no they are bugs...they don't fall under the classification of food, which is mammals, plants, and birds. Insects are not acceptable, so that is still a BIG no from me.

Lunarsun Sorry ...female here ...eating bugs will never appeal to me as good eatting. Don't worry I agree with you lass. Frankly I'm not particularly fond of bugs when they're 5 feet away from me, no less in my hand expecting to be eaten.

Won't push you any further. Although humans have been eating them for a couple hundred years.

And humanity have been on the earth longer than a couple of hundred years, so I can guess why we stopped. Yuck.

Lunarsun And humanity have been on the earth longer than a couple of hundred years, so I can guess why we stopped. Yuck. Technically we didn't. There are still quite a few places they're eaten. Even considered a delicacy.

Lunar, bugs have always been considered a food. From the dawn of the idiotic and chaotic race known as humans and until mother nature realizes her mistake and kills us all.... bugs are going to be a source of food.

Chocolate Covered Ants and Escargo in France. Grilled Scorpion in Australia. People used to eat the worm in a bottle of Tequila. Course most of them remove the worm these days.

Escargo is snails ...and the that is just gross.
Chocolate cover ants might not be too bad, because all you taste is chocolate.
Grill scorpion ..yeah, I like my with a side of worm and poison. Really .......I don't care if it's from the dawn of time ....humanity is learning to move on from the gross stuff thank you.
No one eats that if they aren't trying to be exotic or excentric.

Also not true lass. Just in this country and yours. Some places it's still pretty common. Just like eating dogs or cats in some places.
