{{Again, I'm referring to the US Constitution, not whatever the Census Bureau dictates. While you may be told to ask every question and the forms say that it is required for everything to be completed, the only question that has any legal grounds is the one in regards to how many people live in your household.
Similarly, there actually is no law that says you have to pay taxes. Of course, that's not going to keep you from getting arrested if you don't.}}

{{Ah. Well, no, the Constitution doesn't require it, obviously. But the actual government does, which I think is ridiculous. I personally don't think that that some of the questions should be asked. It's no one else's business. Of course, it does help to know how many schools, hospitals, etc need to be allocated to a certain area. That's how the ages help. But really, why does the Census Bureau need to know if someone is renting their house, has a mortgage, or owns it free and clear? It's not their business. I hate asking that question.}}
