I just thought the idea of Rowen eating a popsicle was hilarious, which is why I wanted to do the art. Rowen: "Even an old man enjoys a cool treat on a hot day." And then I started thinking about what the rest of the gang would be like ... Milla would be all: "What is this sudden painful headache I have? What an interesting experience." Jude and Leia bicker over the flavors: "You always eat all the red ones." "Well, I like those the best, and besides, you always would drip them on your clothes." Elize is pretty mellow about hers, besides being excessively cute, until Alvin starts making innuendos, at which point either the spud or Jude rolls their eyes and tells him to shut up. ^_^

Korsall Kaiser Really? o.o Huh, I guess there goes my terrible sense of time again... :/ Regardless of the form, my sense of time just sucks... sweatdrop I suppose I ought to applaud even more then for such an excellent deduction! XP *claps my tiny little paws* I see. So question, which one was your first game? Mine was Symphonia after a friend of mine got it and I played it with him/watched him at his house a few times on his Gamecube. It looked like a really fun game! ^w^ After buying it for myself, playing it, and thoroughly enjoying it, I forget which came next but I discovered both that the game was part of a 'series' and found this guild on Gaia as well. (The same friend from before is also the one that introduced me to Gaia. Sadly he hasn't come on in many years... >~>) After that, my collection has grown considerably. I own Symphonia, Dawn of the New World, Abyss, Radiant Mythology, Xillia, and now Vesperia. Can anyone confirm what localized games I'm missing? o.o I know something about the Graces/Graces F business, but not what the difference between them is, which is localized if not both, or even what console they're for. But yeah, I have a fair number of the games. *nod nod* I wish you luck fleshing out your collection as well. owo Yup, at any given time, you can ask of me anything within reason and I shall comply. Do use this 'favor' wisely, as it is only good once. Ah! I forgot to get back to you. ^_^ Symphonia was my first, but it was about ten years ago, and my husband was the one "driving". He forgot the golden rule of JRPGs — "kill all the monsters ever", and by the time we got to the world map, we were way too under-leveled. I didn't really enjoy being stuck with Genis, either, since he kept ending up off-screen and I had no idea what was going on with him. So we stopped playing it and never really got back to it. Fast-forward to a couple of months ago when we were poking around GameStop and asked the guy for a recommendation. We wanted a JRPG that wasn't totally stereotypical and had a happy ending please. So he recommended Xillia, and we took it home. WELL. I think it was safe to say that after the first twenty minutes I was completely enamoured with Jude and liked Milla pretty well, and as soon as Alvin hit the screen I was done, it went onto my list of "this game is awesome". The other three main characters were just icing. Fantastic, wonderful icing. I adore Leia, respect Rowen, and desperately want to squish Teepo and Elize for being so darn cute. I love everyone in this game, even Ivar and Yurgen and all them. (Okay, not Isla.) Xillia is currently jostling with Legend of Mana and FFVII for the "favorite game ever" slot, which says something significant. I'm a little worried that other Tales games won't hold up to how happy this game made me, to finally have a game where I really liked everyone and thought the plot was very mature and nuanced about actions and consequences. ^_^ Not that I'm not intending to give them a shot too ...
