Reia noticed Konoe suddenly stop, and she floated down to him. "You win. I quit." She shook her head. "I don't think it's fair that you went before I got a chance to even move... what did you stop for?" Reia grumbled.

"Eh..oh! I think this building is an inn, though it doesn't have a sign that says it," Konoe rubbed his chin, "I suppose it won't hurt to ask."

"Uh huh. So... it looks like an inn, so you're gonna go up to some random people and ask if their house is an inn? That's smart." Reia shook her head. "Come on, let's go." She headed up to the door of the house.

"Well it does have the appearance of an inn," Konoe grinned as he watched Reia approach the building.

"You don't trust me, do you," Konoe walked up to the door and knocked on it, "Does that make you happier?"

"No... I don't." Reia said lightly, grinning. "Well, don't take it personally, I just worry a bit too much apparently." She shook her head and waited for the door to open.

"That is understandable.." Konoe flinched when the door opened and a young girl stared at them, "Uh..hello, miss. Me and my friend have been searching, and were wondering if this is an inn by any chance."
The girl shook her head, "Silly, the inn's entrance is the next door down that way."
She glanced to her right side, directing her gaze towards another door in the same building, "I'll have my brother meet you there."
She went back inside and closed the door. Konoe looked to Reia, "Well, that's that."
He laughed as he went over to the other door.

"I was joking you moron. Of course I trust you. I just don't like going up to random houses and knocking on them, asking if they have an inn nearby." She sighed.
"Well... come on. Let's go to the inn." Reia shifted the sword in her arms and she moved on.

The sword rattled slightly, and calmed down. Konoe raised an eyebrow upon seeing the sword move, but then he was distracted by the inn keeper who opened the door, "Please, please come in."
Konoe nodded as he went inside. The inn keeper held the door for Reia.

"Eh..." Reia sighed as she walked in after Konoe. "Thank you." She kept a tighter grip on the sword, and she spoke to it. "Typhon, you've gotta calm down. It's not my fault we're human and you're a sword..." She sighed. "We'll get you out of there more or less intact."

The inn keeper closed the door, "So will it be two bedrooms or one?"
The sword moved again, and this time a sound that was similar to metal rubbing against metal came from it.

Reia blushed. "Calm down Typhon. We're not sharing a room, ya dummy." She shook her head. "I'll sleep outside if I have to. I don't have money for this."

"Two rooms," Konoe answered. He pulled out a pouch that had some gold coins in it, and then handed it to the inn keeper, "This is all the gold I have with me. Will it do?"
The inn keeper smiled, and almost laughed, "It is more than enough."
He took a few gold pieces out of the pouch and then handed the rest back to Konoe. Then he went to the back and came out with two keys, "The room numbers are on the keys. You can find your room upstairs. Please enjoy your stay."

Reia gritted her teeth. "I said I would sleep outside. Now how do you expect me to pay you back, you idiot?" She grumbled under her breath as she climbed the stairs behind Konoe, glad that Typhon at least was being quiet.
