be the space between heaven, hell, and earth. Those whom had committed sins, but still retained the potential to enter into heaven would first enter into purgatory to be cleansed of those sins. Or so it says.
