I mostly do that kind of thing at traffic lights and when I'm stopped by trains. Don't worry, I don't play on the internet while I'm driving down the interstate. sweatdrop
I don't like the new navigation either. The footer is really getting on my nerves. I'm never fond of the navigation changes that Gaia makes. Although, I absolutely love how they changed the avatar/inventory setup over the years.

I must have been doing things the long way all along cause I've noticed absolutely no change in the way I navigate around the site. Just disabled the footer and I'm back to normal sweatdrop

My only complaint with the navigation is that I like having the shortcuts in the top right corner with my gold.
And I hate the footer at the bottom of the screen. It would be nice if you could actually get rid of it, but you can't. You can only make it leave for one page.

It would be nice if you could actually get rid of it, but you can't. You can only make it leave for one page. Account Prefs -> Footer Display (Y or N) And I never used shortcuts so I don't notice the change

I've used a fair bit of shortcuts. xD I don't like too much navigation. I was more upset by the borked system.

I like the idea of being able to set your own shortcuts, but I don't like having it at the bottom of the screen. If only all of the options in the footer were in the header, I would be very happy. biggrin I still don't like the new blue navigation bar. It takes a bit longer for the options to load than the last one did. Perhaps most people don't notice because their computers aren't as ancient as mine is. As for the color-scheme changes in the header, I am indifferent to it. It does kind of irk me a bit that there is now a link to buy cash next to your amount of cash in the header. It says, "refill."

The problem with turning off the footer is it gets rid of the shortcuts thing altogether, which I don't want. I want to get rid of the thing that runs across the screen, but I'd still like to have my shortcuts.
I've started to ignore Gaia Cash and pretty well every single announcement Gaia's had the past few months. All I care about is getting to the places I want to go easily. Other than that I stopped caring unless they shove the Cash Shop down my throat, like they did with that chest.

You can minimize the footer so that only the quick links show in the bottom left corner. That's how it was supposed to be from the start but it was buggy and kept popping the full footer out when you loaded a new page. I just tried it and it works for me now though so I think they fixed it.

I don't recall there being one, but I am known for being very unobservant. sweatdrop I need to check out those settings. This footer is getting on my nerves. @_@ Skippy, I agree that the chest is a bit much. I don't even care about aquarium items or buying keys, so the chests bother me too. On a side not, we are much more active now that we all have something to complain about, so I guess the footer might have been a good thing after all. lol
