Kyoshi looked at her and winked but returned his attention to Eldin. "I'm afraid so but don't worry. At least you can get away with murder like those two brats standing with you." He said and smiled with the Twins glared at him. They both said curses at him in russian and Kyoshi grinned. "Wait until your mommy hears those words. She is soooo going to take away your games and ground you." He said and both boys paled.
Monty rolled his eyes. "Excuse me Kalore but you are talking to a weapons expert. I happen to be a expert in all skills dealing with weapons. I am older than you so I was there when the bow and arrow was invented. I'm the one who made it a household weapon." He said with arrogance, hoping that Kalore didn't take it the wrong way and would take the baits he threw because in truth, he respected all fighters and if Kalore was better than him in something then that was good.

Grinning, Kalore wrote, "Babe...Trust me...You'd lose so quickly with me with my bow. I'm the best there is." He knew he was acting a little arrogant, but if Monty were to ask anyone who Kalore Marcessa was, they would all reply with the same answer. The best damned sniper this world has ever seen.
Smiling again, Dusk had to shake her head. Hopefully Kyoshi knew that this wasn't going to last long...she wouldn't be able to deal with life if he wasn't there with her. He was her stability. Having Kyoshi as a stability probably wasn't the best idea, but Mist wasn't there so he was it.
Eldin blinked and looked between the three men around him, "Um...What did they say that was so bad?" He didn't know Russian, but the elf knew enough about tones to know that they were probably going to get in trouble for saying something bad. Curses probably.

Monty rolled his eyes again. "Sure Kalore. You haven't seen nothing yet with me. I'm the one that taught Robin Hood how to hit the arrow through another one on the bulls eye." He said, such a claim will never be confirmed or denied because the author can't make one character that awesome. Or maybe the author can.
Kyoshi sighed. "These little boys cursed me with big boy words and let me tell you, Gambler is really maternal with these two and maybe with you too. So don't ever curse or else she will whip you with her belt. A lesson these boys should learn about." He said and on cue the boys covered their a** and paled even more. "Don't tell mother." They both said, looking too adorable for their own good.

Blinking, Eldin had to smile a bit. "I see...I avoid cursing, so I hope that that means I'll be okay..." Zaine smiled at that, knowing that it was true. If Eldin cursed then something was very wrong... Dusk leaned on Zaine, happy that he was back, even if it was just for a short time. "Too cute...Those twins are just too cute..."
Kalore rolled his eyes and wrote, "I've known how to do that since the third week I was given my bow...That's not that impressive...All it takes is a powerful bow and an accurate eye." And Kalore could easily do that trick. Maybe when things calmed down the two could have a little competition...

Monty shook his head. "Three week? Pitiful. One the first week I got it down perfectly." That's because he devoted day and night for that whole week to get it right, in the forms, balance and aim. It payed off very well.
Kyoshi nodded with a smile. "Good. Maybe you could be an example for them to not curse. It would be a good thing." He said and the Twins glared at Kyoshi but still covered their rears.
Joker came through the door with a bag of medical supplies and crutches for Eldin. He went straight over to Eldin with a warm smile. "Here you go. It's set up to your size so it won't be uncomfortable." He said.

Eldin smiled at the twins, but when the crutches came, his eyes lit up, "Ah! Thank you, Joker!" Smiling wide, he tested them out. "Perfect..." The only problem now would be fighting the stairs... His eyes went there, filled with worry. "Um..I'll never have to go upstairs for this next week...Right?" It was doable, but it would be hard and painful if he messed up.
Another silent laugh and Kalore had written, "But you probably weren't seven years old, working on a house, working with school, and saving a random stranger just about every other night now were ya?" He winked. "But, pretty impressive...My skill still beats yours. The moment I get to show you, you'll see." Kalore worked less than an hour a day on that trick, so he probably got it done faster than he did, but the elf wasn't going to mention that. When Kalore was given his bow, the first thing he wanted to do was shoot a bullseye and then shoot it through that. And he succeeded pretty easily.

Laughter shown in Monty's eyes. "True. I see your point. Perhaps when everything stops messing up I'll take you to my warehouse and we can show off our skills, no?" He said because he didn't mind doing that. If not then he could come out to the forest and do it there too.
Joker nodded and smiled. "Your welcome and I suggest you stay in the room your in. I don't want your legs to be even more messed up. Otherwise, I'm going to put them through the most painful healing process ever." He warned and looked at Eldin with seriousness. The Twin's eyes went wide. "Don't do it uncle." They whispered together. Kyoshi shook his head. "You all are nuts. I don't know how our boss puts up with it." He muttered.

Whining, Eldin shook his head, "I'll be careful! And I can heal my own legs!" The boy stuck his tongue out. "Please don't make me stay in my room...It's boring...And I feel useless." Head dropping, Eldin pouted, totally pulling off the adorable sick puppy look. No one could deny him with that look.
A grin was on his face as Kalore nodded, "Sure thing. But...My best bow is in my storage area, so if you want I could show you where Rave and I would practice. It's this kick a** area in the western forest right near here. Rave uses blades so if you wanna work on that you could." He shrugged, humor in his eyes. This was much better than moping...

Joker slapped his forehead. "I meant you stay in that room instead of one in the upstairs. Calm down, Eldin." He said patting his head affectionately. "I think Gambler is going all the way back to her apartment to pick up the boys little portable video games and she said she was going to get you the...." The Twin's eyes went bright at the mention of video games. "The PSP, DS and the Gameboy's. I hope she brings the Mario Bros for the DS. Oh! Eldin do you like Final Fantasy? Mother got us the Crisis Core one with the cheat sheet on them to unlock all that you need in it." They said with boyish happiness. Kyoshi rolled his eyes.
Monty nodded. "Let's go. It's stuffy in this place and I can't promise that I won't beat Eldin to a pulp when I see him." He said. He had it in for the elf and he was ready to give it.

Kalore sighed and wrote, "Why? Listen, I don't know if it was all on him...I hate that boy more than just about anyone, but there's...There's no way, ya know?" But he stood up and cocked his head to the side. Now that he was listening, Kalore could hear that Eldin was down there. Sighing, "Eldin's down there in the main room. We walk past, I tell Rave what's going on, and we leave, okay?" He didn't want Monty to make a scene, but he didn't think the demon would anyways. At least Kalore hoped he wouldn't.
Smiling, Eldin shook his head, "I've never really played video games much... But I'm sure I'll like it." Another smile and he spoke to Joker. "Thanks. Um... Is there anything that needs to be done?" Now that he had a way of moving around, Eldin could go back to helping with just about anything that they needed him to do.

Monty nodded. He motioned for Kalore to lead the way. "The boy is hiding something. If my boss has that instinct then I'm not going to ignore it." He said with a finalty in his tone that left no room to continue speaking on the matter.
Joker shook his head. "For now, you just sit there and talk with everyone. Until Gambler comes back with those games...It's going to be seriously boring." He hung his head but checked his pockets and sighed in relief. Kyoshi raised a brow. "What were you looking for?" "Making sure my money was in my pockets so when Gambler comes....I'm going to challenge that woman to a rematch in poker to get my house back!" He said with dramatic vigor and a punch in the air.

Sighing, Kalore didn't say anything else, or write anything else, on the matter but instead walked down. When he came down, Eldin's eyes discreetly locked with his. Neither really knew what to think of the other. One thought that something was missing something, that there was more to him, but the other thought that the person was going to jump up and kill him... But nothing was said as the two just nodded.
Rave looked up and walked over to them, "You okay?" He didn't know if Monty would have done something so Kalore was checked discreetly for extra bruisings or things of the sort. He grinned and nodded, "I wanna prove that I'm a better sniper...Which isn't going to be that hard..." Rave smirked and nodded, "Back in the clearing?" He nodded and then looked up at the ceiling, "Lord Kyin probably has a perfect view of it..." Rave nodded. "Be right back."
The man walked up to his old mentor's room and knocked, "They may go. I can watch them." Without asking him how he even knew what Rave was going to ask, he walked back down and nodded. "Be back in an hour, okay?" Kalore nodded and went outside but didn't go to the clearing. Writing on the paper, "You got a bow?" He had to get his good one, seeing as the one that Kalore had at the moment was just some old one that he used when he wasn't really concerned about missing or hitting. So, if Monty needed one it would be easy to just grab one for him. And it wouldn't be unfair because they were all of around the same quality.
When they left, Eldin looked at Joker with a smile, "You're not boring...But sir...I don't think you're going to get your house back unless she throws the game..." Rave chuckled and nodded, agreeing. Dusk on the other hand ignored them all as she looked at Zaine. "So...what now, Zaine?" He sighed and shrugged, "I don't know...It's safe now because Lucien is waiting for... something.'' The man knew, but he couldn't say.

Monty ignored the little elf that he wanted to scare to death and just stayed his aloof, quiet-self. Monty shook his head. "I didn't plan on showing you true test of skill, elf." He said with arrogance and looked the part.
Joker hung his head again and nodded solemnly. "She will never do that. She's too good for me." He sniffled. "I have to get better!" Kyoshi rolled his eyes. "The day someone beats that old hag in poker is the day hell freezes over and I get to go to heaven...." He thought about that for a moment. "Let's hope that day comes." He said.

Snickering silently, Kalore shook his head and showed Monty the room under the main floor of the tower. It was filled with knifes and swords and bows of the best quality. Very few races could make these weapons better than the elves. "Pick your bow." Grabbing his favorite one, a long bow that looked as beautiful as it was powerful, Kalore wrote, "You choose what we do seeing as I don't want to waste more paper..." He shrugged.
Dusk looked at Rave, "Aren't you awesome at poker?" He blinked for a bit but Zaine answered, "Yeah...He is..." "I don't gamble though..." "I bet you could beat her..." "I bet not."

Monty rolled his eyes and picked a stable, durable looking bow. It felt good enough in his hands without it being to flimsy or too light. "Let's go elf. Let me see what the elven world has to offer." He said challengingly and took up a knife. "If you don't mind I want to see if I still have my good arm." He said.
Joker looked over at them. "Then Rave....I propose we team up against Gambler in a poker match of the ages! Should we win I'll split up the winnings evenly down to the penny. We can beat her together!" He said with the look of a champion on his face and pose.
Gambler came through the door, looking tired but quickly hid that and smiled at everyone. Then she looked at Joker with a raised brow. "I take it you haven't drank your meds yet right?" The Twins swarmed around their mother took the blue back pack from her and went to Eldin, showing them their games. "Play nice boys or else time out." They both nodded absentmindedly. Joker pointed his finger at Gambler. "I challenge you to poker!" His boss blinked and then laughed. "You lost your house and jewels. What could you possibly bet with?" She grinned like the champion. No one could beat her in her number one game, why? Because in that one she just never cheated.
