"What now? I never know the answer to that question. Not get killed, I suppose is a good one." Crossing her arms lightly. "All my doings require waiting games. One to have his mind about him," Glancing in the direction that the Chimera should be following, "And one can't keep his mind straight to get the prize. Both men. Somehow that makes sense I'm sure. Not to you...but to me certinally."

Jae wasn't paying mind to blood, though she understood the need to get it off to the best that they could...otherwise things may be attracted to the lingering scent of dried on blood and then more bad things would happen. Didn't need that. Thusly she merely rested against him as he deemed his task complete, breathing in that comforting scent of his. Her words made her tilt her head some to get a look at him though. That was not an expected question at all. It wasn't a remark of reminder of how foolish she was or how much damage to this mission she was causing, or a lecture on how she needed to think things through before doing them, or that risks were stupid in such cases. "Yes...but you were there and still here now." The statement duly followed by a nuzzle against his chest. She certinaly never expected him to save her every time she got herself in trouble...but somehow she felt that when he was around she was always going to be okay.

Man bashing, joy. "There's a subtle insult in there for my whole entire gender that I take with a heavy heart and a raised chin." Glancing around the deck once more and resting his hands lightly on her shoulders to rub away the ache he could sense building there. Of course his hand was slightly below where Chy was resting and if that bird pecked him, he swore there would be falcon roasting across a spit tonight.

"Which means you should tell me yours." Wasn't that what he'd been spouting about earlier? She didn't like it when rules changed at all. "So what'cha made of then?" But another blink and she bounced in response to that. "You really are silly, aren't you? Now you want me to be a pet."

"Of course, it's Logan." But then it was back to the question and he raised an eyebrow at the little ball of energy. "I already told you but if your looking for a different answer I'm afraid I do not have it." He didn't really know, all he knew was he was made of a dragon and a human. But then he sighed, she still did not get what he meant and it was getting frustrating. "Alright let me try that again, do you work for her or is she your creator?"

A raise of a hand as if in silencing motion and a light look over her shoulder...the wrong shoulder, but she did look back where he was. "Please, don't baby me. You may have sixteen years on me but I'm not a child. Your concern however I suppose is appreciated." Thusly pulling away from him and starting down below deck. "I still have some travel food if you want some." Reverie did sound absolutely lovely, not that she'd admit that.

Hunter put down his spyglass, and took over the helm from richards, leaving the crew to do their jobs or take their leisure time how they would. which for Desdemona meant visiting Teach in the brig.


Desdemona went there, watching the older human casually sitting on the bench seating, and drumming his fingers lightly once she arrived he looked up at her, but didn't move. they watched eachother a moment, adn when it was clear that she wasn't opening the door, his eyes moved from her back to whatever he was looking at.

"You and Hunter go back a long time. despite recent circumstances, I want to know if you know anything about this situation."


Teach got himself up, casually putting his hands behind his back.

"No. what you want to know, really, is what was the bargain he struck. not what I know about this whole affair. But the only ones who know that are Captains Deacon and Jones. I only led him to the Prince, I didn't stick around in this little drama longer than that."


Desdemona frowned and crossed her arms.

"Surely you have some idea."


"None. Not every secret of his is supposed to be known to you, and vice versa. people you know too well become for of a hinderance then a help. and are certainly more dull. you wouldn't want to have him think your dull, do you?"

She tossed him a wrapped package before she plopped down in her hammock, Chylithair moving to her forearm from her shoulder as she did so and she promptly allowed him to one of the support beams that he liked to roost on, though he was watching the pair still just like always. "Feel free to have it all."

And apparently he had caught onto her not admiting things. Frankly he seemed confused by such things happening. "I did not argue with you about reverie, I argue being treated like I don't know what's best for me." She'd always been confrontational on that part, a product of her childhood and her circumstances she supposed. Just like her fondness of necromancy that was still strange to most, save those that truly knew her. "Just because I can't see as everyone else can, does not mean I can not know and take care of things just as everyone else can."

Cynical, accusing, quick to jump to a conclusion if what she had to work with wasn't satisfactory with her...yup she was her father's daughter alright. "It's almost everyone's favorite past time once they know." Because it was...the moment people knew they instantly treated her like she could do nothing for herself despite how earlier show of actions before said knowledge was shared may contrast opinions otherwise. A light frown through all of his words though, wanting to find them mocking but knowing his tone wasn't one of mocking. He made it so hard to be grumpy and nonchalant about everything. "That's your mother showing through. You care about anything that may show health unwellness...unless you're shanking somebody on purpose." Personally she didn't know how she liked that either...she knew what Zahara had tried to do and wasn't sure that she had ever forgiven the woman or at least set the grudge to rest. "Forgive me though for not taking your caring seriously...I barely know you as is."
