Lumina had stayed in town long enough to help what villagers she could, then had taken to the woods. It was just at the edge, the town still visible from where she sat. She had never been a healer herself, and so staying any longer at the Pokecenter with so many injured made her feel uncomfortable. Her arm had injuries that could be ignored, so for now she sat alone, Chai perched in her lap in a deep sleep.

It was almost meditative, simply running her fingers through the eevee's fur. Seeing the Rockets escape with the pokemon was heart wrenching though. Hadn't that been the only reason she took to the fight? To try and protect them? Sighing, she shook her head and refused to push herself into a rut. At least the town was free from their grip. "Hey Chai, you know, I think you're going to enjoy being a watcher with me." She grinned as the eevee flicked an ear, "Traveling place to place, you'll be free all the time you know. Get rid of some of that energy along the way so you don't scare anything off when it's time to observe."

She chuckled and leaned back, the air beginning to regain its freshness as the wind carried away the smoke from yesterday's battle. Lumina could see how this would have been a nice village at once. It just needed a bit of work and it'd be as good as new. "Right Chai?" She looked down at the eevee as if the sleeping pokemon would have somehow heard and thought the same things.

Flint nods " yeah. you guys were more in the middle of the fray than me" he says with a slight frown " i think im gonna stick around a while longer and help with the repairs, it wouldn't feel right to leave before the town was fixed up "

Shina winced at the bandages on Alex's face, and the sling supporting her arm. When the words sink in she blinks. "How? How do we pretend this never happened? We came on a quest to see what was supposed to be a natural wonder, to catch an eevee, only to find that the entire thing was a lie." Shina shakes her head. "Now I see why people told me to just stay home and let Papa buy me a nice pet meowth." Shina looks closer and sees the slightly glazed look in the other's eyes. "You look exhausted. Are you planning on leaving immediately?"

"Yeah I guess I was." Alexa replied smiling at him, "Thanks. I'm sure the villagers will appreciate that." She paused for a moment looking down as if thinking. "Still got to get that grave marker for the Grumpig. Want to help out with that? That is if we can find the grave and it's still intact?"

"I've been better," Ridley admitted grimly, nodding at him, relieved that he was not hurt and feeling his heart relax immediately. He saw Liam look over his Tauros, knowing that the healer was assessing whether his beast was all right. Ridley relaxed even more when Soulcrusher seemed to pass his little test and the Rocket laid a hand on his furry ribs, lined with a healthy layer of muscle and fat.

"I'm not dead though. I'll get out of here in one piece, hopefully."

He was not wearing his customary leather jacket, and was instead clad in a black t-shirt, much like Liam's, though his jeans were still ripped. He'd spiked up his hair so that he hardly looked like the scruffy grunt from before, his face clean-shaven, revealing the angles of his strong jaw. He looked younger than his years.

"Do you know what happened?" he asked at length, looking over at the shrine with hesitant curiosity.

Exhausted, Kiyo pushed his way through the crowds of injured trainers and pokemon, medics and healers running about like headless chickens, and the disasterous remains of the previous events. As his tired eyes looked about everything, he slowly began to feel insignificant. So much had happened and he had done so little. It was all so...overbearing.

He trudged along hoping to reach the forest outskirts before he broke down weeping when he saw the familiar outline of a certain Raichu and company.

"Jyp...su- ack." He'd been shouting so much, his throat was finally deciding to call it quits on him. He coughed a bit and continued making a beeline towards the ginger and her Raichu. Hopefully he could relax with her and get his mind off of things.

Zinnia's eyes widened. "Me fight?" she gasped.

Zyk puffed up at once and gave a shrill squeak that clearly meant, "NO."

"That would be so cool!" The ex-Rocket finished. She was only thirteen years old, but the idea of learning to defend herself so that she would not always have to rely on Zyk or Shadow was exciting. She ignored Zyk as he began to protest. "Thank you, I'll find those as soon as I can! Or... Actually, after we've had a chance to rest," she amended, gesturing to herself and Zyk. While they were pretty much unharmed besides a few tiny cuts and scrapes, the emotional strain had been tough. Zinnia guessed that Shadow Mew was recuperating somewhere else.
