Alvin Svent Korsall Kaiser Aww... But that's no fun... o~o C'mon, just think about it... >~> I'll give ya one more hint... *clears throat* By giving a hint, such as the one about my game being one of the only kind that matters, in an open environment with it available to all around to make use of, it stands to reason the hint would refer to something that all local individuals would share in common. In that case, I ask you, what one type of game do all local individuals hold dear? If that doesn't narrow things down, I think I'm going to go make my new home in a corner somewhere... sweatdrop I'm gonna assume you mean a Tales game, but as for which one ... *broad shrug* No idea. Obviously neither of mine, and not Graces, given that Azura already guessed it. That's still a pretty wide field. Not for PS3, and not really new. I'll hazard Tales of Vesperia.Aye, that it is... I had a feeling that hint may be a little too easy given the hints I've already given out... sweatdrop Indeed, in a 'Tales of' Guild, the one type of game that 'truly' matters would be a Tales of game. And given that it wouldn't make sense to buy a game I can't play yet, any PS3 games are marked off. Also, remembering I bought Halo 3 to play on my Nephew's 360 means a 360 game isn't out of the question. Also, saying it isn't terribly new rules out Xillia 2 and any other vaguely recent games like the Symphonia remake. To know me, one would know I also see no meaning in playing a game I already have even if it's an 'updated' version so buying Tales of the Abyss 3D would go against that seeing as I have the PS2 version. Finally, on last check, the PSP only has one Tales of game in the US which I've said I have on a couple occasions, and I have all of the GC/Wii games to my knowledge which again I'm sure I've mentioned on several occasions. That rules out just about everything BUT Vesperia. At any rate, I concede defeat to you on this mind bending matter. To be honest, sometimes it's difficult being so clever... Whenever you try to make fun guessing/mind games, they end up being too difficult and everyone gives up... *gives and exasperated sigh and slumps his tiny shoulders* At any rate, as prize, you may ask any one thing of me at any given time, within reason, and I shall comply. And I do mean that, in all seriousness... *gives you a very serious look* And now, before I bid you all goodnight, I would like to reveal the hint that no one caught on to. When Fireballs were the topic of discussion, and more specifically the spamming of such, I purposely let slip the first two letters of a certain Fireball happy character from Vesperia before 'clumsily' covering up my 'slip' as Rift. I actually expected someone to catch on that I was covering up for almost saying Rita given I had recently started the guessing game on what game I had gotten recently and given the manner of my post. But alas, no one called me out on my 'slip up'... *shrugs again* At any rate, I now bid you all goodnight until tomorrow with the parting words that I am soon to return to Dahngrest after my fateful meeting with Belius...

If so, once I get my Desktop back, I'd like to invite you to the server I frequent and show you my cabin and waterfall house. ^w^ And yes, you appear to have posted with some unfortunate timing. Reading the post, do you see the train of thought I was trying to lead everyone on?

Eheh. Not that easy. *rubs the back of his neck* If I'm not the newest member of the guild, I'm pretty close. *looks around at Azura and the others for confirmation* I had no idea what platforms you owned, or what other games you owned. I haven't been around that long -- I don't think either Jishin or this account has been a member of the guild for more than two months, and I definitely didn't backtrack through the whole thread! I figured it was probably a Tales game right off, actually, but had to sit down with the list of them to make an educated guess, since I'm also new to the fandom in general. I've only played Xillia and a wee bit of Symphonia, so any references to Vesperia went right over my head. I'd actually almost guessed Abyss, but rethought that when I noticed it was a PS2 game. I have one of those PS3s that plays PS2 games, and thought you might as well, which was enough to at least partially rule it out. Don't know why I was confident I could eliminate the handheld games -- maybe because Vesperia was the only game for the 360. *shrugs helplessly* Any one thing at any one time, huh? I'll keep that in mind ... Well. I guess I know what I'm about to make a memo of in Alvin's journal ... wink

I know myself, I could potentially become addicted, and it could ultimately become a time suck. And yet I feel a burning need for Tomodachi Life.........
I think I get it now. Vesperia has a PS3 version but it hasn't been localized (thus you not actually needing a PS3 to play it), and you bring this up in a Tales guild. To be honest I did consider it as an answer but it had that "......nah, can't be that...sounds too easy..." feeling to it. rofl

ShadeKyubi [That's right Korsall keep those pesky heros distracted while my army steals all the candy from this world too!] Eh, you can have the candy. But leave the ice pops — a certain cheeky teenager I know will have a fit if there aren't any left. Besides, they'll melt while you're trying to transport them. Kitsune aren't known for their ice artes. (( I've been wanting to draw the Xillia cast eating ice pops. NOT ENOUGH TIME .... ))

I'll keep that in mind ... Well. I guess I know what I'm about to make a memo of in Alvin's journal ... wink Really? o.o Huh, I guess there goes my terrible sense of time again... :/ Regardless of the form, my sense of time just sucks... sweatdrop I suppose I ought to applaud even more then for such an excellent deduction! XP *claps my tiny little paws* I see. So question, which one was your first game? Mine was Symphonia after a friend of mine got it and I played it with him/watched him at his house a few times on his Gamecube. It looked like a really fun game! ^w^ After buying it for myself, playing it, and thoroughly enjoying it, I forget which came next but I discovered both that the game was part of a 'series' and found this guild on Gaia as well. (The same friend from before is also the one that introduced me to Gaia. Sadly he hasn't come on in many years... >~>) After that, my collection has grown considerably. I own Symphonia, Dawn of the New World, Abyss, Radiant Mythology, Xillia, and now Vesperia. Can anyone confirm what localized games I'm missing? o.o I know something about the Graces/Graces F business, but not what the difference between them is, which is localized if not both, or even what console they're for. But yeah, I have a fair number of the games. *nod nod* I wish you luck fleshing out your collection as well. owo Yup, at any given time, you can ask of me anything within reason and I shall comply. Do use this 'favor' wisely, as it is only good once.

I'm not terribly interested in Tomodachi though, but I can see why that would pose the same trouble for you. XP Haha, don't go doubting yourself when there's nothing wrong with guessing wrong! XP Haha, it could have been YOU with the favor instead of Alvin if you had gone with your gut and guessed. XP
