Nanashi Kage Enjeru "It's Shina. I honestly can't recall if we've even spoken before, though we probably have at some point during this trip." Shina follows after the electrike, also hoping for something humans would consider tasty. "Let's just hope he hasn't smelled a bunneary," Shina jokes. "I'm Alex. I think I may have saved your life...." She drifted off as she limped ahead. At the bunneary comment Alex laughed, "They are tasty though." She winced again and grabbed at her ribs. "Being thrown off a ponyta is not a funny as it looks apparently." The ponyta in question made a small apologetic sound and nudged the researcher with his nose. "I don't blame you. It was the crazy Lucario that knocked us into the explosion." She patted the worried ponyta on the nose. Meanwhile, just up ahead, Blitz had found a quiet, out of the way cafe and was begging for food with all his heart.

"Hey, Alexa," Mina replied, stepping in at Alexa's insistence. She hoped the trainer didn't mind Anala stepping in, too. Usually she retreived the Ponyta back into her Pokeball before entering homes because the horse Pokemon usually had dirt and foliage on her hooves, but after the previous day's experience, she didn't think she could make Anala leave. Not so soon.
"Just a few scrapes and cuts," she said, pretending to flex a muscle. "Anala saved me from most of the damage. She's really good at dodging. My clothes didn't seem to have as much luck, though," she said with a small laugh, motioning towards her tattered attire.
"But what about you?" she asked, immedietly dropping her clownish actions. "Are you sure you should be up right now?" she continued, concern in her voice. The trainer had so many bandages on one might think she was dressing up for Halloween a bit too early.

Alexa nodded stepping back so Mina and the ponyta could come it. "Um.... keep her away from..... the living room stuff." She pointed to the couch on the other half of the room and a small tv. The kitchen and living room were joined the wall that had been between them knocked down or just never built. "Me? I'm fine. Just hungry." She grinned as she went back to her sandwich materials, "I look far worse than I am." She began putting the mayo on the bread and pointed to it. "Help yourself to a sandwich."

I just didn't feel like I had the right to send a pokemon who isn't even truly mine into that chaos." Shina notices the electrike has stopped. "Oh, a cafe! Good boy!"

"'Yo." was all Kiyo managed to croak out of his throat. He nodded at the Raichu, acknowledging its greeting and waved at Jypsum. His throat was so sore, he wasn't even going to attempt to talk. "Augh..." it felt as though someone was rubbing his throat down with sandpaper while simultaneously pressing thousands of needles into it. This was the worst.
He let himself fall beside Jypsum and stared listlessly up at the sky above. "So," the teen began, "how'd you fare in the attack?" she asked. She wouldn't call it a battle, it was more like a riot.
When there was not a prompt response from the young magician, she whisked his hat from the top of his head. "Hello~ earth to..." Crap! What was his name? she thought.
The silver cheeked raichu reached over and scrawled K Y O in the dirt.
Well that was new. "...Kyio. Can you hear me Kiyo?" she continued, placing the top-hat on her head.

It was a long moment before awareness drifted back to Oyumi.
At first, it was the feel of another body pressed against her side - too small and not slender enough to be Fuutarou. A hand, human rested against her elbow.
The next thing she registered was pain.
It was intense, a deep throbbing focused around her right shoulder that crept slightly down her arm. The rest of the arm was completely numb. She couldn't even wiggle her fingers.
For a moment, she nearly panicked. Then she remembered that the shoulder was dislocated. Fuutarou hadn't dared to attempt to pop it back in place - he'd wanted someone more experience with healing to do it.
Gradually, the rest of the world returned to her, and she glanced up at Rhia. The events after the battle came back in bits and pieces - Fuutarou taking her to this spot, her struggling to get back to the battle before Kubiwa restrained her, Fuutarou treating her injuries as she gradually calmed and withdrew. The rest of it was just this... Her sitting and staring up at the sky as Fuutarou sat next to her...
"Fuutarou brought me here. He didn't want me to fight anymore," she said lightly, trying not to let the weight of the events crash down on her, trying to force back the tears that wanted to spill. The pain in her shoulder was meaningless in the wake of all that had happened. But at length, they manage to slip free as she looked at her friend, the warmth of Kamu and Carter at her side and Fuutarou just behind the other girl. "I don't know... I feel like it's been years, and my shoulder really hurts... But I just don't want to move."

The sudden breeze made when Jypsum swiped off his top hat quickly roused Kiyo from his mindless staring up at the sky.
"Giiiiff..ack!" the magician was overtaken by a fit of coughs. He clutched at his chest while he hacked his lungs out. As he settled down, he clenched his fist and shook it at the girl.
"I can hear you perfectly fine, now give it back!" he commanded, through a hoarse voice, reaching for the top hat.

Alex said without even thinking. The owner gestured to the patio. Waiting for them to sit, "Do you know what you would like or would you like to see the menu?" Alex sighed, scratching Blitz's head. "Something warm and filling. And a glass of water. Also something for these two." She waved at the two pokemon. The waiter looked at Shina, "How about you?" ((BRB, all this talk of food has made me hungry.)) "I'm not picky. Something warm and filling sounds wonderful, though I'd love milk if you have it," Shina replies, taking a seat. The waitress nods. "We have a nice thick stew and some good brown bread. How does that sound, dears?" ((Hope you don't mind me putting words in the waitress' mouth XP))

"I will. Sorry," Mina said, leaning down to try and at least clean off some of the dirt on the Ponyta's hooves.
"I'm glad to hear it," she replied. If Alexa was well enough to walk around like that and make sandwiches along the way, she was sure the trainer would heal up pretty quickly.
"Thanks, but no thanks," she said. It came as a surprise to her. She had never refused an offer of food from Alexa ever since they had met, but she really didn't feel like it about now. "I'm just... tired," she said with a sigh.
At this, Alexa mentioned the room she had lent Mina before was still open and so, with a final thanks, she retreated to her room.
((Blue gave me permission to GM Alexa for a short while so we could both end sooner.))

Alexa smiled at Mina and nodded. It was a tiring day they had yesterday. She made sure Mina knew that the guest room she had used before was still available to her. Finished making her sandwich, she ate while putting the stuff for it away. When she was done eating, exhaustion finally caught up to her and she went off to her room to sleep.

"Your shoulder?" Rhia nudged Kamu out of the way and carefully sat beside Oyumi on the side not occupied by Carter. She wrapped an arm around Oyumi's waist and with her free hand she gently felt Oyumi's left shoulder, then her right. Oh. Her shoulder. "Well that doesn't feel right." They would need to get back to the PokeCenter and get it seen to, but not just yet. She could wait a minute, it seemed.
"Don't cry," she said softly, carefully resting her head against Oyumi's. "Everything turned out just fine. We're all alive, and we fought off Team Rocket, right? That counts as a major success, I think. So we're bumped and bruised and you missed a little bit of the fight. We all missed parts of the fight." She just held Oyumi, eyes briefly flicking to Fuutarou. "But Fuu brought you away for a reason, and I'm grateful for it." She smiled, and then looked back to Oyumi and leaned her head away. "You know your shoulder is dislocated, don't you? I know you don't want to move, but we really have to. I need another nurse to fix that. I don't want to hurt you more."
She didn't say it, but it would be good for Oyumi to get up and move, and then to find something with purpose to do. Wallowing was the worst thing Rhia could let her do.
"Come on, then," she said, trying to project lightheartedness in the right amount. "Back to the PokeCenter to get that arm seen to. We can figure out where to go from there."

That coughing sounded pretty horrible, but at least he wasn't bruised all over... as far as she knew. As he reached for it, she pulled the hat just out of the boy's reach.
"Only if you can catch it." she said with a smile. Keep away was her favorite game.
