She didn't care if someone else could plane jump, she wanted to know how he came by the tears. So he was friends with a phoenix? Interesting. She made a note to keep an eye on the halfling. "No." It wasn't a lie, she hadn't rocked the sands. That had been all Rahsaveer. "Step lightly, halfling. Unfamiliar terrain is usually the most treacherous."

"b***h. I been knowin' things since before you was struttin'." Rather crude, wasn't he? Yes, he was. He glanced at her with a frown since he had feeling Gem was going to agree to leave him out and gave her a satisfied grin. "Your nipples are saggin'."

"When she's not screwing the captain or anyone else at least." Watching her watch him, he lifted his hand in some sort of gesture that was truly unbeknownst to even him. "That's fine. I can stay up here all day if we have to." Though he blinked at her when she rested back against him, wondering just what she was doing. If he touched her, she'd snap at him though the natural inclination was to rest his hands gently on her hips. In the end, it was better for his health to try to touch her as little as possible, despite the fact that his chin seemed to settle on top of her head. Weird...

Logan looked at the little one for a bit before he turned back to the Commander and Jaebelltiah, at least she was alright now. In about awhile she should be standing on her own two feet again, she could do so right now but with a wound like she had and the amount of pain felt from the healing well it be best for her to lay down. Logan then blinked at the little one answer and he took a sniff, she smelled different than the others. So it must of been someone else. "I know that." He paused for a moment, watching the two dragons then turning out to the sands. "Why did you think I did not want to tell you where I got them tears? Unfamiliar terrain holds unfamiliar people, and it's easy for those people to follow your footsteps home." The halfling took a deep breath, even the air smelled different, too bad Aiden couldn't come with him. "But I can take care of myself, I have no trouble being on board, all that needs to be done is to keep a steady eye out."

It was the truth, after all. Medically speaking, if there were no other complications such as infection, she would be fine. It was her second encounter with those things, albeit it was much worse this time, but with Logan's mystical elixir, she hadn't lost as much blood as she would have. Odd that he would note the optimistic side of things but he was. Feeling her move, he shifted his arm to accommodate and keep a steady support for her. Amber eyes still slitted but it seemed her teeth were retiring back into a neutral state, which meant progress. Nodding, he brushed his thumb along her jaw as he made final inspections and then returned his attention back to cleaning her midriff area. Though a pause as she spoke weakly and he blinked up, meeting her gaze again. She was apologizing? For what? "It's alright. It wasn't my uniform so even if the blood doesn't wash out, it's not a huge loss. I'll soak it after I'm finished here."

Eyes widened a moment at the little gold's outburst before she settled into a light chuckle and shook her head. "Treasure, watch your language. That's no way for a pirate to talk." Turning her eyes back to Desi. "I'm not sticking around for any debt collection. Hunter's side dealings shouldn't be entangled with the ones I came along for."

Eyes closed at gentle touching for a moment before watching him again as he went back to cleaning blood through torn clothing. A little frown as he seemed to think that she was sorry for ruining his clothes with blood. That was a silly think to be sorry about...so why did he think that? He was supposed to be angry at her for rash decisions, he had warned her before about it and how it made her a liability...which to her it seemed she was doing a very good job of being such right now. A small shake of her head at his words though. "For not thinking."

"Fair enough." Not really caring for the actions of the moment by him but more or less listening to her own body and the sound of wind past her ears coupled with whispered words from her own 'ears' hidden away on ships and getting the dirt of what was happening.

Des narrowed her eyes a bit.

"I was killing things your height before you were a fleeting though of a possible future in your mother's dreams."

before holding up her finger to gem.

"Not about you getting involved, just about when the ship shows up to collect, don't panic about it."

then a shrug.

"Want to talk privately now, or would you prefer to arrange for a future appointment to do so?"

Fang watched them get far out of range, and glanced at his first mate.

"Track them. send word to those that fly our colors to discreetly keep an eye out. they mentioned Jones...I want to know about it's outcome. if Deacon goes to the locker, I want to know about it. and keep an eye on what they're after. If it is those shards...have those under our command work to swipe them. I don't care how."

Hunter gave a nod to richards, who took over the helm while he kept an eye on the Serpent, taking out his spyglass. SO far she wasn't moving after them, which was good, and bad. good becuase they were getting too far away to make for easy catch, and bad becuase fang had infinite patience. he could have already arranged something they were sailing right into.

Not about to argue with his captain, he chose another way of dealing with her instead. Sticking out his tongue, he waggled it at Desdemona and sniffed. "I'll keep 'em in line, Cap'n." Referring to other said pirates of course.

"Your senses tell you that I am not your enemy, halfling. Anything you keep from me will cause your peril." She scoffed at his thought and shook her head. "A steady eye will neither keep you alive nor acclimate yourself to this world. Use something more or remove your presence from the ship. Areesa, keep an eye on him." Thus, turning her attention to Jae and Kaznec.

"Aye Aye, Lynnie!" Zooming to a stop from her hovering next to Xeke, she bounced around Logan's head and giggled. "Is this a game? What fun! Xeke should play too. So...what are you? You must be some kind of dragonishy-flying-humany thingy! Right? Right?!"

He was thinking entirely too much and mostly thoughts that shouldn't be crossing into his mind. It wasn't just about her either but of home, his family, and the job he'd been charged with. The meeting had been vague, the hooded figure before him giving him only enough information to carry out the briefest of jobs. But there was more to it and a growing sense of unrest within the very threads of the plane sharpened his senses to what was coming. It was more than this ship from the depths and far more treacherous than any dragon-eating squid. It would likely change the very fabric of the plane itself and have an effect on all interpredatory relationships. Times were changing. Those here could either hop on board or be left in the sand.

He paused for a moment, thinking over her words. Blinking once he looked around before looking down to her again. "Fine, you want to know about the phoenix? I'll give you the short version." He gave her a brief knowledge about Aiden, who she was and that she and the phoenix existed together as one. He even told her that the reason why he was worried about what was let out because she was his mate and he carried so much about her. "I have nothing against you, but she is very important to me. But if you want to know anything else just ask." Though his eyebrow popped up at her choice of words, what was this? "Trust me I have ways other than my steady eye ma'am. I can take care of myself." He sighed a little and before he knew it he was assigned a babysitter of sorts. Why the hell did he need to be watched? Suddenly his space was invaded by another ball of light, this one seemed more jumpy than the other one. "I'm just half human and half dragon, that is all." Great, a ball of light following him around...just what he needed.

"Desi when will you learn to stop threatening children. You never truly win because they're never truly listening." Chuckling lightly at that before another sigh on her part. Setting the boy down she pat him on the head, "Go help Mister Robins boss people around for a moment and see if you can scrounge me up a muffin, alright Treasure?" Turning her attention then to Desi and motioning her to follow with two fingers to her cabin. "What do you have to say?"

Closed eyes opened and looked down to the ship, particular conversations crossing her channels. Private conversations in one corner and talk of a phoenix in another corner. Well well, someone knew a phoenix...how delightful that could be. It was at least more exciting than pirate lore, seeing as she had heard that without end for days now. Might have to look into that later. Snorting brought her attention back to where it should be and she pet the mare lightly, giving her a click of her tongue to let her know she could land now.

Desdemona followed after here, and once in the cabin, settled herself down.

"War is coming. flat out open warfare. the lords are moving on the city. they plan to start their siege tomorrow. and they have help. Fang has apparently, rather then go himself, sent a dispatchment of Riders in his stead."

drumming her fingers on her leg lightly.

"If what we here about the city is correct, it's in no state to be fending off the combined might of the pirate lords...at least in the long term. they could put up a great fight short term, but if it comes to a battle of attrition, they're going to lose."

Leaning against the desk that was in her cabin she watched Desi before blinking at her and raising an eyebrow. “ And what does that have to do with me, Desi? I’m not a lord.” Granted her father had been from Ilindal and such but see really never graced their ports.

The red ball of light reflected harshly off of black scales, getting the dragon’s look. “What do you want, you pest?”

"If word of it reaches bell and kanzec, they're going to abandon you. the whole point of this thing was to get those shards for that orb thing to return it there. does no good if there is no city left. so the little star eyes will probably leave too. that leaves you down at least two crew, and those little ones, in hostile sands with a now heavily reinforced Serpent on your tail."

leaning back in her seat.

"I'm telling you, so you can try and stifle things before that comes up. Hunter used this to try and bribe Kanzec into a deal about the Prince. Kanzec gives himself up to the prince, Hunter uses his influence to sway the decision. Kanzec refused, so this was the result."

"I'm running on full crew thank you very much. Even if those up and leave, I still have a full roster." Though she frowned because she was more or less being threatened about all of this. "He what?! That man is more and more moronic everytime I turn around! Why did he think that would be something that would work in his favor? Let alone that the little star eyed creatures would let such a thing happen. Does he not think anymore?" Shaking her head and taking her hat off, brushing her hand through her hair.

"Silence Areesa." Turning and glancing up at Logan once more, Eilynne shook her head. "You care for your mate by speaking of her in open air where all ears are attuned to every creak and rattle on a ship? You fool. Those who know the legends will stop at nothing. Those who do not may still learn of them. Watch your tongue in the future or it will be taken from you."

"He does think. but he thinks first of himself and his own crew before the needs or wants of others. what I meant to point out, is that in our encoutners with fang, the dragons have been a decisive factor, myself included. neither the Chimera or the Gale Claw can survive the Serpent if she gets her fangs in. which is why I was sent to tell you about the city. Hunter is going to be keeping things down as well for that reason, at the very least until we are beyond Fang's borders."

"He's not doing a good job of thinking for himself first either. Does he want an full grown red to come down on him with all but hellfire for throwing his son to Jones? Lycear would probably even eat him and we all know the noble dragon folk don't eat humany things." Shaking her head, she as still convinced that Hunter didn't think things through and with his luck it was going to get him killed. She wasn't going to be victim in his foolishness though. He was good for a romp in the sheets but not so much for life dependency. "Are you sure they don't already know? And just because I keep things under wraps...you know very well then are quite a few different sources here."
