Hitomi fought herself back up to the top one last time and collapsed, struggling to not pay attention to the pain in her arm. Or, rather, the place it had used to be. She sat up and put her back to the tree, sighing and unwrapping her arm -making sure to be hidden from the windows as she did so- so as to evaluate the damage. Not bad. Just a little bit of straining. She decided that it wasn't enough to warrant another trip to the hospital, and waited for the bleeding to stop -not long at all- so that she could replace the bandages. Once she was finished, she climbed back into the tree and sat on the same branch as before, in full view of the house, staring ahead. her right side was to the house, and when the wind moved, it showed her 'sharingan' in the direction of the house, not like she was caring at this point. The only people in that house were allies, and it didn't really matter if they thought her glass eye was real or not. It was made to fool people, and that doesn't include her own people.

Shin was starting to get the hang off the lingo, that was always a good sign. Keiko smiled, "It's my pleasure." She looked for blankets, sheets, a good pillow, and other things that might make him feel more...at home, as she awaited an answer from the boy. As the boy started to speak she would look up, she waited his hands wonder to the locket, At least he has something special to remember his real family... She thought back to her mother's necklace, which she had recently lost because of carelessness.

Keiko looked back down and grabbed out some bright pure white sheets, she stopped and thought for a second, "Ah, okay. So you need more clothes..." She began thinking again, "Well, formal wear is taken care of, now you just need clothes...normal clothes." She smiled at him, and looked down to pick up a smooth ice blue blanket, it would be perfect for the warm days and the cool nights of Iwa.

Keiko made a sign that Shin should follow her, she shut the closest door with her foot, and made her way to "Shin's" room. She opened the door and dropped the blankets right in front of the door, from there she walked to the bed and tore off all of Mai's blankets. She rolled the blankets into a ball and tossed it into a corner of the room. She walked back to the door where the blankets were, and in seconds the bed was made, just for Shin. She smiled, "Now...cooking!" She gave a little laugh.

Henka Shizuka

She quickly turned around to him as Rai wiped away the tears. "If you want...I'll talk to Harumi if she comes back...I'll speak to her." She was confused, but she understood what Shishimaru had to say. "I understand...living with the guilt of leaving her sick mother." Shizuka turned to Raisuke and bowed. "I'm sorry for my sisters rude action against you...But I still promise if she tries to lay a hand on you that I'll be the one to take the hit. I guess...hehe...try to think of a way not to piss her off." It was perfectly understandable, not seeing the ones you cared about for ten years and the fear of something happening to them...it gets to you. "Also Rai-kun, thank you for protecting me this whole day. I really appreciate it!"

(bah...sorry for the crappy post, for some reason it was hard for me to make a post ;_; )

"Well dear.. I did say that to her, which I shouldn't have. But I will never let you take a hit for me, then there would be no point protecting you." He would give her a little wink to mess with her. He would simple nod to her and wait for her to rise up from the bow. As she would rise she might find a small kiss to her forehead. His lips warm, especially surrounded by the cool night air. He would then smile and pull back. "Now you head on home. I am not going to walk you home, because your sister might be there by now. Don't need anymore drama for you tonite. Sleep well." He would start to back up and then pivot on his heel. Ready to walk home himself.

((I didn't get any message... O.o Pm box wasn't working perhaps?))

Shin tilted his head slightly to one side, momentary confusion sweeping over his pale gray-blue orbs. “Nor...mal?” The word came slowly, unsuredly. Shin’s own clothes could be considered at least semi-formal attire. A lot like the Hyuuga clan, they created well-fitting light flowing robes highly similar to traditional kimonos and yukatas, which would allow for the maximum speed of movement. Of course, they were much less elaborate in design comparison and were made to be as simple possible while still holding a degree of elegance: shinobis were supposed to emphasize stealth after all.

Yet still, the young Hyouton head of family was having some measure of trouble imagining himself browsing through the streets of Iwa in a t-shirt and shorts. Somehow, the very thought held a certain disturbing spell... Perhaps he was being overly-modest or maybe it was because Kiri was rightly colder but...what Keiko termed “casual” more of felt like...too exposing wear. But Shin swallowed any reply that might’ve come, only managing a curt nod of the head (expression: ._.).

He was pretty grateful that the topic on clothes was dropped as Keiko declared the commencement of his first cooking lesson. Shin allowed a soft grin to flower freely on his porcelain features, replying with a soft: “Ha-!!

Before he could finish even that simple word, however, Shin blinked in surprise as his hand swept something off the night table and onto the ground of his new room. Shin walked over, unfolding the paper and scanned the note.

"..."

The words didn't register.

Almost frantically, Shin read and reread the note again.

No good, the words didn't change. Finally, the order sank into his brain as Shin muttered in defeat.

"...was this even here last night......"

For some reason, Gig requested his presence outside the Tsuchikage tower, though he had no idea why. Shin only stopped himself moments before from a regal half-bow to Keiko in apology. Instead he settled for nervously scratching the back of his head with his right palm. "G-gomen." He said finally, the note left in his open left palm.

Keiko looked at Shin with complete confusion written across her face. She glanced down at the note, but quickly looked up at Shin, all she could make out was the words "meet" and "tower" but it was no use looking from who it was from. "Eh..." It came out slowly, she was trying to piece things together, but nothing really had a connection. Or none that she knew of.

Her mind franticly wondered, she looked back at the note and then at Shin, "Well," She was trying to form words to sentences, "We can always postpone your cooking lesson." Keiko paused again, trying to choose more positive words, "Besides, cooking will always will be around and it can be taught anytime and almost anywhere." She smiled, "Eh, go out and be a kid, it's the only time that you will be one."

Keiko started walking out of the room, as she reached the door she turned around, "Just be back at a decent time, so that you can eat and get some sleep. You look really tried."

Keiko turned to the left and walked back down the hallway to the kitchen.

After several days had passed by since the festival, Navalie finally went back home for some sleep. She no more than stepped inside her apartment and collapsed. After hours on end of non stop sleep she finally woke up. "Huh? Navalie said confused. She didn't recognize anything nor could she remember where or who she was. She ran outside taking a long and deep breath after her scare. The village felt awkward to her as she looked at it. Having absoloutly no clue where she was going she wandered around the village until she spotted a very unfamiliar person with red hair. Speaking of appearances, Navalie had cut her hair and it had naturally grown darker. Her eyes also changed to a shade of grey. Along with that she was wearing an entirely different outfit than before. Of course though, as she looked at the girl with red hair who was perched on a tree she paused. "Umm, Who are you?" She asked cautiously as she looked directly up at Hitomi taking no clues on who she was.

Henka Shizuka

PostPosted: Tue Aug 19, 2008 2:27 pm

Shizuka couldn't even respond, her face blushed from the kiss he gave her. So he loved her? "H-Hai!" She stuttered as she tried to recoverer from her speechless state. "Good night, Raisuke-kun!" The henka clan member waved good bye to Raisuke, this day was truly a beautiful day! She continued her way home putting on the goggles once more.

Honestly she couldn't remember much when she got home, all she did was sat on her bet and was gone. Maybe she was up for a little too long, she couldn't even tell her mother who she met yesterday. She was on her back laying on her bed snoring as cute as snoring could be, until a loud noise would boom into her room. "Shizuka-chaan!" The sound of two metal pots would bang together to make the noise to wake her up, who...made that noise? Was it Harumi? She actually found her way home? The noise was so bad that Shizuka jumped a bit and grabbed random stuff including a lucky cat plushy and a fox mask she got from the festival to cover her ears. "Nee-chan!! Stop with the noise! You're going to wake up mom you idiot!" Her mother arched her eye brow as she heard what her younger daughter just said and stopped banging the pots together. "Nee-chan? You met Harumi-chan? At the festival? A huge grin came upon her face and continued banging the pots together. "She's back! She's back! My little baby is back!" A sweat drop appeared on Shizuka's forehead as she wondered how did her mom get so much strength to actually bang pots together? "I have to cook something! I...Guh!" She may of been healthier but in reality, she wasn't...that sickness she had that attacked her chakra supply took effect once more. "Hehe...Got a little too happy there for a second..." She held her heart as it began aching in pain, she looked over to Shizuka with a small smile on her face. "I have good news...I got a letter for you saying that you have to meet some one in the village...Get up and ready, Shizuka-chan, you don't want to be later then you want to be right?" Shizuka frowned a bit as she would rather hear her mother banging the pots together then just looking weak. "R-right mom..." She would go wash up and change out of her kimono and into her normal attire with the goggles Raisuke gave her. She would rush out the door with the letter in hand hoping she wasn't that late and travel towards the meeting place. "Shimatta...there's no one here...I am late..."

A silhouette of a young man would be seen in the dim light of the morning. Raisuke was not wearing his normal attire. He had a small back on his back, carrying his shirt and something else in it. He wasn't wearing his shirt because he was bandaged up pretty good. He had training in the caves that some people didn't know about. His bandages had a couple of blood stains that looked fresh. He would see Shizuka there and wonder why she was there. He had got something that said Giglamesh wanted to meet him. "Shizuka-chan? What are you doing out here..?" He was asking with interest. Could it be that Giglamesh asked her to meet here too?

Hitomi looked down at Navalie and remembered to force herself to breathe. One of these days she wasn't going to remember, and she'd die. At least I'd have had a happy death. Remembering, as well, to keep her 'arm' hidden in her haori, Hitomi jumped down and then it hit her what Navalie had asked her. "Navalie? Are you okay?" Hitomi took a step forward, to get a better look at her. I know she wouldn't be playing with me like this... would she? I really hope not.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 19, 2008 5:11 pm

Navalie blankly stared at the girl who she spoke to. Nothing rang a bell in her mind at all. The only thing she could remember was her name. This girl must have known her previously but nothing clicked. "Eh? Do you know where I am and better yet who I am?" Navalie asked. She was still a bit sleepy and she couldn't think clearly. All she knew was she had some form of money on her and she couldn't remember anything beyond just a few minutes ago. She wasn't familiar with anything at all. The girl in front of her had a symbol displayed on a band of cloth like she did. Navalie just didn't know why. She didn't even know why she was in the place she was to begin with. Nor did she know why amnesia had come upon her. Everything was clouded out now and it annoyed her to a great degree.

Hitomi watched her carefully. Eventually, Hitomi must have decided that she was telling the truth. An absolutely horrible, degrading, disgusting and questionably legal idea crossed her mind. This would be the time. This would be perfect moment. Hitomi opened her mouth to tell the biggest lie she'd ever told. And she couldn't do it. It wouldn't be right, and it wouldn't ever sit well. "You are in Iwagakure no sato. The hidden village of the Stone. Your name is Taida, Navalie. You are a genin-ranked Ninja enlisted in the service of the village. That's the reason you have that forehead protector around your waist." Hitomi had fallen back on the one thing in which she knew she found solace in. Cold, hard, unfeeling facts. "My name is Hayaku~Omoi, Hitomi. I am a fellow genin of the Village, and- we've been... known to hang out on occasion." She couldn't lie like that. Not even she was that low. It would be one thing if Navalie decided for herself. And Hitomi would embrace her decision wholeheartedly. But to force her like that... That was even more inhuman than this bird could take.

With Keiko's dismissal, Shin promptly headed straight for one particular destination in Iwa: the Kage tower. Why the hell would Giglamesh want to see him there, the boy had no clue. Shin realized with a groan that he had somehow ended up in Iwa's rush hour...with this amount of people, shinobi and normal villagers alike streaming in from all directions...just how was he supposed to reach his destination? A light 'tsk' was followed by a disdainful shake of the head: he had to find a easier path. Pale gray-blue eyes, shimmering distantly silver in the morning light scanned the narrow streets in frustration. It helped, that Kiri's streets were so much wider...

Nothing but solid rock! Rock, rock - everywhere! The thought flickered into his mind as Shin realized his situation in dismay. He does not appreciate tardiness... Shin hadn't forgotten exactly what sort of welcome one particular fellow Academy Student in his year had received for tardiness... Wait...who said he can't use the current geographical settings to his advantage?

It would be his first time attempting wall walking - actually, cross that. Shinratsu never did complete tree climbing - rather, he was expected to complete water walking on his first exercise with chakra control. He had done exceptionally well too, displaying cunningness by not tackling the problem recklessly headfirst; rather, to observe from all angles before trumping the challenge wholly. Shin observed the wall in front of him with cold eyes, nearly stony gray in the pale lighting.

He would have to scour this wall if he was to reach the rooftop of this building. And he would have to reach the rooftop of this building in order to travel to the next. However, this particular challenge would be highly expectant, as he had not done chakra control exercises on solid ground. Think, Shinratsu... The boy commanded himself. How had water walk gone?

Water walk was achieved by constantly channeling chakra to and expelling equally from all areas of the foot to prevent sinking. However, for solid chakra walking, the concept would be a little different. Because the ground in question is solid, then that means he would not have to constantly expel chakra. The trick, if his theorem was correct...was to have just the right amount channeled on his first try and then the trick would be simply to maintain.

All in all, meaning less chakra necessary. Shin formed the tiger seal, concentrating the chakra flow in his feet. The boy nimbly backed a few steps. The wall is smoother, a running start should help...now!
