Yeah, I dunno, I think he's just purposely making it weird.
I'm not sure I'd be able to function with that computer, so little RAM and processing power sweatdrop I'm looking into the Sony Vaio's cause they have nice processors and plenty of RAM along with a big HD and blu ray playing support if you get the right one.
Yeah, the first week or two sucks cause you don't know where you can meet up with your friends. I still don't have my friends' schedules down.

I want to get a new computer, but I don't have the money. And I don't have a job. xp I looked into getting a weekend job, but most places want me to work during the week. I used to work weekends at the movie theater, but they're not hiring right now. They're actually laying people off. sweatdrop I can barely function with my computer. I can't do aquariums at all. I can barely play Booty Grab. I can barely play zOMG if I'm lucky. That's probably why I don't stream very much. And, I just found out today that I am going to have to do my Spanish lab homework on the library computers on campus. I tried to register today on my laptop, and my computer couldn't handle the program. sweatdrop
I do know that I already have a really great perk for Tuesday and Thursdays. I don't have class until 2:00 PM, so I get to sleep in. xd I can eat lunch at home before I leave also. The ironic thing is that I know my friends are going to be around for lunch on campus on those days.

Yeah, I think I would've smashed that computer by now. I wouldn't have been able to deal with the sloooooooow.
I wish I could sleep in, up at 8 each day xp Though I get a three hour break between my first class and the classes after so it's kind of nice.

Are there computer labs around campus? They should have some way somewhere that you can listen to sound.

I figured out what was going on. It is only supported by Internet Explorer, and I usually use Firefox or Opera. So, I was able to get my work done. biggrin
In other news, I think I accidentally reinfected myself. I have another head-cold. I really hope it's not a sinus infection. Alot of people on campus are sick. I might have picked up some new strain from one of my classmates or something. confused

What kind of allergies do you have?
My nose has been running non-stop, and I have been sneezing rather excessively. It is quite annoying. I can't find my allergies meds either. I take Allegra D, but I haven't been taking it lately. However, I was given some steroids by my doctor because of drainage problem in my inner ear. I started that regiment today, and though it hasn't cured my nasal problems a single bit, it has given me a serious case of the munchies. lol

Mine are the usual itchy/watery eyes, runny nose, and sneezing. They kicked into overdrive this week along with the drop in temperature. I was taking Claritin but I've switched to Zyrtec cause it seems to work better.

I took Clariton before, and it didn't do me much good. I'm guessing from your description that you have outdoor allergies. Is that right? By the way, when do you start your anti-immune system meds?

Yeah, I would assume that's what they are anyway. I don't know when I'll start taking them, I'm guessing some time next month after I see my doctor again.

I just heard a horror story from one of my professors. She bought a Dell laptop from Bestbuy that runs Vista. She took it to the library after buying it and started downloading articles from the library databases. Then, it crashed and the harddrive fried. She seems to think it was Vista that caused it. I mean, library databases aren't even regular internet sites or anything. Kenny, I thought that you were starting your meds sooner. I guess that it must be a relief to know that you won't be on them for a while. I'm always afraid of new medicines. Has anyone noticed the blue home page with the ninja? It said something about creating a "badass" avatar or something. It was kind of embarrassing pulling up that page in the library. sweatdrop
