While I am not a fan of dark/demonic like avis, I really like the face and the outfit together!

It's def. a good start, but it feels quite unfinished. I think you need either a shirt, or something on your other arm (even a tattoo may work) and perhaps something on your head. Though the head one doesn't seem as vital as something more for your torso!

Cool, you've got a good theme going for it, I like it. Bats seem random, but I guess you are a vampire!
@death ax: Try a black heartstring for around your head. It adds a bit of color without being obtrusive, and I think it would look well with your avatar

Personally I never like the items that made your arm look bigger like that, I think a bit more gold would help though
