Daruki Astarael00 BTW, have you gotten special moves (AKA B-button moves) down yet? Chains, tetra slash, etc.? I was able to get the gauge moving, thanks. ^^; B button? It's like you go to Tech and assign buttons for the character that you're controllings attacks, right? Yeah. I think I got that... Starting to experiment with Unison attacks too now. Apparently you can get a mix from Sonic Thrust series attacks from Kratos&Lloyd, and a Lightning something with Lloyd's Tiger Blade with Genis' thunder moves. I've been reading FAQs because I discovered that I had no sense of direction in ToS. And having failed at getting any info on Alfreid and finding Hima at the beginning(found it now, but too late, kinda), I feel like I'm going to be foreced to go on the "hard" path, which is to undo the Wind Seal before the water. But I don't want to go to the Hard road! T___T I already got the map for the B...something monuments, Max in Izlood is out fishing, I beat the fake wind-spirit in Ash...? , I'm wondering how to get Sheena and HOW CAN I GET TO PALMACOSTA AND UNDO THE WATER SEAL BEFORE THE WIND ONE! T_____T ToS is a drug like every good RPG, but I'm like... totally lost right now. They said in FaQs that you outta get to Palmacosta and beat a certain boss named "Magnus" at lvl 17, I'm at 20-21... T__T;; ...Azura, meet the undead legend of this thread... *Pulls out shotgun* WHICH WILL BE RE-JOINING THE DEADS SOON ENOUGH! scream *Chases after* Poor D. I almost wish I could see you play IRL so that I could lau-*ahem* uhhhh...help you out. xp Seriously, though don't stress on the order you do things in. Unless you're just borrowing the game, you've got all the time in the world. I've personally logged 200+ hours on that game, with five or more replays. xd Once regular as a trial run, once for Sheena, Kratos, Raine, Zelos...yeah. Five. Unless I'm missing one... I've personally never distinguished the 'easy' path from the 'hard' path. The way I see it, the only true hard path is trying to get the Berserker title and the Eternal Apprentice title at the same time. Which I've done. Fun stuff, 'till you get your butt handed to you on a silver platter by something you could've beaten in two seconds. -_- I will never look at rabbits the same way again. Oh, about Sheena - You'll get her eventually no matter which path you take. She's absolutely essential to the game (you'll find out what I mean later), so it's not like she's some minor side character you can miss if you go too fast. xd It's been a while since I've played that game. Go to GameFAQs, read a walkthrough, and if it doesn't help, go to their forums and ask. There're always gurus around who've memorized every last detail of the game. I personally haven't touched that game in too long (not as long as GS, but still), so I don't remember enough of the specifics to help you out. Although, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure you have to break the water seal first. And then she joins you at the...no she joins you in Luin. Never mind. But I'm pretty sure you do have to break the water seal first anyway. "Out fishing"? O_o I've never had that happen before. He's always been there, for me. What did you do to your game, anyway? Fire, water, wind...ummm...lightning? Yeah, 'cause that's Sheena's. Then crash, ice, earth, shadow, Tower...then what? It's been a while. Oh, yeah. Right. The tree. Singsaith OW! ...Nope, you CAN do the wind seal before Water seal. I think it's because I never talked to the guy in Izlood that's supposed to tell you that Alfreid left and at some point I got so lost that I entered Luin first, and I think that's what cause Max to be gone out fishing. -_- . Sheena was playing hide-and-seek in Luin with some kids, and you had the choise of "You're actually a nice person" or "You're kinda cute" options... And so after that I went to Hima, Asgard and those towns over there... So at the end it's like I have no choice but to do the Wind seal first. -_-; Anyway, I've decided to restart. razz So now I'm against the guardians of the Fire seal again, but I feel like I've improved... Somewhat. xD;
Now about FAQs... I've been fed WAAAAAY too much spoilers already.
SPOILER ALERT! Hace you not finished ToS like me, better not read it. I came across these by...er, "accidents"... So, yeah... -_-;
I know that --- is ---'s dad, and that's cause of Griff's comic last year, because when I read it I never thought that I'd be playing this game one day... So my fault, yeah. I also got some of the relationships sorted out on who's Martel, Mithos, Yggsda...thingie and Yuan. -_-;;;;; I know about Regal, Zelos, Presea and Sheena and how --- will leave you at some point and that you'll have to choose one char between the 2 at some point... *Sticks tongue* The storyboard looks fascinating. And I've tried to read a few fics(seriously, when I've been only playing for 20 hours or so and only unlocked fire seal rofl I'm pathetic. -_-; , so now I think the blue-haired guy Lloyd meet in the Sylvarant base in the desert near Triet is indeed Yuan. =_=; )... So yeah, I think I know most of the most shocking plot twists. T__T
@Azura: Ooh!~ Have you checked back with the forune teller in Triet? Does Kratos love you more than Colette? xDDD

So yeah, I did find out about that ordeal of choosing between the two. But it's not faaaaaair!!! Why can't we just have 9 characters in the party?! I wanna see Kratos in swimming trunks, dammiiiit! *cough* rofl I've restarted several times too because of my completionist spirit. xd I want to get every single little tweak in the game, so I keep checking these FAQs and going "I missed what?! REEEEE-STAAAAAART!" Although I gave up on that when I went to Palmacosta and found that I skipped out on Genis' "Brotherly Love" title. Ack! Forget it! Maybe on another playthrough. xd
If you're saying what I think you're saying (And you kinda gave it away with the context clues anyway xd )... I kinda figured on my own that Kratos would be Lloyd's dad. That was because to me, they acted much like a father/son pair...Kratos being much critical yet repeating things like "grow strong" and Lloyd kind of coming to accept Kratos as a teacher-figure. If that wasn't what you were getting at, then I think I've just made an a** of myself.
Ah, well. I just released the Water Seal. I haven't been playing much because my Gaia addiction is reaching all new highs. o_o Damn you, Rina...charging gold to make bouquets...I have more than enough flowers, but not the inks and gold I need! gonk Now my questing drive is back, dammit. xd
And on that last note, I'm sure I've reached the point where I won't be able to return to Triet for some time so I'm not sure yet. But I did get the skit "Combo! Lloyd and Kratos!" to pop up, so I think I'm holding off Colette fairly well! xd heart
Say, if Sing bashing is as fun as you guys make it out to be...hmm...
