Lamest moment in Barton was the whole Moonblade thing.
I couldn't stop laughing my a** off at the randomness of it.
It was like some God of War scene or something.
And I like how Ryugi immediately defended his actions by comparing Moonblade to Old Yeller.

Of course he'd laugh at Moonblade getting sniped. It only proves that he was right, and his brainwashing were not false words. That way, Moonblade cant argue about any of it.
Because when you're right, you got to smile.

Vahn Kyonuske Except for the fact that the assault on Barton is canon and actively happening now, I think a problem would arise as the Shields and Spears in Latent are sent out and warnings issued. Unless we want to create time paradoxes all around with our characters acting all willy nilley just because we want to do this and that. And this is where Maximos is now. The incident with Tomorrow would have been over a week ago. Meeting Lucind she asked to happen a week after HoH. His encounter with Evee Knight would have been before meeting Tomorrow putting it at well over a week ago. Maximos doesnt have enough activities to make a paradox. Just because I dont post a timeline doesnt mean I dont have one. I really dont see your point. Beyond the fact you dont seem to want me involved in Barton.

Anyways, I was hoping for once that none of us 'guys' would have to step in to solve Barton.
Its always up to one of the 'guys', and I really hated that. I wanna see... Akira come out and save the day for once.

I guess Decruda could tell Moonblade what happened when/if they rez him. But Moonblade himself didn't see the attack happen to him. xp

Solve Barton? Me?
Thats funny.
To tell the truth, I was rather bored and so I arrived. That and Darsh seemed assured the place would fall, and then basically just be dominated and ruled. At which point none of us could really avoid the incident to begin with, and we would have to step in.
I figured I would move to do my part, get my flowers and then leave. I've never saved any place in this world. But if it interrupts your plans, I can just as easily leave. The last thing I want is to impede the progress of the event.

It was the first name I could think of... I just don't want the same bunch of people having to save the day or be looked to, to save the day.
For once, if s**t goes bad, then it goes bad and stays bad.
Let it be an example to everyone else and serve as a vivid reminder.
THERE ARE NO HAPPY ENDINGS
Unless you make them.

Hey Ed, should I wait for Sierra to make a post, or should I just go ahead and make mine?

i do agree. if lazenca was anywhere near barton, and i wasn't already playing descant, then he'd be there. let's see madi, akira, and whoever else step up. though, intimidation sets in because... mods make up a bulk of the council and are bringing or creating troops. having the big guns as back up or moral support doesn't hurt, but it's good to see second and third tier characters jump in and pool their resources.

Also, I have no plans for Barton.
I'm surprised the half-breed population hasn't sprung into an outright revolt against the undead, and warriors walking out of pubs blinking legions of the damned away into non-existance left and right.
And in retrospect-- would an evil Ryugi's flames burn all the people away, but not harm any buildings or ground?
The more you know...

I could be.
Or I could not be.
Or I could be appearing to be in order to appear to not be.
Who knows....
