Kari looked on very proud of her padawan for doing so well. He was learning very quickly, much faster then she had thought he would for someone new to the jedi.

Makum nodded, It's becoming a little easier to reach to the force. I'm starting to see, well, feel, everything's connections. He was overjoyed. He had finally found something to do in life, and while it was difficult, so was everything else in life. Master, may I ask you a question?

Returning to the elevator, Fina turned toward the panel, and hit another button. She was sure that Master Sephiroth would refuse the mens offer... After all, the Jedi should be able to defend themselves if anything were to happen. Even worse was if the temple was attacked by Dark Jedi. If the Jedi had to fight off another Dark Jedi attack while blaster bolts were flying here and there then that would complicate things even more. It would very much be in the way.

The elevator stopped, and Fina exited, stepping into the Archives. She started to search for Master Sephiroth here...

Jami thought a bit as he deflected the blaster bolts from the battle droids. He wondered what good the squad of troopers would do if the Temple was ever attacked. The Jedi were more than capable of taking care of themselves, and if the troopers were around with the Dark Jedi, then the Jedi would have to defend the troopers as well as themselves. Also, Jami remembered the despair he felt when Yoda and Bryce died, the drain he felt as their presences became one with the Force. If the troopers were around he would feel that again and again, which would be more than distracting. In his opinion, if Master Sephiroth was smart, he would turn down the troopers and let them get back to the frontlines where they belonged.

Jami switched off his saber and switched off the droids, then headed over to Alyssa. "Don't worry, it's alright. One of these troopers is apparently a fan, and wanted a signature, then another one came up with the brilliant idea to ask Master Sephiroth to post guards around the Temple. My guess is that Master Sephiroth is going to turn them down, and we're going to hear about it for weeks on end." He ran his fingers through his white streak and shrugged.

Jami's eyes twinkled brightly at her, and he walked over to her to touch her hand softly. "Alyssa, we're Jedi. They have a small squad of troopers. In the Clone Wars, yes the clones were able to kill several Jedi. However, they were outmatched about thirty to one or were shot in the back, and all of the attacks were surprise attacks. We're more wary these days, and after the attacks by the Dark Jedi, we're far more alert. So don't worry so much, alright?"

the clinking of armour filled the hallsways as the trooper decided to turn down the offer after waiting for so long. as they exited several men were rounded up, the ones who were defending the place, and entered the transporter, the returned to the 104th main flagship and were setting cordinates for other places.

"Wait..." Alyssa said, watching him leave the room. She quietly followed him and snuck up behind him after he had gotten situated on the balcony. "So!" She said playfully and loudly. "You wanted to know about my parents?"
